I'm always encouraged to be a part of the massage plan, let them know how this feels or how that's working for me. Due to my regular person not being available when I was due for my appointment, I was encouraged to get an appointment with Allie since she'd had a cancellation that afternoon. My back was in need of some major help so I jumped at the chance! As soon as we were talking and working out how to help my back, I knew Allie was going to be my Massage Person! She knew exactly what kind of pain I was dealing with because she had similar experiences. This angel of mercy worked on my back and she was switching up the plan so I had several "hot spots" go back to being just "spots"! She was so knowledgeable regarding pressure points and muscle configurations. I left feeling way more better than I was going into my appointment. The people in this office have been friendly and kind from the moment I go through the front door until I'm headed back out the door, always feeling so much better!

Overall the whole atmosphere was amazing and the people there were great. The doctor is outstanding and definitely a people person

I'm never been chiropractic fan, but while out of town I needed relief for neck and back pain. With…read moretravel and age these things happen, but I had no time to wait. The Joint Chiropractic is a massive chain practice across the country. I get eat used them recently in Virginia Beach where they have multiple offices. The front desk staff was nice. I saw Dr. Eric who has a wonderful bedside manner. After a discussion of my pain and location manipulation of neck and back was performed. Treatment plans can last weeks, so I had no illusion that I would get immediate relief. However, it was very helpful. I appreciate the services provided and no longer a chiropractic doubter. The group offers different plans and a $29 first time patient deal.

I want to be fair in writing this review because I absolutely made a mistake here. I should have…read morebeen paying closer attention to my credit card statements and caught the recurring membership charges much sooner. That said, my experience with The Joint has left me extremely disappointed with the way their membership and cancellation practices work. I stopped using The Joint roughly three years ago. Their own records confirm that I have not had a visit during that entire period, yet I continued to be charged approximately $80 every month. Over that time, those charges added up to several thousand dollars for a membership I never used. Their records also show that I contacted the office in 2025. I vaguely remember that call after noticing a charge and trying to deal with the membership. Ultimately, no written cancellation form was completed, and the charges continued. When I finally went into the Friendly Center location to address everything in person, the district manager specifically told me that they could not cancel memberships over the phone because doing so would be a HIPAA violation. She made that statement in front of customers and an employee she was actively training. After I challenged that explanation, I later received an email acknowledging that the written cancellation requirement actually comes from The Joint's Wellness Plan Agreement--not HIPAA. That distinction matters. HIPAA is federal healthcare privacy law. A company policy requiring written cancellation is one thing. Telling a customer that federal law prevents cancellation over the phone is something entirely different. I asked them to consider the circumstances and refund the charges, or at least work toward a reasonable resolution. I openly acknowledged that I should have caught the charges sooner. Their position, however, is that because I did not follow the written cancellation procedure, they are entitled to keep all of the money charged over roughly three years despite their records showing that I never used the service. To me, that says a lot about how this membership model operates. Consumers should absolutely read every part of the agreement and watch their statements closely. If you think you canceled, verify it in writing and keep a copy. Do not assume that not using the service for years, contacting the office, or making your intentions clear will result in any flexibility later. I take responsibility for my mistake. But in my opinion, a business also has the ability to look at an obvious situation, exercise some discretion, and decide whether keeping thousands of dollars for services that were never used is really the right thing to do. In my experience, The Joint chose the contract over the customer. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a membership to understand the cancellation requirements before signing up and to monitor every recurring charge carefully

Salama Chiropractic Center is the best thing that has happened to my back! I finally have my…read moreregular life back! Choosing chiropractic care is a very important decision. when you go to a Primary Care Physician or urgent Care complaining of back and neck issues the first thing you'll receive is a prescription for a pill. You will be continuously taking medicine to numb the pain without seeing the issue or fixing the problem! At Salama Chiropractic Center I was able to see an x-ray of the pinched nerve in my back and the reason behind my stiff neck. The office location is very convenient right on wendover in greensboro. A few highlights to mention are x-rays are completed in-house which was extremely important to me for fast results and billing purposes. In the first office visit you will meet the billing team to discuss insurance and payments so you won't have any surprises. They have already spoken with your insurance so they know how many visits you receive for the year and copay information. Not to mention you receive a goodie bag with a free ice pack which adds an extra touch of service. Dr. Salama has excellent bedside manner and always greets you with a smile. He takes his time to chat with you and will answer as many questions as you wish. He takes his time to break down the significance of treatment, discussing things such as your posture, types of shoes you are wearing, day to day activities that could be detrimental to your body and treatment. After the first 3 visits I noticed a significant difference. I no longer need to take ibuprofen or other prescription medications for my neck and back. I am now able to walk around more and carry out my day-to-day life without constantly having to sit down and feeling tired. I still have a little ways to go but it's much better than the year I was on medication from my primary care doctor

I've gone to chiropractors in three different states. Dr. Grosman is the best I've ever worked…read morewith; I've been with him for over two years now. Here are the reasons why: 1) His treatment works. Other chiropractors have had me in much more frequent treatment with little to no change in my condition. I'm a pretty loyal patient, so I gave those other doctors a fair shake--several months of treatment or more. I started to receive some relief from Dr. Grosman's treatment almost immediately, and now I keep going because it keeps me in good condition. 2) He's honest. I suspected some of the other chiropractors I worked with were stringing me along, treating me frequently to bill my insurance. Dr. Grosman's staff sat me down and discussed up front what treatment I was likely to need and what my insurance coverage limits were. My treatment frequency has been based on my need, not my policy limits. I was actually surprised when Dr. Grosman suggested spacing my appointments further apart; he could have billed my insurance for the more frequent visits, but he didn't feel I needed them. 3) His staff is professional, efficient, helpful, and friendly. They make a point of greeting me by name, even though I'm only there once a month. 4) The office is clean. That may not mean much to some people, but it means a lot to me. 5) They're low-pressure. The office offers nutritional supplements and weight-loss stuff that they themselves have tried. They make it available and they're happy to tell you about it if you ask, but they don't force it on you. 6) They believe in education. Dr. Grosman gives regular sessions explaining why chiropractic works, so you understand what you're doing and why. He also makes patients partners in their treatment. He's not there to "fix" you, he's there to help you help yourself feel better. It's about promoting health, not treating illness. 7) They're prompt. I rarely have a wait for treatment that's more than ten minutes, and usually my wait to be seen is less than five minutes. 8) Billing is convenient. They bill my insurance company directly, and I just handle the co-pay. For some reason, a lot of chiropractors require you to submit your claims yourself, which is more work than I feel like doing. All in all, I'm very pleased with Dr. Grosman, the clinic, and the whole staff.

Recently, I started going back to Dr. Grosman for my hips and neck. He is always professional, friendly, and personal. He works around my schedule and needs, not his. The staff that was there for my treatment 9 nine years ago was the same staff there just recently. And they are all friendly and accommodating. In fact, even after all those years, they still remembered me. It's nice to have a doctor's office that has a personal touch. While the decor may not be modern, everything is clean and neat. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

As someone with a sporadic schedule, this works well for me. However, the dr does offer package specials for those who can come in more regularly. You will need to make your appointment online and if you have to cancell there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. Otherwise you will lose what you paid upfront for the appointment. I did arrive early so there was available street parking. I would give yourself time to find parking and walk if needed. Walking in, the space appeared to be clean and welcoming. There is also a juice bar in the front which very much compliments the health and wellness space. For my visit I decided to do the Float tank and not the Float pod. These tanks are filled will approx. 1000 pounds of Epsom salt (give or take) and would be similar to floating in the dead sea. The float tank and pod is completely soundproof and you have the option of complete darkness and quiet or soft dim lighting and gentle music. I found it a bit challenging for myself to be still for 60 minutes, I constantly wanted to change the lighting and volume of music and at one point I cut the lights all the way off and I can admit freaked just a little bit. (Haha). But I floated myself safely back to the light by the door opening, by way of my hands, and was able to open the door and turn the light back on. Whewww. It's just you and your thoughts which makes for a very unique experience that really shows how hard it can be to truly be still. The rooms provide a shower, body soap, shampoo and conditioner. You will want to shower before and after you use the tank. There are also private dressing areas where you can blow dry your hair and get ready if needed. (for float tank users only I do believe) Sonder Mind and body also has a Sauna and different variations of massage therapy to take advantage of. I do wish that their website had some more information. I also would like to see more packages. The only ones I could see were Float and Sauna or Float and massage. There is also an option for a membership which provides a bit of savings but if you want 1 float and 1 sauna a month it's $100. Would I do this again, maybe as a special treat. But to me I would much prefer a facial or massage. I am happy I tried it though! Anywho, I really encourage anyone that has ever wanted to try a float tank to at least try it once!
