I called the 800 number and they setup an office visit for me which I had to take a half day off…read morework to see the doctor and have counseltation on having crowns put on implants which I had done at the Medical College of Georgia school of dentistry which did a great job! The only reason I called Aspen is because the College could not place the crown until December and I have a trip to Africa Thanksgiving week, and I wanted the crowns placed so that I could have a nice smile and eat steak. I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment filled out all the questions on the tablet, plus complete x-ray of my full mouth! I asked the X-ray technician was all those x-rays necessary, which she danced all around the answer. She left me for 5 minutes came back and said, " The doctor said you need to go back to where you had the implants done." What the hell!!! They could have told me that when I first called or even when I arrived. I called their main office and spoke with a manager and of course, here comes showers of apologies! This caused me a half day of work, and the doctor couldn't come out and even see me! We'll doc, I'm glad I didn't let you in my mouth! You need to go all the way back to elementary school and learn basic etiquette. Very unprofessional! Well, if Aspen doctors are like that, they wouldn't be around much longer. I am posting this for my son (he has learning difficulties). He visited this "dentist" several…read moreyears ago when he was in his early twenties because he needed dentures. Chief among his complaints about his visit: 1. The dentist began trying to pull his teeth before his mouth was numb. When he tried to complain he was ignored. 2. The dentist (or an assistant) literally broke several of his teeth while trying to extract them, leaving parts of the tooth in his gums and then trying to dig them out, all while my son was in extreme pain. 3. The dentist spoke very harshly and was in no way professional. 4. The dentures never fit right and caused a lot of pain whenever my son tried to wear them. When my son called a few days later to let them know they still did not fit correctly he was told that he had not given it enough time to heal. Eventually he quit trying to wear them because of the pain. This experience was so horrible l wanted to contact the Dental Association and file a complaint on behalf of my son, but he begged me not to - he just wanted to "move on" and try to forget the experience. Now, several years later, he still can't eat unless he takes his dentures out, so he refuses to eat at a restaurant or out in public. I would strongly urge people NOT to do business with this practice. My son was treated like dirt and STILL needs dentures because of the terrible experience he had with this business.
