I had the Rock, the award winning burger with pineapple and ham I wish I could have ordered everything on the menu!! The burger was DELICIOUS! My friend got the chorizo torta and it was just the right amount of heat and flavor. My husband got the Blue Demon, chicken tacos and asada tacos, all perfection. I can't wait to come back!!!

We had the Lucha tacos de Asada and the Rocky Star Burger and they were both amazing! 5 stars for sure!

Best asada tacos the food taste fresh and the staff are friendly. For $7 I got the 4 small carne asada tacos with lime, cilantro and a spicy red salsa. Don't forget to order agua frescas fruit drinks. Sandia (watermelon) is my favorite.

Visited the truck at Sweet Fest. Had watermelon & limon frescas. Delicious. Went for the bacon burgers but were disappointed. The meat was Very undercooked, to the point that the center was cold, shiny and soft. Neither burger was eaten and we stopped for drive through in the way home. Whataburger gets it right.

Found Luchador at the local food truck gathering while in town for work. Authentic Mexican from a old Winnebago...what more could you ask for? I felt bad for the other food trucks...but not bad enough to pass on Luchador. I went with the tacos and homemade lemonade. I was stuffed for only $10.

Luchador catered a family event for ~40 ppl for us in February 2023. Ivan worked with me on the menu creating options that would suit a variety of dietary needs that filled our bellies and warmed our hearts. EVERYONE was so complimentary of the food - the brisket was fabulous, the salad was just right and the salsa was SPICY! Everything was perfect. Muchas Gracias! I will definitely seek out Luchador the next time I'm in Las Cruces! read more

I love the tacos, and I love the theme of this food truck! The seasoning was spectacular. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is definitely a restaurant you want to try. I love how they called out each order based on a card with a phrase on it. For instance, when you place an order they had you a card with a specific catch phrase on it like, "el mundo". Once your order is ready they yell out, "El Mundo.." and you have to yell it back out to them lol It was cute! Also, the hot salsa sauce was to die for! I would definitely try this place out again. read more

I usually catch these guys at the farmer's market on Saturdays. Their posole sample is delicious, but the first time I ate their food I had a carne asada quesadilla and it was GOOD! Yesterday, my husband and I stood in a short line and it was well worth the wait. My husband had THE ROCK burger. The ham and pineapple with the beef was awesome...even the greens and tomatoes were fresh. The bun didn't get soggy and was toasted. I had the Rey Mysterio chicken tacos. The chicken was grilled perfectly, along with the onions and green peppers. Their salsa is not only hot/spicy, but has tons of flavor! Their prices are reasonable, so if you see them out, grab a bite! read more

Great food! We catered our son's baptism for 50 people with taco plates carne asada, pork carnitas, rice and beans with Aguas frescas and salsa bar. They arrived on time, food ready and delicious as promised. Packed up the remaining food, salsas and aguas left over. Great service, food & experience overall. Definitely use them again in the future. read more

If I could eat here everyday I would! The tacos, the enchiladas, they put their own spin on them and everything they make is amazing! We loved it so much we had them cater our wedding reception! Our whole party was blown away, I just wish I had had time to eat more of it. Can't wait to come back to eat here when we are in town again! read more

This place us legit! We go eat at least once a week on Wednesdays or Saturdays when they're at the Farmer's Market. There are so many options I don't get tired of this place. The food is fresh and customer service is equally great. read more

We were lucky enough to have The Luchador Food Truck during the Latinx Heritage Month closing event: "Nuestra Lucha" and we have to say, they delivered a knockout punch of flavor! and for 200 people! This wasn't just a meal; it was a festive celebration, and the energy around the truck was fantastic. The tacos de asada were perfectly prepared, tender, juicy, and seasoned exactly right. You could tell the beef was high-quality and cooked with care. But the real star of the show was the tacos al pastor. They had the perfect balance of savor, with that hint of sweet acidity from the pineapple. The best tacos al pastor I've have had from a food truck! If you see The Luchador Food Truck around town, do yourself a favor and stop by. They are celebrating culture and flavor with every serving. Highly recommend them, they were at our place on time, delivered the food fast, and warm. And the service was great! read more
