The task was a small bathroom remodel. The house is approximately 65 years old. The bathroom was part of a bedroom addition on a car pad, so no real access under the floor. The floor around the shower was soft so definitely wetness under the shower. Ashley's quote was competitive with 3 other quotes. Those quotes were from one of the big, advertised bathroom firms, one was from a small remodeling firm, and one was from a larger established local contractor. We talked about planning for the unexpected. Ashley had great suggestions related to the tiles and fixtures. I believe that small bathroom remodeling is probably more difficult than a larger bathroom because there is such limited room to work in. As expected, there was floor rot requiring replacing some of the subfloor. But there were also the unexpected, unexpected items, such as cutting through an AC line because it was previously installed incorrectly laying across a floor joice. The team did an excellent job of pivoting when it was needed to get the effort completed. All the craftsmen did great work. But a team is only as good as its leader. Ashley did the quoting and started off the project, but Marinna (excuse the spelling) was the project leader, and she did an excellent job of coordinating craftsman and making sure they had the supplies that were needed. Amazing We absolutely LOVED working with Willow Bay. This was our first ever project and it was an entire first floor renovation and remodel. We had a leak in our shower. We needed someone to come out assp. We were given Ashley's number. She came right out and asked us what we wanted done and gave some advice. A plan was made and they finished in a timely manner.
