On the advice of a trusted neighbor, I contacted Kurt at Countrygree Tree Service (816.229.5007). He promptly called me back and we met at my house. Kurt took notes of what trees and limbs I needed trimmed or removed and gave me the notes along with a price estimate signed and dated. It was at least half of what another tree service bid earlier for the same work. His crew arrived with a commercial size chipper and went to work. They spent around 7 hours working but the crew was one man short that day and there was a large branch overhanging the roof of the house that took time to remove without damaging the house. The deck was covered with sawdust but his crew swept it clean along with sweeping up all the fallen branches and leaves around the trees, some left over from last fall. When the work was completed, Kurt gave me an itemized list of all work performed that date. All in all I was very pleased with their work and plan to use them again for all tree service. read more
