I'm officially a believer…read more I wanted to wait until I was further into my treatment to leave a review but I swear by Dr. Mike at HealthSource. I have had a lot of back pain at various stages of my life, along with some scoliosis, arthritis in my neck, and I have an extra lumbar vertebrae. This happens sometimes when the vertebrae don't fuse properly, and due to the fact it creates a structural abnormality, it made me a bit apprehensive to seek chiropractic care. I did a lot of research, and after asking for recommendations in a Facebook community group, Dr. Mike had the most recommendations. Making the appointment couldn't have been easier. I made it about 2 weeks out to coincide with the week I would be working at home, but Liz was kind enough to reach out and ask if I would like to be seen sooner. From day 1 Liz has been so friendly and kind. She's super helpful with billing questions, they were able to set up a payment plan, every time I've had to call to reschedule, she is just a gem! All of the staff are so down to earth and they really care for their patients. Everyone is greeted by name, and it makes you feel important. They also have accommodating hours as well! Dr. Mike began our first visit with x-rays and he really took the time to explain what we were looking at, the course of treatment he recommended, and what to expect. He also explained each step during my first adjustment. My spine had pretty severe misalignment, so he began the adjustments to get everything back in alignment, re-center my pelvis, and correct the lack of curvature in my neck. I had been experiencing some pretty serious fatigue (sleeping more than 12 hours a night) and still feeling tired all day. I had already made an appointment to go get blood work to check my hormones. Lo and behold after ONE adjustment with Dr. Mike the fatigue was GONE. I had no clue this could be connected, but apparently it's a lot of work for your body to uphold your spine when it's misaligned. This regiment helped me more than I ever anticipated it could. Dr. Mike is full of personality, but don't get it twisted, he knows what he is doing! We did 10 adjustments before redoing the X-rays and the progress in alignment was obvious! If you are skeptical, I highly recommend going in for one adjustment. I was mad I waited so long. As if all of that wasn't enough, they also have a massage therapist onsite! There is nothing better than finishing your adjustment with a massage from Keturah! She has the best personality, she's hilarious, and amazing at what she does! This has truly helped me in more ways than I expected. I was so apprehensive to give it a try, but I will forever swear by it now.

When you read that, it's not fun massage it's ouchy massage and some serious body cracking. I called Leah the same day and she scheduled me for the safest time frame to see me, about 5 days after an injury. I didn't believe it at first but I asked one day why she had certain things on her side table. So no one who requests a wellness test goes in with a preconceived notion, I won't tell you what is done but... to say it bluntly... I was shookith. She recommended some supplements to me and I started off with three. Then that turned into five. Which turned into my partner getting a few. Which has turned into me not needing a sleeping aid for more nights in a month than ever in the last 15 years and a late day trip to get some that we ran out of, specifically the sleep supplement. In this case, my wife found…read morethis Chiro on the list of available places provided by my healthcare Blue Cross and then she worked her way down the list until she found one she liked and boom here I am. Let me say I was fully against chiropractic services and have never visited one before. My shoulder locked up, my arm locked up, my hand went numb and I was in immense pain. I went to urgent care and they did X-rays and found nothing wrong and wanted me to go to physical therapy. I knew something was wrong and grudgingly agreed to an appointment here. They do a consultation, X-rays and their plan for treatment all in one shot. They adjust as they go and as needed. My pain was in my shoulder they said it was my neck too which didn't hurt. They spent 3 weeks 3 times a day working my neck with compression, back on some sort of wave bed and the actual chiropractor stuff too. I was in pain and could barely move. They set up for me to go for deep tissue massage too because I was fully locked up. That was day 1. 2 months later I am back to 98% and have no pain. It wasn't easy to get there - needed a bunch of appointments to get me back in place and the massage were key. Each week things were getting better. In the middle of it all I put my lower back out and I have done that before and suffered for days until it went back to normal - was in for the shoulder and they put my lower back in place in 5 minutes. They don't BS you - I don't always need a major adjustment- but they brought me back to life. The whole staff here is great and love their jobs. Both doctors are great - I mostly work with Dr. Chris and he is knowledgeable but fun. I have also had the pleasure of working with Dr. Adam who is straight to business but can crack a hard to get spot with magic hands. This business cares, is well run and has your health in mind. They are growing through referrals and not never ending service if you don't need it. They have updated systems for appointments and the office is clean and quaint. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and remember I started out a naysayer. Way to go Dr. Chris and Dr. Adam and your whole staff - you are all the best. Thank you for bringing me back to life and getting me feeling the best I have felt in a while. I waited to post a review until a while after I was feeling better to see if it held and it did.
