I am new in town and this was the first bike shop I tried based on reviews online. Now I realize…read morethat there are sort of a handful only, probably from family and friends of the owner. My recommendation: trust your gut. If the person interacting with you looks miserable, rude, and does not want to talk about your bike...run away. The staff is not the most patient and friendly. Going there feels like going through a McDonald's Drive Through, even though there is no one in the store most of times. They did not want to discuss the details of the service or what could be the issue with the bike. When asked about the possibility to get a part replacement, they brushed it off as it would take too much time and did not stop moving forward with "it's going to be ready in 2 days" before I could follow up on the matter. I really needed the bike done, otherwise I would have just walked out the door. The service was very disappointing to say the least. My bike was dirty, and I assumed that paying for tune-up on top of the specific repair it needed would make them clean it up. Again, it is hard to have expectations for the service clear if the person seems unwilling to discuss it at drop off. To my surprise, the bike was as dirty as when I dropped it off. How can you make sure all mechanisms are running smoothly if you did not even clean the bike? I am pretty sure there was no tune-up there. It is frustrating to pay $100 for a ghost tune-up. Makes you wonder if the main repair was really done properly as well. I just did not give the lowest score because they were actually very fast and returned the bike in 2 days as promised. But it's kind of easy when you don't actually do much work on it.

My daughter purchased a discount store bicycle off an online auction, sight unseen for $40. She was…read morejust looking for something to tool around on in the neighborhood and this fit the bill. Upon unboxing it however, we were shocked to see that both the front and back wheels were so wonky, the bike was going to be unrideable with out some repair. "No problem," I told her, "I've got tools and I can fix it." Well, this job was beyond my capability as no matter how much I messed with it, I could not get the wheels to true, and eventually just gave up. So, I thought just maybe, the guys down at Schellers could take a stab at it and maybe at least get it rideable. I took the bike to the shop and explained the situation. I suggested that if they could just get the wheels close to true and make it rideable, my daughter would be happy. They confidently said the could definitely improve on the situation, so I handed it over. A couple of days later, my son-in-law picked up to find that the wheels were almost perfect and they didn't charge an arm and a leg. I know it couldn't have been easy and they must have put a lot of time and effort into it. I'm so thankful. In the end, my daughter still had a great deal on a discount store bike and is now pulling my two beautiful grandsons around the neighborhood in their bike trailer. Thank you Schellers!!

I really haven't had better customer service in a bike shop like this before. I bought my last bike here and it was a steal. Clearance price and it was exactly what I wanted. I ride a lot and any time I need something done, they fix it super fast and I hardly ever have to leave it overnight. They just handle it. The showroom is super nice and clean. Everything is displayed very well and clearly priced. This is to me, is a premium and tailored store. I feel that my needs are met every time at a fair price considering the quality. Some of the bikes are SUPER expensive, but they have affordable options as well. Anywhere from just a few hundred to thousands if you really want to treat yourself. Parking is terrible on most occasions, so you may have to circle the block a few times. Totally worth it. Pro tip::: Knock on the back door if you happen to get a spot behind the store. They will let you in there too. Get riding!
