A nice mix of hazards- sand traps at a lot of holes and a few water hazards. Some of the sand traps were in rough shape, several had standing water. Most of the greens were in good shape, surprisingly fast but every once on a while there would be a green with dirt patches. Several tee boxes were also any issue, a couple had no grass whatsoever, it was odd. I was here for a tournament and the beer cart girls came around and regular intervals and the club house staff offered up a free keg when the tournament in front of us delayed our start.

The two we experienced was so fun. I love how each hole also had a game for the people who are waiting their turn. Kids are free to join in on the fun before 6 PM, after that it's 21+ until closing. Not sure if this place serves food, but there's definitely a bar near the lockers and cashiers. Ambiance is loud and fun! I highly recommend this spot if you're into putt putt. The only negative thing I'll mention here is the parking. Since this location is in downtown Omaha, currently, there is construction and street parking. Plan ahead if you plan to come here during a busy weekend!

The second we arrived I knew I was in for a challenge. When we walked into the proshop we were greeted by a delightful labrador who was super sweet and let me scratch her belly. :-) Right now they are running fall special, $1/hole with a cart so it only cost us $18 to play 9 holes which was great! Off the first tee I lost 3 balls to the house directly to the right of the tee box. Why, well I have a tendency to pull my head and not follow through. Hey! I'm working on it! I really did enjoy playing on a course that had hills and brush and sand traps. It helped me learn a few new tricks. I'll definitely be back to play this course. I'll aim to lose less balls next time I'm there though! :-)

The pool area is clean and well maintained, which is perfect for relaxing or spending time with the kids. On top of that, the food is surprisingly good for a poolside setup--fresh, tasty, and quick to come out. It's become one of our favorite summer spots for a casual, enjoyable day out.

The event was held in the lower-level bar and gathering space, which has a classic, old-school club atmosphere. It's clear this is a place with a lot of history, and while it doesn't seem overly concerned with chasing trends, that's part of its charm. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was surprisingly great, and the drinks were equally well done. As a non-member, I only got a glimpse of what the club has to offer, but the experience definitely left me curious to come back. I found Net Par to be a super fun activity that shows that there is so much more to love in the Capitol District. Net Par is very upscale in terms of design and layout - I could see it being a nice place to host an event with friends or family. They don't offer food, but you're allowed to order in from outside establishments or bring your own little snacks for your event or activity there. The golf simulator had something for everyone, like actual courses from around the world for the serious golfer, ones where you can just compete with your teammates to see who can hit the farthest, and fun games similar to Candy Crush that even kids would enjoy. You don't need to be an amazing golfer to enjoy Net Par. I definitely recommend it for your next date night, group hang out, or just to go play by yourself!

There is regular golf and mini golf, each with several options. We played mini golf which was really fun! We had four people and played almost two hours. They serve drinks and you can order food from a restaurant in the district they have a connection with. It was clean and well organized with lots of separate areas for golfing. It's new so maybe not every detail has been thought about so I suggest coat hooks maybe by the bathrooms.
