I would play this course again. It is very long, not walkable in my opinion. Several par 5s, a handful of 3s and mostly 4s. A nice mix of hazards- sand traps at a lot of holes and a few water hazards. Some of the sand traps were in rough shape, several had standing water. Most of the greens were in good shape, surprisingly fast but every once on a while there would be a green with dirt patches. Several tee boxes were also any issue, a couple had no grass whatsoever, it was odd. I was here for a tournament and the beer cart girls came around and regular intervals and the club house staff offered up a free keg when the tournament in front of us delayed our start. read more

We golfed here for 2 years in their league and was berated over the phone by the owner, Doug, for an issue with their website and an email that wasn't sent for the start of league. Ive never met an owner so obtuse to a customer for an error on the courses part. Thank goodness the new staff, Jack, was helpful and understanding. Would not recommend the course. read more

Let's call it a "value" course. It's challenging and fun however, there are some downfalls giving it a 3 star rating. For example, there seems to be a damaged sprinkler head near hole 12's cart path causing moss/algae on the pavement. This tells me it's been this way for a long time. The tee box on 17 had a lot of crabgrass. It was breezy on the front 9 as a previous reviewer noted, but it's not the course's fault. Not a lot of trees but quite a bit of sand on the back 9. The food was good (ham and turkey sandwich was a healthy portion) and was friendly service. One of the other golfers I was with had the bratwurst which he said was tasty. But the men's room was not very clean- mold in the urinals (yuck!). In addition, I booked the tee time online at a discounted rate. Make sure you bring the confirmation number (pulled it up on my smartphone) because they didn't have any record of it. Thy thanked me for having it with me as they have been having some issues with the system. read more

I love this coarse. It is the best for the money. In all of omaha. Has some difficult holes but very fun. Friendly people and good carts slow but good. Love coarse layout and have a couple of holes that are PGA ready. Especially 14, even though they did make it a little less intimidating when they trimmed the grass in the natural reserve but still very hard hole if you do not put in fairway. Very relaxing coarse. Lots of hills, turns, sand, water, and very tall roughs. Everything to make you want to stay on fairways. read more

The course itself is at least a 4/5, have loved the course the past couple years. But man playing 18 holes when it takes 6 hours is rough, and makes the round not that fun. Online showed almost every tee time open after 2 o'clock on Sunday, well we get ours set for 3:30 and we show up with 3 groups waiting on the tee box. Then don't tee off till 3:45. No pace of play, 7-8 minute tee times plus Covid golfers have really taken the fun out of golfing. Most of my golfing money is now going to small town courses where I can get my 18 holes in a couple hours. Played 27 in neola before 1pm, and they don't even open till 9! And then they'll usually just let you keep playing for at least half price, or free. read more

The staff is fantastic. The course is always in very good shape, just wish greens were a little faster. Very playable course for just about any level player, lower handicap players can be challenged by playing back tees. Well stocked quality golf shop. I have played several outings at Tregaron and the staff does a great job running any size outing. I highly recommend! read more

Tregaron is the worst golf course in the Bellevue/Omaha area. Even though I live on the golf course, they make no effort to take care of it. They charge you 45+ for 18 to go play on shitty greens and bunkers that is hard as a rock... may as well pick it up and throw it out. Management sucks and the cart girls are not even hot. But other than that, it's great! read more

Is there a "0" star? I've made it down there at least once a year, I play about 20+ rounds a year the past 4 seasons. They are typically backed up and tee off late every round and spend about 5hrs a round each visit. I reluctantly played this session, but won't be returning again, I only played because I had a gift card. Don't trust their online tee time registration or calling in, have been left off their "starter list" twice and had to be worked in...all told this after I've paid. Just unorganized and frustrating to deal with. It's either Murphy's law or they just consistently drop the ball. This last visit I check-in my twosome with the starter and we had been paired up with another single golfer to make 3. A few minutes passed and he had already forgotten he checked us in and seemed like he didn't know what was going on. He then he changes our group from a threesome to squeeze my twosome with the twosome that had just teed off and was already heading to their ball. No big deal it seems, but we go from casually taking our time to get ready to tee off, to being rushed to catch up and him snapping at us about not being ready. The starter at a golf course wearing sandals, gym shorts and a tee shirt is bitching to us about "professional courtesy." Get real. I should have known what to expect from years past. I guess I also should have known it would be a problem from the moment I get to the pro shop to pay for two rounds, explicitly saying "I will cover both green fees and cart fee," so he rings up my gift certificate, tells me I have $35 remaining. I ask him "is that after the two golfers" and he says "yes." Then he says he only rang up one golfer and I need to pay for the second golfer...smh...what?? So I settled that, but on top of that, we had two family members attempt to join along to just watch and enjoy a golf outing, but they wouldn't rent us two carts "because we just can't have 3 carts in a group" So, as we play our round, there are groups with 3 carts on the course. Just frustrating experiences one after another. read more

Desperately in need of new owners. Used to be a nice course, but now grass is burned up, greens are splotchy and horrible, no sand in the traps, cart paths are broken and sinking, it's all just bad. Still charging $45 for golf but no $ is going back into the course. Greens keeper should be ashamed. read more

Course was in okay condition despite all the rain. There were some flooded bunkers and sand traps that were essentially mud. There were also a few tee boxes that had 3 to 4 inch grass growing on them. read more

If you want to be killed or have bodily injuries play this course. Cart path in dis repair. Tee boxes in really bad shape. A person could upturn their cart on this course. If walking you have to watch your step. Talking to staff it seems the owners are in it for the monies. Has been in bad shape since last year. Has the potential to be a real nice course. We enjoyed a terrific 18 holes here. The terrain is diverse with lots of moguls, water, tricky tee box placements and fairway cuts. There are challenges on every hole. While the course is in good condition, there's a lot of water on several fairways. Management was generous in restricting the number of cart path only fairways, but significant mush still means quite a bit of walking unless one plays with a wrecking crew. We had a foursome and they sent us off the back first. Horrible shape. Fairways seemed like rough. Greens were slow spongy. Worst was it took us 3 hours to play 9 holes. People were quitting right and left. When we made the turn to play the front they had sent a single off in front of us, so now we were waiting even longer. I heard s guy in the group in front of us say it was the worst golfing experience he has ever had. I have to agree. If you want to play on a horrible course and have it take 6 hours, then this is the course for you. read more

Guys are crooks. I got through half of hole 1 and was unable to continue. I was "refunded" a raincheck that wasn't even the value that I paid...about 5-10 minutes earlier. So I'm out the time and money as I will definitely not be back. Maybe some of the other employees that I didn't encounter are good guys but Kevin Conrad (the guy who wouldn't give me a refund) isn't one of them. Fun time golfing but the staff was very rude unfortunately. We had a business outing with a buffet and the food was removed very early on with plenty of food left. When I asked them for a plate because they had removed it so early they said No. When I know for a fact there was plenty of food left over. The staff's hunger must have been more important than their guests. When I made a comment in private to a golf partner I was overheard and Snapped at by a part time employee. Once again a nice course but i will Never go back again because of the rudeness I encountered. read more

Standard Omaha Golf Course. I little challenging because of wind. I have played here on four separate occasions and everytime wind has been a big factor. The clubhouse is small, but the staff are nice. They do not have a driving range, but have a putting and chipping green. The tee colors are not standard, but not really an issue. Holes that stand out: Hole 2 Par 4, you have to drive over a large amount of water. Hole 7 Par 5, The green is situated with water to the left and back and bunkers located around it. Hole 13 Par 4, Hard dog leg left with water on left side. Hole 14 Par 5, Slight dog leg right with water on right side. Made difficult because you need to tee off behind a small dirt road. Hole 17 Par 5, Have to tee off up a hill and the initial fairway is very narrow. Carts do not GPS if I recall, and are electric. read more

Went with grandson to a Jr golf event at Tregaron on a near 100 degree day. Being almost 90 kids 16 and under and obviously not going to buy from beer cart so one would expect water to be on course. The group we were in was 3rd from the last to tee off. There were 80 plus players on course. Front nine had water almost gone on hole 4 and was refilled by the time we returned at hole 7. Same water bucket for both directions. Thought, Good job. Back nine not as well taken care of. First water found was on hole 14. Two buckets, nearly empty. Called clubhouse and asked for refills. Said would tell someone. Same buckets after playing next 3 holes, now were empty. Called again and asked for water. Told me would take 45 minutes. Clubhouse sent out cart girl to sell beverages. Nice but not too many 12 and 13 year olds are going to buy. Boy playing with us did not have cash. Finished round and went to clubhouse, asked for manager. He was laughing with a group of what was likely part of after work players that would likely buy beverages from cart girl. He stated he had the coolers filled 3 times. Hard to believe since I was out there and could se no one ever came close. I know our group was charged nearly 2400 dollars to play so my expectations were the kids would be professionally handled. My impression of this course is that management needs to learn how to take care of all guests. read more
