So this is a food truck/really a trailer and the menu is limited, but what we got was really good. First time we got the brisket tacos. They handmake everything and fry the shells up in front of you. Good portion. They do something a little different with their taco shells - they add seasoning to the shells - think it was chili/lime and it was delicious and gave a little extra zip to them. Second time back and we tried the Gorditas. Good sized also. Shell is very flavorful. I would have liked a bit more meat in mine, but still very good. Prices were also pretty reasonable. You have to check their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tpvalenz/ to know where they are going to be parked at. Definitely worth a try.

So we tried the truck because we had been planning to try the restaurant, before it closed. The truck regularly parks in front of LC City Hall at 896 N Main St. They are near the grass, and usually have a fold up table or two with chairs under a tree. The service is excellent, friendly and personable. The food is just... ok. There's not a lot to say other than that. It wasn't tdf, or bursting with flavor, it was just ok. I had a carne asada bowl. The worst carne asada I'd ever had. I mean, it wasn't bad or anything... just not good. It was dry, and tasteless. Like it wasn't marinated or spiced, or anything. It was edible, just not great. I wouldn't drive across town - again - to try it, but I would certainly eat there if I was working in the area and had to have something nearby to eat, 100%. The food was fresh, "clean" (no artificial junk or nasty bits), and "good enough".
