As my wife and I were waiting to order, the couple waiting for their order were absolutely raving about the tacos. I was getting excited. The truck serves "street tacos." They are on the small side, and an order of three will set you back about $10, depending on what kind you order. Everything is house made. My wife and I ordered an assortment, sampling both salsas, red and green. Everything tasted the same. Not bad, mind you, but not worth raving over. The street corn seemed like it was steamed or boiled instead of grilled, but I've seen photos on their Facebook page showing that it is grilled, so I don't know. They didn't have guacamole at the time, but I understand they have since added it. They've also added nachos, which I haven't tried. My wife isn't interested in going back, but I want to give it another try. I liked it better than Chihuahua's or Dos Primos. The tacos were a little better than the ones at Honey Badger Grill. They visit Troy on Tuesdays and go to Winfield on Wednesdays. They've also started showing up in Wright City, but I'm not sure of the day. Check out their Facebook page for the details.

I suggest asking what is homemade and what isn't so this can help you decide as not all is homemade. We had the cowboy nachos, Mac n cheese and pulled pork with baked beans! Second time I got the sweet potato tacos. Both times I got the side of tots, which they give you a huge portion of. I've enjoyed everything I've order so far. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, and while I can't speak to the speed during their busy times (I've always come on off hours) I always got my order quickly. The restaurant is part of a strip mall with savers and there's plenty of parking (at least during non-peak hours). I've been following the truck Norris saga since their closure and reopening and I wish them lots of success!

Golden Brew Coffee Truck has been at the St. Charles County Fair the last couple years. Before…read moreheading to the fair this year, I checked out their Facebook menu, and everything looked so good that I knew choosing just one drink was going to be difficult. When I got there, the line was short, so I had a chance to chat with the ladies working the truck. They were incredibly friendly and happy to answer my questions. While they didn't have their dirty sodas or smoothies available at the fair, they had their full lineup of coffee drinks. I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I asked for a chai recommendation. They suggested the Oatmeal Cream Pie Chai with cold foam, white chocolate, and caramel, and I'm so glad I took their advice because it was delicious! What I appreciated most was that it wasn't overly sweet. A lot of specialty drinks from larger coffee chains can be so sugary that it's hard to taste anything else, but this one was perfectly balanced. It had plenty of flavor without being overpowering, making it easy to enjoy from the first sip to the last. The prices were comparable to what you'd expect from other coffee shops, but the quality, friendly service, and personalized recommendations made the experience even better. Overall, I'd give Golden Brew Coffee Truck a 10 out of 10. Great drinks, wonderful customer service, and a business I'll definitely be supporting again whenever I get the chance.

I hired someone to avoid having to worry, but then I spent my evening very upset. He did not offer my money back so I asked him to either provide me with what I paid or give me my money back. We compromised and he sent someone else with a a couple of wines and a couple bottles of each liquor. It worked out but was way, way to expensive for how little I had at my party. I was expecting so much more for the price I paid. The bartender was very nice and did a great job. I realize things happen out of the owner's control, but upsetting me and asking me what I am going to do was very unprofessional.

My other coworker got a burrito and it stated on the menu that it has chorizo and his "all about the heat". She said there was no heat at all. And was quite bland. The "queso" was like canned nacho cheese with chunky salsa mixed into it. The Mexican slaw - not sure how Mexican it is- but it was super tasty. That is what gives them 2 stars.
