Getting off the elevator on the second floor is very nice. The lobby up is is very well decorated with the open foyer. The atmosphere was nice, laid back and very quiet. The doctors office was neatly decorated, clean and had that comfortable feel with great chairs for sitting. The examination rooms were not to small but not super huge. The doctor came in right after the nurse did the vitals and everything. I really appreciated that the wait time was not long at all. I love the fact that they are respectful of your time. Dr.Raja was informative, polite, honest and sit to us straight. We loved the fact that he's a humbled man who is very gracious and kind. He explained all the details about the upcoming surgery; giving us all the pros and cons. We felt at ease and confident about him performing the surgery Kenn needs on next Friday.

Unfortunately, I had to return three separate times just to get treated properly. The biggest issue is follow-up. They are extremely poor at communicating lab results. I repeatedly called the front desk to ask about results or next steps, but information was never disclosed and callbacks never happened. Because of this lack of follow-up, I was forced to keep returning in person. Nothing from my visits or lab results appeared to be documented in my account, so each visit felt like starting from scratch. Providers had no clear record of prior visits, and prescriptions were not provided because results weren't available or accessible. Overall, the lack of communication, documentation, and follow-through made this a frustrating experience, especially for someone without an established PCP. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

The doctor and nurses were very warm and knowledgeable; taking the time to thoroughly explain, diagnose, and provide a treatment plan for my teenaged athlete. Dr. Joglekar came into the room pretty quickly and took a lot of time to go over my complex history. I won't sugar coat it she didn't give me the warm fuzzies. She called out a medication change and seemed to be vigilant in sending needed tests out for me. I never felt rushed. I was slightly intimated by her demeanor but I think she's just confident in her work and knowledge. I am going to follow up on her advice and suggestions and see her again. I did appreciate her thoroughness and time spent with me. Just know you may not get a super over friendly doc if that's what your looking for. But Gupta told me she wasn't involved in any data checking or appointment decision making until I went to ER. She said it was all on the nurse practitioner. - What?! Why?! She said it was strange I was scheduled at week 11. It's usually week 8. - Whose responsibility?! Who's bearing the consequences? I asked her how I know if there was ever a fetal pole or not, she said "ya we don't know." 2) the nurse practitioner, Mahnaz, just kept telling me even an earlier sonogram wouldn't make any change to the result. - what about the data for me to know what actually happened? At the end, she just told me "I need to go to see my patient. You can talk to the office manager because you and I are not getting anywhere!" He is very matter-of-fact and practical during pregnancy and prenatal care. His office doesn't suggest excessive scans or testing that are not necessary for appropriate updates on baby's growth and development. I've always felt confident and comfortable under his care. I will say where he really shone was during delivery. My water broke but I was not in active labor so I was on the clock for a VBAC. He involved me in the decision-making process where he suggested a double balloon foley and Pitocin (miserable but effective), and he helped me achieve a VBAC with my giant baby boy, calmly managing several situations (including shoulder dystocia) that would qualify as obstetric emergencies. Once my son was delivered safely, he was cracking jokes right away and I thought all went by the book! It was only after speaking with my husband and my physician father-in-law (where he said "that is one amazing doctor if he made all of that seem normal!") that I realized his calm confidence, composure, and clinical decision-making had such an impact on the situation. We've since relocated about 4 hours away and I am pregnant with #3. As a testament to his skills and my level of belief and comfort in him, I've been traveling up to Dallas for prenatal visits. I have even considered inducing to be sure he delivers our next baby. Unfortunately we will have to look more locally, especially since it's #3, but I would go with Dr. Downey again in a heartbeat and trust him implicitly. It is much larger than the old North Garland facility with what looks to be an emergency center in part of the building. After circling one time to get my bearings of where the clinic area was located I entered. I should say the reason I've stayed with Baylor all these years is personal, friendly service and diagnostic advanced care. So it was good to know progress and growth had not dampened those attributes, but as one should expect- made positive strides in my opinion to advance both service and care with a bit more speed. Being employed in tech I immediately appreciate their use of new "stuff", from the Phone app to the gear they employ for even my simple checkup. Nothing like speed when your waiting on the numbers! Service- It's a big place but after determining where clinic was from the entryway shingle, I was greeted warmly and escorted to the area where my new doctor served. Short wait- very good first visit with "new" Dr- some diagnostic tech and I'm done. While I was out in under 1 hr, even with a meet/greet the new doctor, I felt very good about the visit and Baylor. This was a Friday the 13th visit but I had some lab results on Saturday via the Baylor app and full results with Doctor recommendations Sunday evening. Pleased to say the least - 5/5!

However, BSW is now adding an extra $300 "Hospital Facility Fee" to every doctor visit. My last doctor visit was $300 to see the doctor, $150 for blood tests done in the dr office, and a $300 Hospital Fee. $750 for a single office visit. Baylor is "nonprofit" in the same way the Epstein Class are "taxpayers". (Their CEO made 10 million dollars last year, and nobody on the board was paid less than a million. So...)

I had been dealing with chronic pain about 6 months after I delivered my first daughter (with another OB) and was brushed off for so many years about it. It became debilitating, impacting everything from my work to my personal life. Dr Culpepper genuinely listened to me and more importantly...BELIEVED THAT I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY BODY. I don't know why women's healthcare can be such an awful experience but she really turned it around for me. I've gone through a few surgeries with her and she delivered my youngest daughter. It was the most amazing experience (shout out to Medical City too, total princess treatment!). Dr. Culpepper, even if referencing notes, always comes across as someone who genuinely cares, not just someone doing a job. She's in the right field, and it shows.
