NOEL'S TREE SERVICE…read more.. Friends, I have discovered a gold mine in the tree trimming business! Noel's Tree Trimming Service was recommended to me recently so I contacted them on 816-522-9152 and spoke to the owner, himself, Noel Martinez. He came over the very next day to give me an estimate. At the height of the season, he and his 6 member crew were at my home (in only two days) at 8:15 a.m. sharp, ready to work. I had a LOT of trees to do! To my total shock, they were working HARD within 10 minutes. They never stopped one time to take a break. These men are among the hardest working gentlemen I've ever seen! They worked together with precision and teamwork, each commanding a specific position to assure fast, accurate, and impressive results. Noel was a true professional, taking command of every tree's particular demise. His crew was also respectful. Not only did they remove then rake every single fallen limb from the yard, they even cleaned the patio deck, driveway, and sidewalks with a power blower. My home has never looked so good! And the best part: My home, the front porch, the gazebo, patio, and bedroom deck, are no longer in risk of damage by overhanging tree limbs. In a very short period of time, my home was restored to a clean-looking, impressionable property... all thanks to the men at Noel's Tree Trimming Service! Thank you so much! The services I receive get the maximum allowed... a full 5 star rating -- but DESERVES a 10 star rating. They were THAT GOOD! Please. Look no further if your trees need servicing. These guys know what they're doing! They're punctual, professional, and take pride in everything they do.

When he came to my door after his crew had…read morefinished, I told him I wasn't satisfied with the result and wanted the tree cut further back away from the house. He refused but said he would come back at a later date and trim the tree further back to my satisfaction. I have since called him five times to try to get him to come back. He always has some lame excuse. On one such call he even said he was out of the country! The last time I called, after listening to my request he hung the phone up on me. I should have withheld payment until I was satisfied. That was my mistake, but that doesn't excuse his lack of courtesy or behavior nor the fact that he lied to me and never had any intention of returning to trim the tree to my satisfaction. Needless to say, I will do no further business with him or his company nor do I recommend him to anyone else. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. If you do hire him, make sure you do not pay him until you are satisfied with the work. As the customer, you have the right to have the work done to your satisfaction, and as the saying goes, the customer is always right.

For us, it was a gnarly, tall, dead, poison ivy covered, rotting tree that in my mind was ready to fall on my car or roof. My experience with A-Alpha clocks in at a 3.5 stars, with some ups and downs, and eventually rounded up for customer service. I was shocked by some initial quotes on just how much it is to not only get a tree down but remove the wood. Shocked. Like $1500/$1600. Gross. We saw the positive reviews from A-Alpha that were totally confirmed when I met with the owner, Calvin. Calvin is super friendly, super responsible and has more reasonable rates. I visited with him and requested a certificate of insurance which he was able to provide for my property faster than I could get the words out -- a great sign. He penciled us in during the busy season (spring) and had a crew out two days later chopping and chipping away. The whole thing was done in an afternoon. Now I have to say, I was bummed when I went outside and saw some massive holes in my yard and a large cracked piece of sidewalk. The crew told me they'd come back and fix that the next day which didn't happen specifically then, but Calvin stayed in frequent contact to make sure they'd make it right. He was a upset with the crew and insisted that this should never happen, that a mistake was made and again that they'd get it handled quickly. They did. They also filled the holes with topsoil and grass seed which I'll have to monitor to get it growing again. It kind of stinks because with the older neighborhood I'm in, the concrete doesn't come close to matching and sticks out like a sore thumb, but really there's nothing anyone can do about that. Spending a ton of money on something like this is never fun, nor is having something go a bit wrong with the project, but when someone makes it right that goes a long way for me. If I hadn't ever heard from them again I'd be livid, but this case was pretty much the opposite. That being said, I hope to hell I never need them again because parting ways with a lot of money to have a tree go bye-bye is not one of life's finer moments!

I explained the situation with homeowner insurance giving me notice of cancellation in 4 weeks if trees not trimmed. He promised he could get it done in that time frame. We were scheduled again and was canceled because " a worker had other plans". I. had to repeatedly contact him to get it rescheduled. He finally told me he was going on vacation and could not get it done. When I asked him about meeting the insurance companies time line he sent a text that said "I can't guarantee anything at this point over a week away. I will call you when I get back, and if you still need it done, I'll be more than happy to take care of you." I ended up signing with another tree company who completed the job in 5 days. Don't waste your time with this company.

I had a few folks out for quotes off of Yelp; one was sky-high, one was suspiciously low, and this one was just right. Mike came out on an estimate but said he could get his crew over right away to take care of it. Seeing how they're trusted both on Yelp and all around, have insurance, and all the proper equipment, I felt good about it. Literally had it done in under an hour and cleaned it up like they were never here. No issues with the large limb removal, no issues getting everything chipped and hauled away. Honestly, about as easy as I could ever hope for. I cut him a check (they do take card but will add a near 4% fee) and that was that. Highly professional operation. I fear I'll need to take this specific tree down in the coming years as it ages out, and they'll be the first folks I'lI call when it's time. Highly recommend!!
