The last time we had a strange situation, we would leave for vacation and turn off the main water valve. The refrigerator would flood water out. My home warranty company assigned this company and I was definitely and happily surprised by the service I received Michelle and David. I got a timely call to set my diagnostic appointment, David was right on time, the diagnosis was quick, parts were ordered, once I confirmed the parts were in, the repair appointment was made for three days later and again David arrived right on time and the repair was completed in a timely fashion. David was sent to us through our home warranty company. After a pleasant conversation with Michelle Williams, telling us to expected David between 12 and 5:00 pm, David arrived last Thursday at 11:48 am with Matthew to evaluate what might be wrong with our microwave (it stopped making noise even as it warmed food items). They were in and out in 8 minutes, having quickly determined that the cooling fan stopped working. David told me Michelle would call me Friday to follow-up, which she did. The part was ordered on Friday and Michelle called Monday to schedule the repair on Tuesday. David and Matthew arrived at the beginning of the 5-hour scheduled time window and in 30 minutes they had the part replaced and the microwave working like a dream! David and Michelle were friendly and personable. Matthew was very knowledgeable and really knows his stuff. We had a great experience with this company and would recommend them. read more

David, the owner, is a jerk! He was assigned by my warranty company to fix my oven which wasn't locking. He indignantly said it was a "design flaw" and he said it couldn't be repaired. The home warranty company requested a second opinion, and that appliance repair service ordered a piece for the door and when the piece arrived was able to easily install it. Williams Dependable Appliance Service came to my attention via a home warranty. I left a message. Michelle was prompt to return my call, pleasant to talk to and set up the appointment for a front loading washing machine leak. David and Mathew come out, inspect, say they will order the front loading door seal. Very professional, nice guys. So, i ask if they could order parts I need for a dryer at another property. This would be me paying them directly, no home warranty at this other place. I know exactly what the dryer issue is. i had video to show them as well. Drum rollers needed replacing. David said no problem, give Michelle a call with the serial number so parts can be ordered. i call Michelle. Once again very helpful. The parts come in, David and Mathew return to fix the washer seal first and then we head over to the home with the dryer issue. All good and fixed. No drama, no excuses, no upselling, scare tactics etc. This company's info is now saved in my phone to share their info and/or call them again when/if other appliance go on tilt. read more

Williams UN-Dependable Service refused to service my appliance covered under my home warranty. He claimed that it needed to be lifted from the drain pan and he was unable to lift it so he couldn't fix it. Then he told me that there was nobody in all of the Coachella Valley that had at least two employees that could lift the washer from the drain pan to fix the leak. WHAT??? He also tried telling me that it wasn't the washer that was leaking because he "eyeballed" the location from upstairs and the leak downstairs was at least a foot off from where he eyeballed it. In addition, the pipe that was seen leaking downstairs can't be from the washer because all of the drain pans that he has seen release water from the side, not the bottom. I have searched for drain pans, and all of them have the valve on the bottom so that is not true. After I showed him the washer drain pipe that was right next to it he agreed that it was in fact the drain pan that was leaking and not the washer. Then told me the washer wasn't the problem, it was the drain pan. SO, I agree there is an issue with the drain pan too but how is there water in a drain pan right below the washer if the washer isn't leaking? He told my Home Warranty that because the drain pan was leaking, it is not covered and denied the repair even after the warranty sent him another request to service the washer. Contacted the warranty and they are sending an actual repair company out the same day to fix it instead. Do not use this service because clearly, he is NOT DEPENDABLE! read more

Dave fixed my built in GE microwave and also solved an issue with my GE oven. The oven door had locked in the closed position and the wiring in the back had fried from the heat from the cleaning cycle. Without power you can't open the door and you need the door open to remove the cooker to fix the wiring ..... Dave was the only person out of three vendors that came out that fixed the problem and got the door open. I have to say, he was awesome!! He didn't have to do this .... He was only supposed to fix the microwave ... but he went the extra mile plus to help me get the oven fixed. I would strongly recommend giving Dave a call if you have an appliance service issue!! Definition of "dependable" -- trustworthy and reliable. Well, he came to look at my stove and within about 3 minutes diagnosed the problem and said he will order the parts, easy/peasy and he'll be back when the parts come in. Turns out I get a call from my Home Warranty to inform me that a new service contractor will be scheduled to come out. I ask why as they have already sent someone who is on it! They explain that the 1st guy(Dependable) told them he couldn't fix it. Is this "dependable?" When the guy tells the customer one thing and the Home Warranty company another? I think not. Waited a week for an appointment to repair my oven by Williams Dependable Appliance Repair. Today, the Service technician (David) showed up called while I was in the restroom (called my cell 4x in 2mins). I immediately returned his call and of course, he didn't answer so I left several messages. When I called the office and spoke to someone who identified herself as the owner and asked what is a reasonable amount of time to allow some to return the technician's call, I was told "if you don't answer, they leave" as they can't wait all day. Williams Appliance Service was called by my home warranty to fix my dishwasher.  I was shocked to have been called the same day. Michelle the job coordinator was a delight.  She was articulate and friendly.  A real down to earth person. I will admit that there is a few days wait for an appointment but what company that is in high demand does not have a wait?  David was the person that diagnosed the dishwasher.  It needed a new mother board.  David was quick and knowledgeable about my 8 year old appliance and knew just what to do.  David let me know that Michelle would call for the actual repair appointment as soon as the part was delivered.  With the current supply chain stuff going on, parts are taking a smidge longer than usual. Fix it day: David arrived and had my dishwasher working with the new part within 25 minutes.  YAHOO! No more dishpan hands.  After a few days my dishwasher stopped working again.  I called my home warranty and Michelle and we got another appointment on the calendar.  The dishwasher heating element went out.  Who knew.  As soon as the part was in I was phoned, new appointment and the repairs were made. YAHOO we now have a dishwasher that should work for several years to come. What I like about this company is the consistency on every level.  I knew what was going on during every step of the process. Absolutely worst experience dealing with this company. The lady that picks up the phone to schedule the appointment is very rude and intolerable. When I called to schedule she told me that her technician will arrive next week at around morning(no specific time) other than that I would be his first trip. Mind you I told her I leave 2 hours away from the house since it was under full construction so I needed a more exact timeframe and a phone call when technician was on his way. She said ok. The day comes and the technician shows up at 8:20am with NO phone call and leaves. I had missed him by 10mins(woke up at 6am to head over to the house to be there early in case he showed up before 9). Long story short, I give them a call to have the technician come back since it has only been 10mins and she replies arrogantly that it was my fault and we have to reschedule. I told her I took a day off from work to be there for that guy but she didn't care at all. Do yourself a favor and use another company. read more

She left me hanging for several days even though she promised to call me with an update after her husband came to look at 13-month old broken washer... Turns out the HW refused to repair and she couldn't be bothered to call and alert me... Customer service is a no show with this co. and dependable is not what I think of when I hear Williams Appliance Repair. If your HW says that is who will be assigned, you don't have to agree, ask them for a different company... or don't say you weren't warned. I do not recommend this company at all. I had very high hopes after initially speaking to their office after AHS called them to come out for a second opinion. Their tech basically came out to the house ran a cycle in our washer, and wrote a report back to AHS that our machine is making a loud noise, but other than the noise works great. After I found that out I called their office back and said, "we still do not have an answer with the issue of what is going on with our machine," and the office basically told me that AHS does not cover noise. So let me get this straight, you came all the way to our house to confirm a noise which was already described to you over the initial phone call with your office, and for that you get paid??? Save yourself time and money and do your homework before you pay this company to come out to your home to do nothing!!!! read more

If you want to test for yourself, call them...i know, again no answer from a live person. Just another recording. Take one step further and try to schedule something. I hate to. leave a bad review but the customer service for this company is the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. I have no review for the actual technician. Besides being closed for a lunch break, closed at 4pm our on many numerous closed for the weekday events, the woman who answers the phones and dispatches the service is very rude and unprofessional. They. did not performs services as promised and paid for and act very immature and hostile over regular customer disputes. Came out to fix our stove said they it would be a week ,3 weeks later nothing done and can't even get a hold of anybody , left 3 messages and no response from Them. We had them come out to repair our dishwasher, the guy diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, charged us a $50.00 diagnosis fee. Finally came back with the parts, installed one of them then said we didnt need the other one--the pump. First time we ran the dishwasher, the same old problems occured, including the one of the original problems of the tub bottom filling up with water. He came back, told us he was stumped, and that he would call GE and get some help. Meanwhile, I called them and left a voicemail telling them they can come over and see the tub with the water in it. Never heard back from them, so I called. They told me that GE refused to talk to them and that the warranty company said that they wont cover it unless the appliance guy actually sees the water in the tub. I called the warranty company and the looked at the notes and say they never told him that, and that it isnt their policy to require that anyway. The guy (David) who may be an owner of the company, has now LIED to me and it is really hard to believe that GE wouldnt talk to him, isnt it? Now I am getting a different company to come out and will have to pay another $50.00. By the way, the company is very bad, in my opinion, about returning phone calls. This has now gone on for 3 weeks now and I am at square 1 thanks to Williams UN-dependable Appliance Service. My recommendation? RUN, DONT WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

Woke up Wed. morn to a conked-out fridge. Called home warranty folks, who, in turn, called Williams Dependable. Within just a few minutes, Michelle, the dispatcher, phoned me and said I would be David's first call of the day (this was just after 8:00 a.m.). In about another half hour, David arrived -- all business, a pretty serious fellow. Took a look at the fridge and in not more than 10 minutes, diagnosed the issue based on his knowledge of my make and model fridge, told me he'd order the part that day and install it as soon as it came in. Fri. morning, Michelle called (again, shortly after 8:00) and said David would be here between 10 and noon to finish the repair. Right about 10:30, he arrived with the part to install, but it was like a whole different dude. He was all business, sure, but he was also funny and talkative as he went about his work, he was genuinely concerned if I had managed to limp by for a couple of days with a fridge that was acting up, and he simply couldn't have been nicer or more service-oriented. I now have his -- and Michelle's -- number in my phone's contact list so I can call them whenever I need to, home warranty company or not. David & Michelle -- you guys RAWK!!!
