I made an appointment two days in advance to drop off first thing in the morning for alignment and…read morerotation. I drop the car off at about 7:00am and put the key in the key drop. I also left a voicemail asking them to call me to give me a ballpark time once they open. I hear nothing for several hours. I call again, get the voicemail, leave another message, no response for several more hours. Now it's about 1:30 or 2pm so I walk down to the shop to see if anyone is even there. Yup, they are there, working on two other cars. Mine is still parked in the same spot, my key is on the counter. I ask the mechanic what the story is. He tells me he didn't know anything about it, that "Bruiser" is the one who makes the schedule and he knows nothing about my appointment. I look down at the scheduling book and there at 8:00am is my name, my phone number, my car make and model and the work that needs to be done written right on this date. I point to it and ask "That isn't me right there?" He responds "yeah sorry I didn't know anything about it. I can have Bruiser call you when he gets back." I tell him I am taking the car that I have things to do. He says he will have Bruiser call me when he gets back. I never received a call.

Super easy going, knowledgeable, experienced, reliable, and kind. I truly cannot recommend Chieftains enough. As a former business owner, I'm always critical of the customer service I receive because I know how important it was to me to give my clients the best experience, but it's getting harder to find companies or contractors that take pride in providing the customer with the best experience. He didn't let them run at me or even out of the back office. I honestly wouldn't have minded, I really like dogs, but I can see how this would be a scare for some. Socializing dogs is a good thing. You rather he leave them home all day?. Overall 10/10 would rather not Mike again because that means something bad happened to my car, but will come back if the dings/ dents are a thing again. I took it to another shop I trust and they found many of the repair items aren't actually in need of replacement/broken/damaged (and in addition the maintenance items they quoted were 25% higher than where I ended up having these items done...tells you a lot about their pricing). From one oil change, their reputation has gone from above average, to double-negatives. In short, at this point, they're looking to take you for whatever money they can squeeze out of you.
