Dr. Cantrell has performed multiple knee surgeries for me as well as a shoulder surgery, and every single time the results have been outstanding. His skill, precision, and consistency are truly remarkable. What really sets Dr. Cantrell apart is the way he listens. He takes his time at every appointment, explains everything clearly, and always works to find the best possible approach for each specific situation. You never feel rushed, and you always feel heard and confident in the plan moving forward. The staff is just as exceptional. Dr. Shawn reviewed my scans with me right away and broke down everything so I could really understand the inflammation in my body. Dr. Shawn uncovered the root to my headaches and pressure in my sinuses- teeth grinding as shown in the inflammation of my jaw on the scan. It was a huge light bulb moment! I also learned that my thyroid was under active, which explains my unusual weight gain. What I really loved is that Dr. Shawn was not trying to sell me on any of his treatments or even suggest any supplement he was selling, he just guided me on what remedies I could benefit from. He truly cares about patient's total health, and not just taking their money. I am so happy to have found WBHC, and I will absolutely have yearly thermography done here!

My wife had her annual appointment here in January. She checked the self pay rate before scheduling…read moresince we were paying cash. Before she left, she paid the entire bill. A few weeks went by and we started receiving bills from Quest diagnostics. The bills were not small. She called Quest who told her she had to speak with Lifestream. She spoke with Lifestream who told her she should not be receiving a bill because she paid in full. We continued to get bills. Every month we repeated the same dance. Every month we were told we shouldn't be receiving a bill. She messaged Susan Harris herself who assured us she would personally take care of this. It's the very end of June and we received yet another bill saying it is past due. This isn't rocket science, it's not even as difficult as traditional medical billing where you have to go back and forth with insurance to get paid. This was a cash payment. Simple. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If they can't handle something as simple as a cash payment, I'm not sure how they could even begin to handle the complexities of treating patients. My wife and I are so disappointed in the lack of care we have received from this office.

Dr. Broadnax is by far THE best pain management doctors I have EVER been to. I am so happy my…read morejourney ends here with Advanced Pain Institute of Texas. Somewhat new to Texas, I have struggled over the last year with finding someone I can put my absolute trust in. From the very first appointment, we had an immediate action plan. I have made more progress in the last 3 months than I've had in 6 years. Living in pain is scary, frustrating, and debilitating. I have seen exactly 4 pain management doctors here in Texas and Dr. B is the one I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone struggling with pain. He is one of the kindest and most intelligent doctors I have ever met. He is patient, understanding, and is a very attentive listener. Always smiling, never judging, I feel safe with Dr. B. I can't say I've ever felt as safe as I do or trusted a pain management doctor the way I do with Dr. B. He is open and honest and doesn't dance around anything. His bed side manner truly is a class act. It is always a pleasant experience from check in to check out. Ashley is always smiling and ridiculously pleasant. His MA Tony, is phenomenal. He is very easy to speak with, get a hold of, is very thorough, and quite frankly makes me smile even when I'm wanting to cry. Both of them do- Dr. B and Tony. They make a really great team. In my 40 years, I've never met a more competent & efficient MA. I'm no longer scared to leave an appointment feeling like I'm missing something and will have to wait until my next appointment to address it. I have struggled greatly in the past with MAs who have lacked knowledge, a sense of urgency, understanding, or had very poor follow up. Not Tony. No Sir. He is on it!! Best MA award goes to Tony. Dr. B has come to us from Chicago as a highly respected doctor. And the mere fact that Tony has joined Dr. Broadnax and Dr. Anderson on their journey here to Texas is not only a testament to the depth of their teamwork but is also a testament of their trust in each other. Which is then genuinely felt by myself, the patient. So if you are a patient like a was; feeling lost, not quite sure what to do, feeling like your pain is your destiny, convinced this is how you're going to have to live the rest of your life, running into oddball pain management doctors who don't seem to listen, want to try experimental injections on you, or just bandaid the pain with medication, please stop and make an appointment. There IS hope and there truly are good doctors in this state. Dr. Broadnax & his partner, Dr. Eric Anderson have blessed Texas by coming here from Chicago. I feel bad for the patients they had to leave behind. But they are both highly educated and intelligent individuals who know how to treat their patients like humans and with kindness.

I called 4 different t times to get details and next steps so I can start my road to recovery. No call backs or a sense of urgency. She just said okay and hung up. Two of the times I called, there were roosters and barking in the background so I know their scheduling is working remote. Not a good idea with the service and whoever is doing the follow ups. I want to reach out to the doctor so he knows about his staff but I can't get a hold of him without going through the front desk.
