Beautiful view of the skyline from here. It's always nice even when the weather isn't nice. Williamsburg has all of those cool hipster bars and restaurants, but it also has a cool Waterfront. People like jogging or taking selfies on the piers. There's a ferry that goes across the East River. Here there's also pretty big concerts. It gets crowded at the festivals in the summer. There's been some pretty popular rock bands here, as well as the not as well known hipster folksy stuff. It's more enjoyable when there's not any of that going on. The music can be good, often bad, but it's always nice being able to enjoy the beauty and skyline. It also has a good view of the bridge. This isn't that far from it so you can access this park from it. It also has a ferry. It takes you to Manhattan. The East River Ferry is of course more expensive than just taking a subway.

Beautiful, gorgeous, and calming is what comes to mind when I visit this waterfront. Views of the water are just relaxing and distressing. I love that they keep this area clean and there are not a lot of "undesirables" hanging out in the park. There are some cool art pieces and tons of places to sit and chill. They have the ferry that transports you across to Manhattan. I was able to find street parking in the area. There were some nice spots to get some food, drinks or ice cream. This waterfront area is great for people of all ages and definitely a place to check out.

Still a good spot to take a walk and enjoy Manhattan view skyline!, Jump at NYC ferry and cross to Manhattan or either ride all over the East River! Back to back. Ride on The NYC ferry it's the best. Peaceful place for me to be watching NYC skyline. Highly recommended

I love to travel by ferry. I took my fog once and this is his second time. He a bit nervous but im glad he will be able to go with me. This is another thing I love NYC because it is so many transportation to go to Manhattan. It use to have a staff on a port but during COVID 19 is no one.

East River getting a facelift. With all new parks growing up on Brooklyn side, greener future is emerging. Environmentally friendly development spanning from Red Hook Parks and Piers, to Brooklyn Waterfront Piers to Brooklyn Heights Promenade - and to Williamsburg Waterfront. Some parts are still under development, but it is still impressive - modern, clean, beautiful, with views of Manhattan and nearest bridges that will make tourists and locals alike run for the cameras. Trees, flowers, grass, paved areas, walkways, benches, piers and cool structures... Lots of people-watching, dog-walking, running and just strolling by going on. There is also Water Taxi, or East River Ferry Service (or whatever it called now, you get the point) - very convenient. Call your friends over, take your dog for a run, grab an ice cream from nearby shop, walk to the pier and enjoy it all!

All I can say is amazing! The scenery is breath taking. Views of the water with Manhattan as the backdrop can have you snapping photo after photo. I could not get enough. This can be a great place to go to sit and relax and listen to the water splash against the rocks. There is plenty of seating. This waterfront is dog friendly so you will see people strolling along the boardwalk enjoying the scenery with their furry little friends.

Most outdoor venues in NY City are good. The Williamsburg Waterfront is exceptional for several reasons. Easy to reach by public transit; if you drive, the surrounding streets actually have parking available (un-metered as pointed out by another Yelper). Many places within a short walk to grab dinner or a drink. Not certain how many tickets are released for shows here; the crowd was very manageable at this show, no arena crowd madness. Oh BTW, there are no seats, general admission standing. Best of all, this venue has Manhattan as a backdrop.Sound quality was very good; another benefit of "open air". Just saw Belle and Sebastian on a perfect evening, the setting made the performance even better! . . .and we were not swept away by a tornado.

View from the stage.

This past weekend we attended the Keane Concert with Ingrid Michaelson and Fran Healy from Travis at the Williamsburg Waterfront. It was an awesome experience. Especially at night seeing the most beautiful skyline in the world before you. Music was great, location was great. I liked the fact that the alcohol was in a separate space so you could not have drunken fools spilling beer on you. Also, general admission makes it possible for Joe Blow to get good seats!

“The setting is beautiful - it's the perfect spot for a good view of midtown, and the East River manages to look quite nice as well.”

Jamie W and I were finishing up our cocktails at High Tide (review: https://yelp.to/47E8cyxeMd) when it dawned on us that we could take the ferry rather than the subway back to Manhattan. A smart decision indeed. It only cost us $4.50 per person to take us to the pier at East 34th Street. Just a year earlier, we boarded the Circle Line by paying the $70 Premium pass for exclusive access to the top deck for a carefully timed two-hour cruise. We enjoyed it, but considering the significant cost difference, this one was quite a deal. Not only was it a simple commute, but it was a genuine tourist attraction no one really talks about. Going straight to the upper deck, we were able to take in the stunning skylines of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Same as the Circle Line cruise, we traveled underneath the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges. At a relaxing pace, the ferry made three brief, interim Brooklyn stops: North and South Williamsburg and Greenpoint, and they offered alternative views we would've not seen otherwise. It was a four-hour delightful ride with plenty of food, drinks, sightseeing, and fresh air. Our guide, Andy, was fantastic. He had SO many facts about the city and everything we were seeing--and he was hilarious. Honestly, I think Andy could probably carry an entire conversation by himself if you stopped responding. He just keeps going! But in the best possible way. The themed drinks were a lot of fun. I had an apple cider mimosa, which felt very appropriate for a fall boat ride. They also had a special Oktoberfest mug for $45 that came with FREE REFILLS. My friends took advantage of that for the beer and cider, because apparently they understood the assignment. Food-wise, we shared a HUGE Bavarian pretzel and an apple cider donut. There were also larger food plates available for $16.50 if you wanted to make a whole meal of it. When we went, the leaves were just starting to change, so I can only imagine how gorgeous this ride will be once the colors really come in. I'm guessing mid-November could be spectacular. And PLEASE get upstairs. Take in the fresh air, let the sun hit your face, and actually enjoy those views. It makes the whole experience. Dress warmly, though! I was in a sweater, leggings, and boots and was definitely feeling the chill. And now for the public service announcement nobody asked for but everyone needs: THE BATHROOMS AREN'T SCARY. They actually have multiple stalls. They automatically flush. You will survive. Happy boating, sightseeing, drinking, eating, and aggressively looking at leaves! Would absolutely do this again.

On the day that we came, they had 2 ferries running. Both hold about 150- 200 seats. They do recommend coming about 45 minutes early . Also the ferry leaves the stadium 45 minutes after last out. As a baseball fan living down the shore, this is a great option. And yes we would do this again.

The salt water drying on the windows made it impossible to see out and it was too cold and windy to go up top. Why should we have to? We had windows seats. My wife was actually getting a headache trying to see past the blurriness. There were 4 of us. We did some homework on where to sit and got there early to be first inline, in an attempt to get the aft portside table. As we got our wristbands while waiting in line, a group of people lead by an employee, boarded ahead of us and 50 other people in line. And guess what? Yes, they got the table we got there early for. See photo. That sucks and unfair. Sea Streak didn't give a shit. There were some mild positives but they didn't cancel out the negatives. The "they serve you" buffet, (I got yelled out for grabbing the bacon tongs), had limited choices (no beef or seafood) tasted alright. The narrator was informative but when she pointed out structures off the port or starboard side, the passengers had to chuckle and sarcastically say "where" because again, we couldn't see anything through the windows. She was in a tough spot, trying to ignore the complaints about the windows. So frustrating for us because It wasn't cheap. Two couples $643.68, which includes a fuel tax and a 3% booking fee. What no service charge? Gee thanks. We saw a bunch of Circle line boats doing the same type tour. Try them instead. Avoid SeaStreak at all costs. You've been warned.
