I ordered Mother's Day flowers to be delivered the Saturday before. They were never delivered and I got an email on Monday saying they would be delivered that day, apologizing the the delay. Okay - great! Appreciated the transparency and I understand how overwhelming this particular holiday likely is. However, I later I received an email saying there was a delivery attempt and that no one was home (weird, I had specified to leave them on the porch in that case). Well, it turns out there was never an attempt to deliver - we checked the Ring cam footage. I'm not sure if this is a scam, or just terrible customer service. I've requested a refund. My suggestion is use this florist at your own risk. If you are ordering flowers for a specific date, this likely isn't a good solution. Luckily, my mother is pretty understanding that she didn't get a Mother's Day gift. read more

The Pros: The flowers arrived on time and in the early portion of the day The ordering online was easy The Cons: The flowers looked NOTHING like the photo online. I am severely disappointed and actually embarrassed. I could have brought my mother far more beautiful flowers for a fraction of the cost from Pikes Place near my Home and brought them to her. Called William's flowers to complain and their explanation was that there is a flower shortage in the country and they had to substitute. If you had called me I would have far preferred to send a dozen roses to this. This looks like they picked up a bouquet at the grocery store and shoved it in a vase. I could have done that. Terrible product! Last week Williams filled an order from me through ProFlowers for a friend's *90th Birthday*, I ordered the FTD You're Precious bouquet. What I ordered and what was delivered to the "Birthday Girl" was so drastically different that I was terribly embarrassed for her to receive such crap on such a monumental birthday. Look at the photos of what the FTD bouquet was supposed to look like and the one that Williams created and sent out. Even the filler greens were dried out and some looked like floor sweepings. I was so disgusted that I called the FTD corporate office in Chicago to file a complaint. I'm retired from 30 years in the floral industry and our shops would have never tried to pass off something of this poor quality. Update: Although William, the business owner reached out to me with a message, why would I want this shop to send another crappy bouquet. It is the 2nd order I have placed with this shop in the last year, the first only lasted about 2 days. It's obvious from the other reviews that perhaps the Better Business Bureau needs to review this shop's Bait & Switch practices. I am extremely happy with my arrangement! I am fairly particular about things and wanted a nice centerpiece for our early Christmas party with family. I wanted it low enough that my guests can see each other over it. For the container, I chose to take in a bowl of my own that coordinates with my holiday china. I asked for something to be made up in reds and greens and to avoid anything with a strong scent such as lilies. They're beautiful but I have to enjoy those outside. The designer today met all my requests and told me the arrangement should last until Christmas. She said that if any of the flowers wilt by next Friday to let her know and she will replace. Great product, fantastic customer service. Husband is pleased as well and stated this shop will have our business in the future. read more

I was lucky I wondered into this shop today. I was looking for a unique arrangement last minute for a friend's ceremony. This is a little bit of a "trick" I do and I always come out with gorgeous arrangements. I let the florist know how much I'd like to spend and told her to use their artistry. This is one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ended up with yet. I'm so happy with the results. The pictures do not do it justice. Becky, the manager is working so hard to provide customers with quality. A much better arrangement than I could get from the local grocery stores for certain. I was truly blown away. Paid a LOT for a very important thank you gift to be delivered (promised same day delivery) to some important business partners. Got an email that it was delivered, but our friends never received the flowers. Called the shop the next day--and the gal said she would call the driver and call us back. As we were on the phone with our friends, lo and behold the flowers came an entire day late with not a whisper nor a response from this business. Don't need to use them again!! read more

I also would give this florist negative stars if I could. They were the local contractor for a floral website that my siblings and I ordered 3 arrangements for, for our mom's birthday. They lied to the 3rd party web company repeatedly about why they couldn't deliver our order on time. They blamed snow (no snow in the area), their delivery person "being on the wrong side of town" in a small semi-rural area, our mother's place of employment closing early due to the fictional snow (not true) among other gems. When the flowers were delivered a day and a half late the free upgrade we were promised did not happen nor did the note of apology nor early morning delivery. The delivered flowers looked like a 20.00 supermarket arrangement not a 50.00 before fees and free upgrade florist's, arrived at 1PM and the only note stated that they "could not" deliver the flowers the day before. Be warned almost all floral websites are contracted to this florist for North Kitsap deliveries. read more

My mother lives in California and ordered flowers to be delivered to me at my home in Poulsbo on my birthday. Well my birthday came and went with no flowers. My mom called the service she placed her order through and was told the order didn't go out because the florist didn't have the correct flowers in stock. She was then told the flowers would be delivered before noon the next day. The next day, at 7:07pm, the flowers were delivered. They were not what my mother ordered and the balloon that came with the delivery was half deflated. Seriously this is the saddest most depressing bouquet I've ever received. And my poor mother is extremely upset and disappointed. Flowers may seems silly and unimportant to some people, but when you can't be with the people you love for special occasions, knowing that you were able to provide them some happiness means a lot. I could care less whether or not I receive flowers for my birthday, but I am livid that my mother was treated this way. She has already requested a refund from the vendor she used. I read in another persons review that they were asked to give back the flowers that were delivered, and I would be happy to do that. In response to the business's comment below, I'm not sure how you could possibly locate an order using my first name and last initial only; but regardless, the order was sent under my maiden name and was placed by my mother who has a complete different last name. For $100 they send very mediocre arrangements and no matter how much you 'upgrade' the bouquet, the design always looks cheap. My mother-in-law texted me a photo and again I cringed. My poor husband ordered flowers for me on Mother's Day. He asked for peonies and/or dahlias. They didn't have either, and instead they told him that the mums they put in the arrangement were dahlias. They stuffed the poor flowers into a skinny ugly vase, and charged him $174!!!! Flowers were terrible, didn't last more than 1 day, and not a dahlia or peony in sight. This was such an awful experience for my daughter who want ed to surprise me with a flower bouquet. It was supposed to be delivered Thursday. Nothing came. She called Saturday and they arrived about an hour later. A VERY pathetic arrangement! The water in the vase was cloudy and green. The picture showed six sunflowers with green Mums. In my vase there was one sunflower and four Mums. One fifth of what it was supposed to be. My daughter called and got her money back. Me, it makes me mad every time I looks at these flowers and think this business can get away with such pathetic product and service! I live 2 blocks from the store and am thinking about carrying them back and talking to the manager. Don't use these folks! read more

Flowers to Go of Poulsbo flowers were disappointing in regard to freshness of the flowers an their lack of promptness. For the first time in our nineteen years together, my husband ordered delivered Flowers for Valentines day. That evening around 7PM, I received a call from Flowers to Go. The woman told me that she had flowers to deliver but since it was getting late she didn't want to send her delivery man out again that night. The surprise of flowers at my door was then ruined. She said that they would be delivered the next day , Feb. 15. On Feb 15, no flowers. Then around 4pm on the 26th they were delivered. It was obvious that they were not freshly cut as a few if the carnations were already wilted. I received inexpensive grocery store flowers a while back that stayed fresh nearly 2 weeks. Last Thursday I ordered a floral bouquet for a Memorial Service at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. On three occassions I asked the Flowers To Go representative (Ken) if he was certain the flowers would be delivered on time. Each time he assured me it would be no problem. The only problem I encountered was using Flowers To Go in the first place. The flowers were never delivered at all. I have never before witnessed this level of incompetence, if not indifference. Never again and buyer beware! On their website they extol the benefits of doing business with them using terms such as 'guaranteed satisfaction, prompt service, and go the extra mile.' These are admirable words in theory, but at Flowers To Go theory seems to disappear when the whistle blows for the kickoff. Go the extra mile? Had they had the initiative to go just half a mile from where I ordered the flowers, they would have arrived on a timely basis. There was no hesitation though in charging my credit card. That was accomplished speedily and with precise accuracy. This entire experience almost defies comprehension. read more

Like a previous reviewer said, I cannot think of a single time when I have posted a review or comment of a product or store. This place demands that I say something to try to ward off others from accidentally shopping here. I ordered flowers for my wife through FTD.com (mistake #1) for Valentines Day. I placed an order for the sweetheart bouquet (~65$ with an extra 20$ for services and delivery) several days in advance. My wife received the flowers (late in the day) in absolutely horrible form. Not only were there less than half the roses that were supposed to be present but the ones that were there were wilted and half-torn. I had essentially received scraps from the back room. I immediately went to the local store (in Poulsbo) and asked if this were some kind of joke. They said that I had only spent 55$ (FTD apparently skims quite a bit off the top) as though that were some kind of explanation for the trash that I received. They told me that they hadn't made it but instead "the Design Center." Whatever that is. They still remain responsible as far as I'm concerned. I can see that occasional individual mishap occurs at every store however placed in the context of the other two reviewers I will never shop here again. read more

I placed an order via a 3rd party web company because of the Valentine's Day special offer of free delivery. I recieved a notice from the web company that Flowers To Go was not going to be able to deliver on Valentine's Day and would I like to reschedule for the 16th. I went ahead and rescheduled, big mistake. The flowers never arrived. When I call the web company I was told that Flowers To Go was requesting additional money to make the delivery. I cancelled my order after hearing this and the web company refunded all my money in full. I decided to call Flowers To Go to hear their side of the story. I was told that they are not required to honor the web company's discounts and needed the delivery fee. I always thought that if you are taking orders from a 3rd party web company then you are required to honor that discount, if not then do not sign up to fill these orders. I ordered flowers through Avaflowers.com for my daughter's birthday. The arrangement I ordered was the Birthday Indulgence. I ordered the small arrangement, same day free delivery for a total of $38.58. I ordered them about 10:00 a.m. but did not get delivered until the next morning. When they arrived, they were FAR from what i ordered. They were actually pitiful and nothing, even comparable to what I ordered. Plus my credit card was charged $58.58. These flowers were outsourced to Williams Flowers & Gifts. I contacted Avasflowers and they asked me to send them a pic of the flowers. They responded saying these were in line with their substitution policy. If this is what Williams Flower thinks is comparable to the picture of the flowers I thought I was ordering, then they are sadly mistaken. Unfortunately, Avasflowers doesn't have an actual site on Yelp that I can write a review on so I'm writing one here since Williams is the one who made the arrangement. Everything about this order was NOTHING of what I was expecting. I was so disappointed by the flowers, that I actually cried and the fact that Avasflowers isn't willing to do anything whatsoever to make me happy, is even worse. They haven't even addressed the fact they charged me $20 more than it should have been. Believe me these flowers aren't even worth $10 much less almost $60 damn dollars. Well I ordered on line in the morning and messed up the delivery date. Called right away and told them and was told it would be fixed. Then 2 hours later still didn't hear from them. I called them back and then was told that they will check to see if it can even be delivered today. I asked that they cancel my delivery charge and I will pick them up, I could hear a lady in the background saying how they still can't guarantee it will be ready for me today. I called at 5:30 and was told that they couldn't find a florist in the area that could deliver on that day however they are going to deliver them the following day. It's hard to imagine this company maintaining its FTD affiliation. In the past four years, my relatives in Canada have been referred to this slipshod shop. Not one of the promised arrangements showed up on time, undamaged, or at the correct address. Instead, they have been left down the street and delivered to someone who was not there, The Christmas poinsettia was left at the garage door in freezing weather, and for birthdays flowers were not delivered at all. Phone inquiries revealed a store owner who is willing to blame his shop's poor track record on underpaid, improperly trained, questionably capable employees. As you can see by other posts here, the company cannot or will not improve its service, because it has no incentive to do so. As long as FTD funnels business its way Flowers To Go can blithely go its merry way ruining holidays, anniversaries, and the good wishes of family members. If you accidentally get satisfactory service from this joint, lucky you. If you can give it a five star rating, you are either on a powerful drug or related to the owner. read more

I just received flowers that were ordered for me via an online service. This was an $80 dollar order and what I received was $6 dollars worth of carnations, 10 purple ones to be exact. It looks NOTHING like the photo that was ordered for me. While the store was only given $40 from the national online site, they still only sent me $6 worth of low-grade flowers. Even with a delivery charge of $14, this is no where near a $26 bouquet. When I called Flowers to Go to question this she literally said, tough luck. You should all be ashamed of yourselves! And note to a business, if you are not given enough $$ from another business to fulfil the job to your standards, then don't take the order and refuse to do business with them. I only wish to write a review so that others will know the frustration that I went through with ftd. I ordered a bouquet from ftd.com for Mother's Day that was full of peach roses, and white gerber daisies set in a rectangular glass vase with a peach bow wrapped around the front. The arrangement was pretty pricey. When I spoke with my mom about the bouquet that she received I found out that she received a few roses, mostly lilies, and carnations, in the absolute wrong colors, in a tube vase with no bow. I called ftd and arranged for the correct bouquet to be sent, only after they tried to insist that someone had to wait at the home and return the other bouquet. They finally agreed to the wrong bouquet just being left on the step. Once my mother received the second bouquet she let me know that it was still incorrect and very similar to the first. In the end, after talking to ftd employees and a supervisor for 45 minutes over the phone I found out some helpful information: ftd sends out "substitution" flowers if the right flowers are unavailable. They give no notice when this occurs, they find it fitting, even for a Mother's Day gift. All that ftd offered me was a 30% refund for their horrible mistake and low class flowers.
