He is THE absolute best and I have not one thing negative to speak about regarding his care for his patients. However, the front office staff, Hayley to be exact. Is very rude and unprofessional. I utilized the text messaging services to request a refill on a non habit forming prescription. She informed me that "in order to get that request sent over to Dr. Skinner to review, I must make at least a $75 payment. We spoke about this in the last text message refill request. This is absolutely unacceptable even if there was a balance. I have an upcoming appointment scheduled with Dr. Skinner via telehealth and informed Hayley of that I would make a payment at that time. I also asked if she would have the office manager call me via text message. After 3 hours and no response back, I finally took off work to speak to someone in person. I spoke with Macey and she basically said "Oh yeah, she told me about it, I haven't had the time to call you back but I was going to at the end of my day." It would have been nice if I received that bit of information via text. It's like pulling teeth just to get a refill! It's absurd. I love Dr. Skinner, the NP and the other staff. It's harassment if you ask me of Hayley's actions.I informed Macy, the office manager that I would be leaving a review and informing Dr. Skinner at my upcoming appointment. From now on, I will be scheduling telehealth visits until I find another PCP. Just know Dr. Skinner, you could be losing patients due to the communication going on at your front desk or the lack thereof. It's just so frustrating! It shouldn't be this hard!
