The project was clearly over their head as Rob has miscalculated everything from how much time it would take (he scheduled 4 weeks, that gradually turned into 8) and how much it would cost. There has been a lot of inconsistencies in the quality of work which began as decent that gradually turned sloppy. Lack of communication - you could never reliably count on them to turn up. Lack of care - lots of kitchen fittings had to be replaced from damage while fitting, as well as the hob. They dented furniture they didn't bother covering up, left cigarette butts everywhere for us to pick up - the garden, the driveway, neighbour's side of the driveway... the most frustrating aspect of working with them is that Rob seems to be incapable of delivering 'bad news'. He would promise something to get off the 'hook' for that moment then ignore your calls and messages after. There are still ends that need to be tied but he keeps cancelling at the last minute or without any notice. We've now given up and finishing them ourselves. I would give Renovated 7/10 for their quality of work but 3/10 as a business and have no plans on using them again.

We called to change our order, Scot lied that the carpet has already arrived so it was impossible to change, I spoke to Nick about 5hrs later who lied that the carpets are on route to their warehouse which was non-existent and he will speak to the suppliers for the order to be changed just to be called by Dan this morning to charge me £35 just to change the order. Their carpet fitter charged us £20 to remove the carpets which he basically dumped outside my house and some in the garden. He charged us per square to basically dispose of the carpet which he stupidly admitted he was not allowed to dispose of in the recycle center. They are full of shit and will never tell you the truth. They will be nice to you before you place the order but once your money is with them.....your roller coaster rid starts from theirs. Please save yourself the hassle and go to other sellers...do not order from them. I have learned my lesson and am £65 worse off now just because of their cowboy attitude. I wish I could rate them 0. A few weeks later we found a property that suited our needs and Andrews were quick to put our offer forward and virtually had the offer accepted the same day, which was great as we didn't have to hang around for days on end wondering what was going on. Unfortunately once we had had our offer accepted Andrews seemed less interested in us, almost as if they're part of the job had been done. They even sent a letter of confirmation which essentially said if we had any questions/problems then we should contact our solicitors first. It was very tiresome and time-consuming to arrange follow up viewings so that we could take measurements etc. and even took a few weeks of asking to get them to get a set of keys from the vendor for an outside building that we had not seen yet as it was locked. Anyway, during a follow viewing to take measurements we couldn't finish it in time as we rushed out because the agent had another property to show to someone else. I'm sure most estate agents are like this.... once they have the sale, the show priority to new clients.
