We cannot say enough good things about Michael. Not only did he help us shift our perspectives, but…read morehe was able to understand our struggles and help us to become closer and more understanding of eachother. Michael really seemed to CARE about us as individuals and about the success of our marriage. Neither of us felt judged, or mislead for any period of time. We actually both felt positive changes immediately after our first visit! He keeps in touch via text, and seems to be available to work around schedules. He also accepts payment via Venmo, which is always convenient. After an alarming amount of progress, we have ended our regular visits. We will keep him close for "marriage tune-ups" as needed. Our entire experience with Michael has been fantastic! If you feel pulled to work with Michael, it is definitely worth the time and money to make contact! Good luck :)

After realizing the damage he was causing, we went to seek another counselor and though she was good at her job, my husband could not utilize her help because of the damage and distrust Michael's therapy did to him. Be careful and take the blinders off when seeking professional help. There are wolves disguised in sheep clothing out there. God Bless you all.

Although we dated for several years before getting married, we welcomed our daughter just a year after being married. We finally had the perfect little family that we always imagined, but truthfully our marriage was struggling. Cathie has been amazing! For the first time in a long time, my husband and I are truly enjoying each other again! If you are struggling with your relationship or just looking for tools to better improve your marriage I would highly recommend reaching out to Cathie. My husband was initially hesitant about seeking counseling and he will agree that it was the best decision we've ever made for our family. We are extremely grateful for Cathie and her guidance!

That was the first thing that drew me in. I was able to be see and feel no judgement based on my past - just help. Diagnosis that explain everything versus someone who just sits and nods their head, medication therapy if need be and they provide tools or information to help you help yourself now & in the future. Dr. Calzada was the only doctor when I first started seeing him but he has now expanded and has a second provider, Dr. Benoit to help with follow up visits. Both Dr Calzada and Dr Benoit are great and easy to talk to. If I've ever had any questions I've been able to email either doctor and they get back pretty quickly. For a quick answer or to help schedule an appointment. Makes it easier on some people who work during their typical open hours and can't necessarily call! *Currently because of covid 19 they are also offering the appointments online and video chat. I'm sure once it settles down, they'll go back to offering in person appointments*

A list of things that would have been more emotionally fulfilling and practically useful than the…read more$300 I spent to make an appointment with Dr. Calzada: -- 300 jars of dried oregano from the dollar store -- all 20 seasons of the original Law & Order series on DVD -- giving $1 to 300 panhandlers or $5 to 60 panhandlers or $300 to one very lucky panhandler -- two Design Toscano Bigfoot Garden Statues, Large 28 Inch, Polyresin, Full Color via Amazon dot com I chose Dr. Calzada because I needed to get back on my ADHD medication and his clinic charged $300 out-of-pocket instead of the $400-500 other psychiatrists were charging. This was possibly the single most regrettable mistake I have ever made in my life, and I am a person who once dated a guy into competitive yoyoing. Within fifteen minutes of meeting me, Dr. Calzada had not only ignored everything I had to say but also diagnosed me with borderline (I exhibit no traits of borderline), declared that my depression was a result of the "negative self-image" I'd cultivated due to my parents' "negative treatment of me as a young child" (not true), diagnosed my FATHER with depression and borderline (????), and told me a 20-minute story about an anorexic girl who couldn't recognize that she wasn't overweight and subsequently died (an uplifting, optimistic tale that greatly boosted my spirits). Literally the only reason I didn't get up and leave was because I needed my prescriptions; I spent the entire hour with a fake grin plastered on my face, smiling and nodding and just waiting for the minute hand to tick over until I could finally leave. "He's not going to be your therapist," I told myself internally, grappling with the idea of continuing to see him for medication management, "so you don't actually need to have a rapport with him," but considering I felt more in-tune with a psychiatrist from years ago whose intake paperwork included the question "are you homosexual" (gotta love in-network providers) I could barely imagine myself coming back and subjecting myself to another few months of this. I can't give this practice zero stars, but I suppose they do deserve one star: an appointment was made by the office staff, the chairs were comfortable, I was offered water, and Dr. Calzada did end up writing my prescriptions -- at least, for a medication I couldn't possibly afford. When I reached out to the office to help me fill out some paperwork for a patient assistance program, I learned it would be another $100 for them to help me fill out the paperwork (which I needed because, you know, I couldn't afford my medication). I have not contacted the practice since and, thankfully, neither have they contacted me. If I had a time machine, I'd go back and tell myself to fork out the extra $100-200 to see another psychiatrist. ANY other psychiatrist. Or I'd just buy two of those Bigfoot sculptures and set them on either side of my desk, spurred into productivity by the look of intensity in their twin hand-painted resin-cast visages.
