I finally had my own appointment and they had blocked off 1.5 hours for me for X-rays, cleaning, and dentist visit. Shari was my hygienist and was extremely kind and explained what all they were going to do as well as some tips to help with some of my gum issues. I hope to never have any major dental issues again in my life (just let me dream, ok?) but if I do, I am so glad to have this clinic close by to help me out because I know they will take good care of me. The office was clean and quiet but be warned they are scheduling our quite a ways for new patients so don't wait to get on their list if you need a dentist!

Kind and professional. Dr. King was super thorough. The thing I love about Newel Dental is that you feel as though you are part of a family. That's a big plus for a Dental Office! Apparently Dr. Carter started a new business and handed things over for the most part, from what we understood. Seemed to be a little pricey and they wanted us to enroll in Dr. Carter's new business after the braces came off. Needless to say, we sought other consultations and no longer use this office. I would highly recommend others do the same before making a decision.

Kim is right there with him and will openly tell you that she does not believe a customer and over talks to get her point across. Instead of understanding the soft skills be customer service needed. They are very focused on time being their patient (not how many times you have been serviced) and payment ratio. I have been with them since August and seen the doctor all of 3 times in the 6 months Kim continued to bring up. I really feel they need to have a better way of determining customer value. If I as a customer let you know of an unfortunate event in my life, and you do everything to make me feel bad because of something I could not control.

My Name is Christie Bussey and my family and I were some of Dr. Makerson's first customers when she opened her practice. The kids were still in elementary and kindergarten at the time. So I said all of this to say She had been our family dentist until I relocated to Atlanta, GA in 1996 and even after that because I was still going back and forth visiting remaining family for about two years after that. But her "motto - gentle dentistry" is indicative of the type of service provided at her practice and nothing short in any sense of the word. Just to show you how loyal I am to her practice as well as the treatment I appreciate receiving; even though she is now out of network for me, I just went back this Summer to have her perform a Root Canal w/crown as well as cleaning. I love her very professional staff and the individual respect & patience rewarded whenever I visit and her work is indeed impeccable, it rises shoulder to shoulder with anyone else out there whom you deem impeccable. He has to be one of the most genuine, caring professionals I've met in a very long time. Not that I was trying to be nosey but I saw him come outside to talk with a patient who just left and seemed upset. He spoke to me like I was a member of his family and offered conservative recommendations, while assuring me of my overall dental health (my prior dentist quoted me a huge price for all the "work" I needed). He has a great sense of humor, is upbeat and positive. While I don't have a fear of the dentist, I think he could truly put anyone at ease.
