My husband and I are beyond grateful for her. She changed our lives for the better forever. We are beyond lucky to have her in our corner throughout our marriage journey. We are so much better equipped to handle this life together and our marriage. If your marriage is in need of a refresher, tackling traumas or root issues, we truly believe Cathie can help anyone in any state. Although we dated for several years before getting married, we welcomed our daughter just a year after being married. We finally had the perfect little family that we always imagined, but truthfully our marriage was struggling. Cathie has been amazing! She has provided us with invaluable tools to improve on our communication and ignite the spark that we lost over time. I love that Cathie is compassionate, yet straight forward. For the first time in a long time, my husband and I are truly enjoying each other again! If you are struggling with your relationship or just looking for tools to better improve your marriage I would highly recommend reaching out to Cathie. My husband was initially hesitant about seeking counseling and he will agree that it was the best decision we've ever made for our family. We are extremely grateful for Cathie and her guidance!

I can't say enough good things about Lisa Young. Working with her has been incredibly helpful,…read moreespecially during the postpartum period after having my baby. She created such a safe, non-judgmental space where I felt comfortable exploring emotions and thoughts that came up that I honestly wasn't expecting. She helped me gently unpack why certain feelings surfaced postpartum and guided me through understanding them instead of feeling overwhelmed or ashamed by them. She never rushed the process and always met me where I was emotionally. I felt truly heard, supported, and validated in every session. If you're navigating postpartum changes, big life transitions, or just trying to understand yourself better, I highly recommend Lisa Young. She's compassionate, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about helping you move forward in a healthy way.

I was fortunate to have great support in my younger years when I tragically lost my father at an early age. More recently, I felt I needed support as I have been dealing with PTSD from the past and anxiety. Caileigh is the most genuinely caring, empathetic , and active listening counselor I have ever encountered!! Whether it is our conversation, or the use of EMDR, She has been a problem solver and beyond wonderful!!!

Over the years, I have been moved between multiple providers due to provider turnover within the practice. I recently called for a refill and was told by the receptionist that I could not receive any medication, not even a short bridge refill, until I completed an appointment. I was given no advance notice that this would happen. In the past, I have been able to schedule an appointment and receive a small temporary supply until I could be seen. Because of this sudden refusal, I am now experiencing withdrawal symptoms, including brain zaps, after abruptly stopping a medication I have taken for years. My concern is not simply about scheduling. My concern is the lack of continuity of care, lack of notice, and lack of a safe medication plan for an established psychiatric patient. I understand the importance of follow-up appointments, but abruptly leaving a long-term patient without a bridge refill or provider review feels unsafe and unacceptable. This experience has been very disappointing after four years with the practice, and I would not feel comfortable recommending them based on how this was handled.

2025 update: I am still not over our bad experience with Susan and would like to provide more…read moredetails. In 2020 we were navigating Covid, 2 kids under 2, and an intense medical journey with our disabled son to find out his exact diagnosis. Our marriage struggled through the typical SAHP vs working parent dynamic. My husband was overworked and stressed from being the sole provider for our family during this difficult time. I was complete overwhelmed by day-to-day life with 2 very young kids plus the added stress of navigating (mostly virtual) specialist Dr appts, therapy (physical, speech, and occupational), and learning everything I could about child development to help my son at home since our access to professionals was limited. Susan sided with my husband. I specifically remember her suggesting I allow him 20 minutes to "decompress from his work day" when he comes home. The final straw was when she suggested once a week or so I tidy the house before he gets home and greet him at the door with a fresh cocktail. This is after the fact that we had told her multiple times we are not big drinkers (which kept coming up since oddly many of her suggestions for spending quality time together included drinking). Gag. My husband was equally mortified by these suggestions (even though they benefit him) and we made the mutual decision to discontinue therapy.

She's loving, caring, patient, and always has the best recommendations for me. She has been the best counselor I have personally ever had! I loved it when she would show me videos, talk me through them, and ask me what they meant to me. I also loved when she would ask me what are the good and bad things that had happened that week. Whenever I would speak and or think negatively, she would show me a more positive way to look at it. Ever since I have been going to her, I have never spoken, thought, and acted so positively in my life! I still enjoy it when she gives me tips and tricks to help me manage my chronic pain and the way I think! She's always been such a fun person to talk to! Overall, I highly recommend going to see Ms. Susan and her cute dachshunds!
