2025 update: I am still not over our bad experience with Susan and would like to provide more details. In 2020 we were navigating Covid, 2 kids under 2, and an intense medical journey with our disabled son to find out his exact diagnosis. Our marriage struggled through the typical SAHP vs working parent dynamic. My husband was overworked and stressed from being the sole provider for our family during this difficult time. I was complete overwhelmed by day-to-day life with 2 very young kids plus the added stress of navigating (mostly virtual) specialist Dr appts, therapy (physical, speech, and occupational), and learning everything I could about child development to help my son at home since our access to professionals was limited. Susan sided with my husband. I specifically remember her suggesting I allow him 20 minutes to "decompress from his work day" when he comes home. The final straw was when she suggested once a week or so I tidy the house before he gets home and greet him at the door with a fresh cocktail. This is after the fact that we had told her multiple times we are not big drinkers (which kept coming up since oddly many of her suggestions for spending quality time together included drinking). Gag. My husband was equally mortified by these suggestions (even though they benefit him) and we made the mutual decision to discontinue therapy. read more

I've been seeing Ms. Susan for well over a year! I always get so excited when I get to see her on Thursdays! She helped me to see light when there was so much darkness in my life. She's loving, caring, patient, and always has the best recommendations for me. She has been the best counselor I have personally ever had! I loved it when she would show me videos, talk me through them, and ask me what they meant to me. I also loved when she would ask me what are the good and bad things that had happened that week. Whenever I would speak and or think negatively, she would show me a more positive way to look at it. Ever since I have been going to her, I have never spoken, thought, and acted so positively in my life! I still enjoy it when she gives me tips and tricks to help me manage my chronic pain and the way I think! She's always been such a fun person to talk to! Overall, I highly recommend going to see Ms. Susan and her cute dachshunds! read more

I have trouble finding a good therapist. Susan isn't a good therapist. She charged me $340 to watch a YouTube video of a Ted talk from a girl talking about her experience as a model. She tried to diagnose with autism and bipolar disorder. She called me racial slurs and played candy crush and texted people while showing me YouTube videos. She calls me the yellow skinner. She made me throw up and forced pills on me and a false diagnosis. She called me naive and shy and bipolar and other crazy things. She told me I belong in a library and told me to quit my job. She left me a voice mail at 6 am and I called back and she was rude. I don't want her having my number. When I would come to her house for therapy her door would be locked. She had me join Facebook groups and dating apps and gave me delusional advice. She acted like what I was going through was all in my head and she didn't care about the goals I had for myself. She gave me two books and had me come back to therapy. When I asked her if she knew anything about the disorders she acted clueless and asked me if I read her book. I asked her if she read it and she said no and stared at her phone. Every session she let her dogs out to kiss my face and jump all over me. When I texted her she wouldn't reply. When I called her she asked to speak to my parents. I am an adult and she treated me like a child. She bought herself lip filler and a matcha making kit from Amazon and called me stupid and naive and crazy and the yellow skinner. Don't call me ever again. I'll find someone else to talk to. Susan is a racist person who gives bad advice over and over again. And I don't want to pay you for your delusional advice and terrible services. She violated my privacy and tried to get me to be in a conservatorship so she could give me bad advice and profit off my parents and me. She sent me to a mental hospital and didn't call me when I was in there. I waisted time and money talking to her. I got sick from her. She made fun of me for praying too. She took my phone and texted my friend I am a lesbian, don't text me. I don't want to be friends with Susan. She is full of crap. She is insane. read more

Susan worked with our daughter for over a year. She was incredibly patient, kind, loving and supportive. I would certainly recommend her highly. read more

I absolutely have no bad things to say about Dr. Susan Wills. I was going through a very painful separation from my wife, and decided that therapy might help. Dr. Wills was able to very quickly grasp where I was coming from and help me learn things about myself that I had never known. I made very quick breakthroughs thanks to her advice and everything she said really helped. There are not enough superlatives to adequately describe the help and treatment I received from Dr. Susan Wills during our sessions together to help me deal with bereavement over the loss of my wife of 51 years. A highly rated therapist, and deservedly so, Dr. Wills displayed an incredible amount of patience and understanding in dealing with my issues resulting in a successful return to a healthy outlook on life and restoring a positive outlook going forward. Susan is not only empathetic, but she is well studied in a variety of treatments for depression, anxiety, and PTSD. All of which I have. She listens very well and asks a lot of questions. She doesn't attempt to treat/provide solutions until she understands the situation. The more you tell her the better she's able to assist. She has so many resources and is consistently providing material the inspires and explains how to conquer with love for self and others. She's genuinely compassionate and concerned. She believes in the ability of the individual to change and will not nourish a victim mindset. read more

I found Susan here on yelp with great reviews, and thought I would give her a try. I am SO glad that I stopped listening to my know-it-all self and made an appointment with Susan. She knew almost immediately how to steer me in the right direction, and I have seen such a turnaround in my life and outlook. One of the things I really like about working with Susan is that it's very interactive. She recommends books (which I have read and found extremely helpful!), Ted Talks, videos, and wellness apps, and gives me homework. Sometimes it's just practicing mindfulness and gratitude, and sometimes it's making lists of things to examine my wins or explore my past. Everything she recommends seems tailored specifically to me and my needs. None of it has felt superfluous or an attempt at a one-size-fits-all solution; she has years of experience and resources at her fingertips and knows which recommendations would fit me! Susan is so warm and sweet and made me comfortable upon our first meeting. I look forward to our visits and feel like she truly cares about my happiness and well being with the compassion of a friend and mentor. I have definitely recommended her to others.
