They bent over backwards to accommodate our frequently finicky requests and did a thoroughly fantastic job! I'm not quite a senior citizen, but I've been around a while and have worked with lots of electricians, plumbers, and other contractors and CLP Electric might just be the best experience I've had with people coming to do work on my house. He gave me a reasonable quote for putting up the Christmas lights and we agreed. He stated at that time that the price we paid included taking down the Christmas lights in early January. When the lights were hung we had a couple issues, I wanted alternating red and white, he just put up just one color. Also I had wanted the garage outlined and that piece was missed. Ultimately, the job was made right and I paid in check when the job was complete. I've texted him on Jan 10 no response. Texted him on Jan 14 and he replied saying the crew would be there on Friday. Never showed. I texted again on Jan 24. He replied the next day saying his brother had passed. It is obvious to me that Matt's family suffered a horrible tragedy and was not in a place to respond. I can certainly empathize but wish there was more communication to just let me know the expectation beyond a "you'll hear from me when you hear from me" type response. Again, I'm sure I was the last thing on his mind. Matt has also offered to reimburse me for the added cost to take down the lights which I will take him up on.

SP Roofing & Construction was the first to respond and offered very competitive pricing. Matt worked with my availability and was very communicative when he ran into delays at another job. I began to feel like things wouldn't work in my favor when rain was forecasted for the next day but Matt came out on his own and did the work in a couple of hours before it started to pour down raining, and my lights look great!!! We've had BullDawg Electric come out to do several different things for us. First, we had them…read moreinstall under counter lights and replace some switches so we can dim the lights when we need to. They did a great job, and offered a couple of solutions that saved work, and money for us, but cost them. Second, we had them install a back up generator for us. They took care of everything from permits, to concrete pads, to contacting a plumber to run the gas line and finally the installation. And third most recently, we wanted to upgrade the lights we had hung on our patio with a switch rather than a plug. And they would have done it for us, but after some thought about wnat we wanted to do, Les (the owner) called and offered an easier and less expensive solution for us. By getting smart plugs, we could do the job ourselves. IK this isn't a terribly challenging thing to do, but I had no idea smart plugs even existed. The point is BullDawg could have done the job and made some money, but instead, looking out for his customer, offered and alternative that saved us money and time.
