As a middle aged gay couple, who have to move a lot for work, we've seen some irritating behavior. Shauna, however, was welcoming, and really listened to what we needed. We didn't even look at another place because she was so amazing. It's the fastest we've found an apartment in over two decades. We had to take the apartment sight unseen, but mostly because of Shauna's excellent reassurances. She assured us the apartment was good, vermin free, and recently renovated. We got a one bedroom near the office, and it was clean, and the kitchen had been redone recently. It was everything Shauna said, and we felt we got exactly what we were looking for. The Woodcliffe has several amenities that really sold it for us. The office takes packages, for a yearly nominal fee. We live off of Amazon, so that was a necessity. There is a pool, a hot tub, and a decent workout room. (The workout room is usually dead empty except for the beginning of January.) We also discovered the office and maintenance staff are fantastic. We've had to get the tub snaked, and the garbage disposal looked at, and everyone that works here has been fast and super courteous. My only real caveat is the rent is upped every year. We stayed despite that, but know it will probably be upped again. None of the staff have any control over it, as it's a management decision.

You can look at my profile & see I very rarely post a review This review is based off of our experience living in unit O103 from Nov 2021 - Jul 2024 We moved from out of state for work, & when we arrived we did the final paperwork & grabbed our keys. When we walked in, the place was disgusting. They had laid down new carpet but other than that the place was FILTHY & A LOT of things broken. The carpet wasn't fully laid yet. We were paying for an "upgraded apartment" LOL so there was supposed to be laminate in the main room, & when we asked they said that this was the "upgraded" apartment They gave us 3 days off rent-which we had to fight for a few more days because of the major inconvenience (out of state move). We couldn't stay in the apartment until it was livable. We gave them a week with us out, & when we returned, while mostly cleaner, there were still SO many things broken! we initially grabbed our keys a week AFTER our lease started, giving them extra time to fix it up. From the moment we moved in everyone in the office was wayyy less friendly than when trying to get you to sign a lease with them. the washing machine didn't properly wash clothes the first full year even with multiple maintenance requests until one of the more competent maintenance people caught the issue. Gross. Many of our clothes got mystery stains on them after "washing" in the broken machine and had to get rid of them. There was a plumbing issue in our building that left sewage in both of the bath tubs, sinks, seeping out of the floors, ect. We had to tell them they missed our apartment & they almost didn't fix ours that night bc the leasing office did not let maintenance know our apt was also compromised. They LEFT the sewage without cleaning it all weekend, and when we told the leasing office the following week when we were back in town, they basically said "Oopsies, we'll make a note." we paid for cleaning services out of pocket. Absolutely gross and unsanitary. MOLD. All over the apartment. No matter how often we wiped with vinegar & bleach, left windows open, had dehumidifiers, left our fans on (which is hilarious they don't turn off bc of how gross the place is) - there was mold in pretty much every corner growing on walls & windows. We did put in a request and they told us it was just dirt! insane when there's plenty of pictures & it's obvious that it's mold. They basically scrape what they can & paint over it. Disgusting. Kimberly did an initial move out walk thru & told us she would not nickel and dime us of our experience, & that our carpet was in good shape compared to other units. they only offered us $515 back from our prorated July rent AND our security deposit bc they replaced part of the carpet - after they had us pay to have the carpet professionally cleaned ($300). Part of the charge out of our deposit was to pay for more cleaning, and when that "didn't work" they replaced part of the carpet. We already paid for that cleaning. They had a professional receipt. It's not about the money-it's the fact they should have done the right thing after our experience. We avoided writing a bad review while living there in fear of big rent spikes & not getting our deposit back - We might as well have left the apt in the condition we found it (we left it extremely clean minus the mold we found which is much more than they can say they did for us). We noticed some positive reviews from current tenants last year all at the same time & wonder if the office offered them a special discount for a positive review. In my new search made sure to not check out their other Seattle area property. We considered staying again bc we do like the location, but so happy we chose to not put up with this place another year. There were other things we could list but you get it. If you can swing a little bit more in rent it's worth it to avoid this gross place.

You can can easily walk to the movie theater, Safeway, Mod Pizza, and Mud Bay. You can also catch the bus close by, catch an Uber in under 10 minutes every time, or book a Metro Flex car. From the moment I moved in, I have been consistently impressed by the level of service and the welcoming atmosphere that defines this place. I've lived at a lot of other apartments but always felt most of the staff didn't care who you were. We feel like they care at this property. The amenities are top-notch. The pool is one of the nicest apartment pools I've ever been in. They keep the water and the surrounding poolside areas impressively clean. There's even a little sundeck off the back side of the pool. It's been nice during the summer to sit in the sun and just chat with other mom friend neighbors. They also keep this property very clean and they maintain the grounds consistently. So consistently that I know exactly which day of the week the leaf blowers are coming. To be honest, my only complaint about the property is the leafblower noise. Lol. I know they're just trying to keep this place looking beautiful though. I'd much rather have a little noise for one morning per week than live on a dumpy, run down property. My guests are always impressed at how nice the plants, flowers, and trees are here. The apartments are large and have some of the best up-to-date interiors. There are so many units on this property but you never feel "boxed in" at all. What truly sets this community apart though are the people who keep it running, particularly Lili. Lili's attention to detail is evident in every aspect of her work. She goes above and beyond to ensure that people's needs here are met promptly and efficiently. Whenever I've had a question, I've been able to contact her and she never treats me like I'm a burden, no matter how inane my question is. She's prompt at emailing and calling you back too. There's a newer woman working in the office, Kaylee (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) and she's been very kind and professional every time I've had to drop off paperwork or stop in to ask someone in the office when the rooftop deck is open (because I love it up there but I always forget when it's open...) I really like the office and maintenance staff here. They all give the sense that they care about the people in the community. If you see any of them out on the property, they always say hi. You don't get treated like you're "just another resident". Most other apartment "communities" I've lived in didn't seem very community-like. People wouldn't stay long and you never knew your neighbors. This place is different in that people stay here for years. You don't feel like you're living in a cookie-cutter apartment building. She got promoted and moved out of state for one of their other locations and the staff was subpar/took a lot personally than handling business, with the exception of some of the maintenance staff and Kristin was consistently cool. Renewing your lease over certain amount of years they try to offer retention incentives, like carpet cleaning and/or cleaning of your bathroom or moving to another unit without paying extra. Moving out is fairly straightforward and if you do a good job cleaning up, you will get your deposit back. I was so thrilled with my unit. Gym and pool area is really nice and so close to all the attractions within the Landing, Boeing headquarters, the 405 and 5, SeaTac, and during summer training season. Plenty of space within the unit compared to most places in downtown Seattle and parking is about 50 a month in the resident parking area (although my car did get broken into after multiple break ins in other vehicles in the garage & i had rats in the engine on another occasion- they do not keep it clean out there in the garage!). Be aware of hidden fees (valet trash but it does not get picked up near your door w the staffs shifts & the trash in the chutes) and things not getting fixed like the security gate or one of the elevators were never fixed due to a part they somehow never received in for at least a year). I also entered a ticket 7 times to get my washer/dryer replaced and it still takes multiple cycles to dry. Hopefully the safety and security has improved since I left, and no one is pulling the alarm from the street every so often even the fire department and people got tired of responding. They also tow cars they shouldn't and dont on the ones they should..the ones who enforce it dont even check the facts and incriminate everyone. Also make sure you are courteous to those who deliver your groceries to you: dont leave them without any instructions in a place like this!

We…read morewere sold on this place because we have 3 small dogs and A LOT of places will NOT accept our bundle of dogs. Also, all utilities included!? YES! Cable, Lights, Gas, Sewer, Trash and Water! GREAT DEAL! So we were paying $1300 for a small hotel room. Since we know this was going to be temporary it was good that they had short term leases. 9 months lease would get you a free month to use anytime you wanted. The kitchen has a dishwasher, two electric burners and microwave. No oven. We had to purchase an air fryer and keep it on the counter so we could bake and fry food. You get a small hotel closet so don't bring a lot of clothes. All we could fit in the room was our queen size bed. No tub, just a shower and a small shelf over the toilet for toiletries. There is a TV installed as well so you don't have to bring your own. The fridge is very small as well so you can't really stock up on a lot of food and items. The laundry room could get quite expensive. $2.25 a wash and $1.75 a dryer. There is only 4 washers and 4 dryers. I usually end up spending $40 a month on laundry between me and my husband. PEOPLE WILL MOVE AND TOUCH YOUR LAUNDRY! There was a time where 3 washers were open and they took my clothes out of the front facing washer and threw them into a empty washer! Why!? There is 3 other washers open! If there is no dryers available, what do I do with wet clothes!? Leave them on a table in there and wet everything? Inconsiderate people.. I even caught the lady doing it because I watched her do it to someone else's clothes. You have some people in the building that are cool, like some neighbors around us.. I also notice they have NO thief problem. I never heard or saw anyones packages get stolen or taken. They have a fitness room, game room, theater room, and computer room. We didn't use them. We rather Catalina Community had a dog playground area so we could let our dogs run because the parks are 7 to 10 minutes away. Be aware, you have some dog parents that don't clean up after their dogs so you might have some poop to watch out for in the grass. Also be careful of wildlife, we heard coyotes howling behind the fence in the woods. Other than that, if you just need a quick place to stay it aint so bad. It should be just a temporary stay but some people here have stayed here for years! I don't know how they do it. I need much more space!! Lol

They ended up keeping my $300 security deposit and telling me that I still owed them almost $500 and sent me to a debt collector. Although I knew they were lying about damages i begrudgingly paid it because I knew it would cost more to take them to court. Well, almost two and a half years later, they have charged me AGAIN with a different debt collector and a hefty interest charge like I never paid it. Please beware, this place is not only incredibly greedy, they're also a mess. If you're thinking about renting here due to the price, remember, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned for me. They've been causing me stress for the past four years and counting. P.S. There was one good thing about Pinewood Village.
