This place has SO MUCH!! It's very cute and well organized, so many options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helped me to my car with everything. I was shocked at the amount of cute pottery animals they had, I ended up getting a little dog one & I love it!! So cute, just check this place out. read more

Be very careful everybody. It's all sales final. If you have anything that doesn't make it they're not going take it back once you load it in your car it's yours. It doesn't say that on the receipt, but that's their policy. Just found that out today the hard way. read more

"The Old Gray Mare, She Ain't What She Used To Be" Not as much variety. But it will always be one of my to go places. I

I spent quite a bit of money here and bought not only dirt, but Native plants, and one plant I paid 150 bucks for. Even though I showed them a picture that I thought the plant had something on it that possibly came from the nursery And it was 6 feet tall and was dying and they wouldn't honor any kind of guarantee, even though I have several other plants that were also watered by the same person that all lived. The way I was treated by their staff member like he could care less and it didn't make any difference. I wouldn't shop here again. You're better off buying your plants at Home Depot or Lowe's for the price instead of supporting them as much as I like to support small businesses I also can't support businesses that don't take care of their customers.. read more

Plain and simple: Immediate service, large selection of plants, and great recommendations for my landscaping. I don't have a reference for the prices, but they appeared super reasonable for the quality of the plants, and every plant has 'survived' my (slightly) green thumb. I'll be back. read more

The nursery has a large selection and knowledgeable people. Some people are friendlier than others. My biggest disappointment is they do not offer volume discounts which other nurseries provide. I purchased a large tree (30 gal+) and a dozen azaleas for a small project and told them I do this on a regular bases. Unfortunately no discount so I won't be going back. read more

I went to willow tree for the first time today. This place is awesome and all the staff is friendly and knowledgeable! I bought a beautiful magnolia tree and some plants. They loaded it in my car and couldn't have been more helpful!! Bye bye home depot when it comes to my garden needs!! I highly recommend Willow tree!! The prices are great too! Kim Lord read more

The very nicest nursery and house plant source as well as outdoor trees and plants. Beautifully laid out grounds and well tended paths with occasional interesting garden sculptures (old machinery, some statuary). All the plants are well cared for. There is a good selection of houseplants including rarer varieties of calathea, hoya, and alocasia to name a few. Of course it depends on the day you go and what deliveries they've had. The prices are good/competitive, although like other nurseries some very rare/popular varieties can be pricey. Even if you don't buy, it's fun to just walk around all the paths of indoor and outdoor plants-well ordered and beautiful. It's a good place to get bonsai accessories, pots and tools. The staff has always been pleasant and answered my questions. Recommend a visit if you are a "planty" person or if you just need a certain plant. read more

Great nursery with lots of different plants. I can't believe it took me this long to make a trip here. I only looked at the indoor plant area and they had so many plants at a good price. All of the plants looked so healthy and lush. I came for a bird of paradise and somehow ended up leaving with four plants lol. The checkout system is organized and everyone I spoke with that works there was very friendly. They have planters and cement garden figures for sale too. Will have to come back with the hubby and check out the whole place soon. read more

Staff was great! very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are competitive and it's bigger than it looks. It sprawls. It's very well organized and I have already recommended it to my daughter and son-in-law who live in the area. Definitely recommend. Plants are robust and well cared for and the variety is FAB! Go and be pleasantly surprised, I was! read more

This place is the best I wish some of my neighbors would shop here lol every last bit of my yard plants plants plants I will never understand the thinking behind yards with nothing but pebbles or shells and spraying roundup all over. I love watching all my plants and stuff grow and being in the shade these house flippers just cut down this awesome tree in the yard a few houses down from me they were not even going to live there! read more

Love this Nursery. It's not the closest place to me but always worth the drive. They have the healthiest plants with new inventory every time I go. Great prices and helpful gardeners/workers. read more

This is our go-to spot for plants of all kinds. They are well-staffed with helpful, knowledgeable team members + the prices are comparable to what we've seen elsewhere. The selection is top-notch with trees, flowers, vines, and more spread out throughout the property. It's the great experience + great selection + great prices that keeps us coming back read more

Much bigger than it seemed from the road. Tons of options and prices were good. Thankful they're open on Sunday when my regular nursery is closed. Now this is my go-to place for new plant babies. Everything was clearly marked with prices and the type of plant. So much better than some places where you have to chase down the salesperson with questions on each plant you like. I love this place! read more

Wonderful little tree nursery! I was in search for new indoor plants and they had a great variety for me to pick from. The nursery is very easy to maneuver through and the prices are reasonable. I will be definitely coming back soon. :) read more

Willow Tree Nursery - One of the three plants I purchased! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Saint Petersburg, Florida

One of my favorite places to buy and browse, I always find something new, and the stock is maintained appropriately so it always looks healthy. The staff is well-informed pleasant and service-oriented. I also love supporting local businesses rather than the corporate mega stores. read more

Best plant shop around! I love the selection. I am into collecting rare plants and they get all kinds of awesome rare beauties. Highly recommended by a plant lover! read more

Stopped by yesterday for some advice on privacy plants. Tacoma helped us. He was very informative. He gave us space to look around and was eager to help us load our new plants in the truck. I have lived in the area for a long time. Wish I would have stopped in years ago instead of defaulting to the "big box" stores. read more

This has always been my go to nursery due to selection and variety of plants they stock; however in this past year their prices didn't just ratchet up, they leaped! Standard stock perennials that were 2.99 are now 5.99 and up. They have outpaced my pocketbook. What a shame! read more

I am so glad I went to Willow Nursery. They were extremely supportive and helpful. I bought a beautiful pot for my orchid. They have a wonderful selection of plants as well. read more

What a delightful place! A long time local recommended we purchase plants for our home here. Beautiful grounds, plants all looked healthy, and the staff was so helpful! We felt the pricing was better than at a big box store. I already want to go back and get more plants for the backyard. On their website they noted that they're happy to have you come and just walk with your coffee. No joke, it would be a wonderful morning activity! Highly recommend! read more

Incredible nursery and knowledgeable, helpful staff! Love it! Make sure you pay them a visit.

I love this nursery! They offer so many different trees, shrubs, annuals, shade garden to full Sun options, that there is something for every need. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about their offerings! I am never made to feel that my questions are a bother. Love to shop here and prices are comparable to the 'big box stores', but offerings are much better. You won't be sorry if you visit! read more

Avoid this place, at least for the next few weeks. They are redoing the parking lot and have closed half of it. I asked where to park and received no answer, only that they had work to do. So I nestled my car along the the side. After I paid, I guy came out and hassled me about where I parked. I was not blocking anybody or anything. He said I should have asked then walked off as I was explaining that I had. Very poor customer service read more

My friend purchase a Magnolia tree from Willow for my sons adoption. I contacted Willow the next day to hire them to come out and plant the tree. Through out the next several months I reached out to Willow on multiple occasions saying the tree was not in good shape and their response is just.... keep watering it even though I said there is zero leafs. Last time I contacted them telling them there is no leafs and nothing green their response was that I was not watering it enough enough though it's on a timer to get watered. The tree is officially dead. read more

Beautiful nursery to walk around in. Nice collection of fruits and veggies. Bought several roses there that are ideal for florida. Staff is very friendly read more

This place is pretty awesome. As a new homeowner, a nursery is not a place I have historically gone to, so I don't have anything to compare it to. That being said, we know nothing, and the staff are always super helpful and don't make us feel dumb for not knowing anything. read more

Willow Tree Nursery - Rusty and Rusty Jr. - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Saint Petersburg, Florida

Love this nursery; unlike any other & open to the public! The size of this place is incredible; flowers, shrubs, ground cover, trees, ferns & house plants, fruits and veggies, herbs, you name it. They've got a bit of it all here and all excellent quality and comparable prices to some of the big stores. Everyone working here is extremely personable as well & 5 days a week you can catch ownership or immediate family working on site, with all kinds of know how on planting and plant & lawn upkeep. If they haven't got what u need, feel free to ask as they may be able to order! Visit this nursery, u will not be disappointed read more

Willow Tree Nursery - Just the corner of the nursery. Huge! - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Saint Petersburg, Florida

Their customer service is terrible. I bought a bag of Fertilome Ultra Potting Mix and the bag was full of yellow mold. I called and got zero help. They could not tell me if this mold was dangerous and were completely uninterested in finding out about it or offering to make it good by replacing the product. On top of that, the receipt I got when I made the purchase is so vague I can't even prove what I bought. Instead of product details all it says is "Soil" without reference to the specific product I bought. This is shoddy business practice and I'll be very careful making any purchases there in the future, if I go back at all. read more

My favorite place to get plants! I'm an avid gardener and this is my absolute favorite nursery. The variety is massive (check out their HUGE Staghorn Fern in the middle)! Forget those commercial home improvement stores, Willow Tree's prices and knowledgable staff are unbeatable. Because they are local and of good quality, I have shopped at Willow Tree for years. When checking out the other day, I asked the clerk why none of the employees were wearing face masks. He rudely responded, "look around, we are outside". We were NOT outside, we were in a building with garage doors. While shopping "outdoors" or in canvas structures, it was impossible to shop without constantly backing up from the employees or customers, none whom were wearing masks. Whether its ignorance, a political statement or they just don't care, not to do the very basic thing to protect your customers (and staff for that matter) isn't somewhere I will ever shop again. Dolans it is. read more

I had the strangest experience today when I called Willow Tree Nursery. I have been there several times to shop for hedges for my front porch. A man answered and I asked him if clusia would work for a 4ft high porch and his tone and answer was so condescending that it shocked me! He spoke to me as if I were ignorant. I've never been spoken to like that. He was incredibly rude. I was in my car on my way to make my purchase so instead, I drove to Home Depot and spent my money there. I normally like to support local businesses but the way that man spoke to me, I'll never step foot in that store again. Ever! read more

I love this nursery!! I have been buying many plants and flowers here for years. The service is fantastic and there is a wonderful selection of various plants and mulch. I do not have a green thumb. I'm from San Francisco, lived in a city with no gardening options for 20 years. I have been trying to grow some pest-repelling herbs for several months and finally decided to buy some lavender. I found out that lavender is notoriously hard to grow. I ended up getting two lavender plants and three rosemary plants. So glad that I bought them here! They are all still alive and thriving! I still need to replant into the ground around my house, but so far, so good read more
