I've lived here for 5 years…read more The good: My room was in good condition when I arrived, just a little bit of dust here and there. The walls weren't that thin imo, I was able to play music from my speakers in my room without hearing it in the next. The pool, fitness center, study room and package room are all very nice. The shuttle is super convenient and almost always on time. The staff are reasonable and there's always a spot for me to park. Maintenance is quick to fix any problems that I have (the managers that were in charge during the 2023 review were both fired and replaced). The rent is cheeeap, you probably won't find a better package deal with utilities than this in Columbia. The bad: The rooms feel much smaller once you've moved in, mine practically feels like living in a closet now. The awful vinyl blinds for the windows and doors might as well be made of sand, because they disintegrated in under a month of use (and I was charged for replacements on all of them!). I would personally recommend taking down the ones provided and putting up your own, just to avoid damaging them so you get your deposit back. I had phorid flies in my room every summer no matter what I did (I suspect that having the dumpsters in close proximity to the units is a factor). The gigantic windows in every unit both let my room heat up into the 75-80 degree range during the day in the summer, and similarly quite cold in the winter, and the AC vent was installed backwards and directly over said gigantic window. Couches and loveseats in the common room, as well as the older chairs they provided for bedrooms, are made of the worst pleather imaginable, they might as well have been made from skinned Nerf footballs. They peel with normal wear and tear. Was also charged to replace these. The table and the drawers provided all have a ridged surface on them, making it impossible to write on them without a mat. Closet shelves are poorly secured to the walls, and the pegs came out when I put stuff on them. The tracks for my sliding doors in my closet were messed up and the door wouldn't slide, maintenance at least took the doors out for me. Kitchen is extremely poorly ventilated, and any cooking will suffocate every single bedroom and set off every smoke alarm in the unit, even with both the balcony and front door open. Common room has an injurious head-level ceiling lamp, the most outdated non-CRT TV they could find, and more ridged tables. Overall, I'd recommend Campus Lodge if you're looking for a student apartment, this was a direct upgrade from my dorm in Hudson at Mizzou for sure. It's not the greatest, but it held up for my whole undergrad program.

I legit have documentation that states my account balance was at zero and then they sent me to collections the next month. Please avoid this place if you would like to not be sent to collections for no reason.

We've lived here since September 2021. The apartment complex is safe. Parking could be better as…read moreother residents in other buildings as well as their guests tend to park where other residents are suppose to park leaving the residents in a different building to park in the guest parking lot which I know the manager of the property is trying to correct & resolve this issue which overcrowding of the parking lot tends to happen when management & maintenance men are gone for the day. Not to mention on the weekends into Sunday things are pretty crowded as well as being loud but tend to get quiet before 10pm. If we've had any maintenance issues management calls before hand to see if we were home if we wasn't they'd ask if it would be okay for maintenance to enter without us being home. Our maintenance issues would be fixed quickly or when maintenance could get to it as quick as they can as there is only two at the moment. The clubhouse is amazing & also has a tanning bed (located on the top level) and on the lower level is the laundry / gym which is pretty spacious. They have restrooms located in the top & bottom of the clubhouse. They do have computers as well as a printer for residents to use. Their is a dog park also which our dog loves playing in the dog park with our kids. It's about a medium sized area with Ramps & other agility stuff for dogs. Fast Restaurants are nearby like Pizza Hut, KFC, steak & shake, & chipotle. Michael's & Simmons bank is nearby. During winter months when we couldn't get out or was sick we ordered what we needed through Instacart which was quick & the most we had to wait for someone to deliver was 25/30 mins. Everyone that we've met are very nice & respectful of others. Almost all that we've met here have allowed me to pet their dogs & have allowed our kids to pet their dogs as well. A lot of residents have dogs (a couple of different breeds & if our kids ask questions about their dogs breed the owners are kind to tell our kids more information even when we educate our kids more on whichever dog they are wanting to learn more about. Would recommend to others to put their application in for rent.

I really like Tiger Village…read more My husband and I lived in a decent sized apartment just off campus when we first moved the Columbia. The price was nice but the neighbors were not. We were thrilled to find that Tiger Village was so much newer and cleaner, but without costing way more money. The clubhouse has washers and dryers, exercise equipment, a small computer lab, a pretty nice lounge area, and tanning booth. There's also a pool and a fenced-in area for dogs. There are lots of pets here, so they also have stations around the property so pet owners can clean up after their dogs use the bathroom. I would rate it higher, but the apartments can be a little bit cramped. The kitchen doesn't have a ton of storage or counter space. The apartments are also really narrow, which makes circulation a problem. The inside apartments are beautifully insulated during the winter months, but during the summer it gets too hot. The air conditioner is a window unit in the living room and doesn't reach the bedroom at all, and the only window is in the bedroom. In the summer we spend a lot of time in the living room. The closet is the entire length of the bedroom though. The management office recently changed. We used to know the guys really well and they recognized us too, so it's a bummer to have new faces, but the new people are nice too.

Do not live here. In the winter, I had to turn the heat on for the first time and it worked…read morewonderfully for a few days. I left for break and i had a friend come in and check on my cat. She discovered when she arrived that the heat was no longer working properly. My apartment was 98°. The heat would not stop blowing warm air and I had to flip the breaker off to stop it. I then called an emergency maintenance request and they said that "this is not considered enough of an emergency" for them to come in and fix it. After that I had to come all the way here from home to pick up my cat for a few days so she didn't die from the heat. I also had another issue recently where I had to report about my air conditioning not working properly and my apartment being 80° all day. When I called on a sunday (outside business hours) they had an attitude over the phone about receiving my call on a weekend. Also, as someone who works night shift it is impossible to sleep during the day here. Even on weekends there is noisy construction going on nearly every day and it is rarely quiet. There also are lots of bugs in the units. I live on the top floor and I have yet to go a day without seeing a spider INSIDE. They also advertise lots of nice amenities, however the clubhouse had a water leak over 6 months ago. They said that they were going to "figure this out quickly" and they just now found a contractor to repair this amenity 6 months later. We also received no compensation for this place lacking the amenities advertised (which I know is difficult for them to do but it did take 6 months for them to figure out a plan and take action). Lastly, I pay extra for a covered parking space. Upon move in I was not told which parking space was mine and I just parked in one nearby my unit. I then was nearly towed because of this issue and it being someone else's spot. And then, when I did end up asking which spot I should use I had issues with people parking in the spot that I pay for because they aren't marked well enough. There were at least 10 times this year I had to contact the office to tow someone from my spot. And then, sometimes they would just text the owner of the car and wait for them to move it sometimes causing it to be hours or up until the evening when I could get my spot back. I could honestly go on and on but I think there's enough bad reviews on here. I just wanted to cover a few things other people haven't.

Had an issue on a Sunday, left a message and was quickly contacted by Andrew. He was very prompt…read moreand helped resolve a very trying issue. Service can be a scarce commodity in todays world, but Andrew really went above and beyond. Thank you.

I am an online student and struggling to graduate lol. I will be finishing hopefully by August of…read morethis year of 2026. I use to like this school but now it sucks, waaaayyyyy toooooo much writing. Too much writing, I haven't learned absolutely nothing on the last past year and a half because of writing. "Literally nothing", myself and other students communicate and all we talk about is "I will glad when this semester is over".. That's sad!!! When you have lots of students are hurt and complaining about the same thing and the school doesn't do anything, there's a problem. All this school is for is your money., not once this school nor their instructors, faculty nor staff reached out to me nor any of the other students for any of our concerns. "So what that tells you".. ALSO, THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE SINGLE PERSON FROM THIS SCHOOL REACHED OUT TO US ABOUT STUDENTS SUCCESS OR BEING SUCCESSFUL OR HELPING IS BECOME SUCCESSFUL, NO ONE. I had to write a paper, I finished it and turned it in, it got sent back because it says it was done 100% AI, AI detected it and says it was flagged so I had to redo the paper, "I only went to AI for spelling and punctuation and grammar and those such thing", so they asked for the name of my computer, my software it used, the developer and a few other things they mentioned. So I rewrote the paper and turned it in just as it was, didnt care about none of the rest, spelling, grammar, periods, commas, quotations marks, dashes, none of it, just turned it in. They sent it right back and said it detected 100% AI detection again. You can see where I am going with this, so I acted a little foolish you know, so moving alone. Another thing is, the majority of the online classes are Proctor exams, this is the only school that we know of that has this crap. I took an exam an it flagged me because I moved my head several times, my prescription glasses was dark, I looked down too many times, and the lists continues. Proctor exam is when they want you to use your home computer while taking exams while using your cameras from your desktop or laptop during the whole duration of the test. My test was 75 mins, for my midterm and my finals. Ive contacted other schools so I can transfer away from here and each school I contacted responded theirs no way we will do our students like that, the way we do it is, a student can go to the school and take a test if they are having issues with their computers or medical reasons, or some sort of ways they can't be at home to perform their testing. This school sucks, all they care about is money money money. Not once I have experience any success or a successful moment with them, not once.. Not a single joyful class, instructor, just nothing, only thing good is recruiting for school, thats it.
