She has now completed her 14th session, and our family could not be more grateful for the exceptional care she has received. From the very first phone calls with Dr. Myers, Ms. Terzia, and Ms. Heather, the level of professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness has been remarkable. Ms. Heather, in particular, has consistently exceeded our expectations. She treats my mother--and our entire family--with genuine warmth and hospitality, going well above and beyond her duties as a technologist. Ms. Heather's expertise is evident, and she takes great care to ensure my mother is comfortable and at ease throughout each 90-minute treatment. With four grandchildren who alternate picking my mother up after her sessions, Ms. Heather has been unfailingly kind and welcoming to every one of them. She keeps me informed of my mother's condition before and after each session and even updates me when my mother and the grandchild driving her are on their way home. This level of communication and care is rare, and it has provided our family with tremendous peace of mind. Beyond the outstanding service, the hyperbaric treatment itself has been truly instrumental in my mother's healing. We consider it nothing short of a saving grace. We are deeply appreciative of the entire team at Willow Bend Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and we wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone in need of compassionate, high-quality care.

The problem I have, hence the reason for two stars off, is the staff. Every time I need a prescription, or a referral, or anything, I always have to follow up because they don't do it. So many times I've been in need for a prescription or a refill, and had to go days without it simply because they forgot to call it in. It's an ongoing issue. What's particularly upsetting is when I have to endure the medical symptoms I take the medication for, because they didn't send it in. And knowing that this always happens, I will call ahead of time and send follow up reminders, sometimes multiple times just to avoid this problem. But it still happens anyways! It is so frustrating!!! I've considered leaving for this reason. But I love Dr. Skinner so much, I hesitate. I wish that they could fix this problem.

Good afternoon to all. First, I would like to express that I absolutely adore Dr. Skinner and his…read morepractice since I moved to Texas going on 11 years now. He is THE absolute best and I have not one thing negative to speak about regarding his care for his patients. However, the front office staff, Hayley to be exact. Is very rude and unprofessional. I utilized the text messaging services to request a refill on a non habit forming prescription. She informed me that "in order to get that request sent over to Dr. Skinner to review, I must make at least a $75 payment. We spoke about this in the last text message refill request. This is absolutely unacceptable even if there was a balance. I have an upcoming appointment scheduled with Dr. Skinner via telehealth and informed Hayley of that I would make a payment at that time. I also asked if she would have the office manager call me via text message. After 3 hours and no response back, I finally took off work to speak to someone in person. I spoke with Macey and she basically said "Oh yeah, she told me about it, I haven't had the time to call you back but I was going to at the end of my day." It would have been nice if I received that bit of information via text. It's like pulling teeth just to get a refill! It's absurd. I love Dr. Skinner, the NP and the other staff. It's harassment if you ask me of Hayley's actions.I informed Macy, the office manager that I would be leaving a review and informing Dr. Skinner at my upcoming appointment. From now on, I will be scheduling telehealth visits until I find another PCP. Just know Dr. Skinner, you could be losing patients due to the communication going on at your front desk or the lack thereof. It's just so frustrating! It shouldn't be this hard! Please see below the text message thread. As I walked out she smirked as if I didn't matter. My voice matters and I matter.

When I requested a refund for the overpayment the office gave me the run around and outright lied to me several times about what insurance covered. And, they will tell you that they have to keep your credit card on file. After my first 2 visits when I didn't return they called me saying I owed them over $200 more! Additionally, Chang Lee lacked professionalism during my first visit when he seemed very hyper and laughed numerous times as I discussed my symptoms. I overlooked this at the time but thought very inappropriate and almost did not return for a second visit. But I decided to give him a second try. It was after the second visit that I decided this was not the acupuncturist I wanted to see and now I know my intuition was correct. Very unprofessional front desk. Very bad billing practices. I spent an inordinate amount of time going through insurance records and trying to "prove" a refund was due only to have the office manager argue with me each time, even though I emailed copies of the insurance records. Both visits they asked for me to pay a higher amount than my copay, which I did, then asked for me to pay for X-rays saying insurance company usually doesn't pay, so I did. Then my insurance company paid for all. When I emailed screenshots from the insurance company I got no reply so I sent another email and asked for a response and here is what I got: "Due to not cooperating with us in answering our calls we will not discuss this on email. This terms should be discuss in a proper manner. When you are able to discuss it with us you are more than welcome to call our office at the number below. In our office we take great pride in the services we render to our patients. There was no proper discussion so they will be no final decision." Seriously??? What professional doctor's office sends an email like that??? First, I had no idea they called because they didn't leave a message. Second, why couldn't they just respond to my email? When I called and asked the office manager why she didn't leave a message she lied and said my voicemail box was full. It's never been full and I checked again and it wasn't. There are too many professional and better acupuncturists and functional medicine practitioners in Dallas where this kind of nonsense doesn't happen. Save yourself the hassle and take your business elsewhere.
