    We have called them twice and left messages and have not had a call returned - very poor practice - will not call again

    Bought a Samsung heat pump a year ago that doesn't defrost rendering it useless in subzero…read moretemperatures requiring the use of...you guessed it...the backup baseboards I was trying to replace with the heat pump. It took Mike 4 months to replace the plug and play thermostat and board and it still doesn't work and he doesn't know how to fix it so he just says it's fine. I send him pictures of it covered in ice like an igloo but he says it's tough to tell looking at a picture. Unit fully under warranty but Mike won't help get me a working unit. Never showed up when it was cold and frozen like he said he would. If you are looking for an overpriced heat pump that doesn't work in winter and an HVAC guy that doesn't have a clue how to fix the units he installs Mike is your guy! He sure will cash your cheque though! My advice is look elsewhere for HVAC service.

    I am appalled and disgusted by the way I was treated by Mike, the owner of the company. On the 27th…read moreof December I sent him a message to tell him that my furnace and heat pump (that was installed not even a year ago) wasn't heating my house properly... Again! The temperature in my house was down to 14° and my 5 year old was so cold she was crying and my mom was sick with a cold. I didn't hear back from him so I called him a couple hours later. He answered the phone and said he got my message, I proceed to tell him that we were freezing and his exact words to me were, "I DON'T GIVE A F*** IF YOU'RE COLD!". During our conversation he repeated this many times to me along with saying, "houses get cold", "my warranty is up with you" and "I answered the phone to be nice". I had the units installed in March, to obviously keep my house from getting cold, and there is a one year warranty with the company which was not up yet. This company claims to have 24/7 emergency service but I guess it's only if he feels like honouring his warranty. He told me that since I live on Quadra Island he isn't going to come whenever there is an issue... He certainly had no problem coming to the island to take my money though. Right from the start after having the units installed I have had nothing but problems with the way Mike has conducted business with me and spoken to me. He didn't show me anything about maintaining my units and had me go under the house and connect the thermostat to the furnace over the phone because he didn't feel like coming back to the island to do it himself. If you're thinking about getting this company to install anything RUN!!!!!!! There are WAY better companies out there that respect and care about their customers.
