Awesome College ,my Veteran Dad found this school through Army recommendations we attended a tour and I enrolled on the spot. The school is well connected to government, army and police force with numerous nation wide campuses if you need to move and device to furth your education... I had teachers who worked I. Wall street and taught at Columbia ,NYC and teachers that where Doctors ,also professors who where in the army overseas and had World class experiences to teach on politics and psychology.I transferred to New York State University and I really missed the private College treatment, atmosphere and more intimate teaching. The s hook help catch on subjects my high school did had not fully covered well like economics, finance, and political science .a read more

I am an online student and struggling to graduate lol. I will be finishing hopefully by August of this year of 2026. I use to like this school but now it sucks, waaaayyyyy toooooo much writing. Too much writing, I haven't learned absolutely nothing on the last past year and a half because of writing. "Literally nothing", myself and other students communicate and all we talk about is "I will glad when this semester is over".. That's sad!!! When you have lots of students are hurt and complaining about the same thing and the school doesn't do anything, there's a problem. All this school is for is your money., not once this school nor their instructors, faculty nor staff reached out to me nor any of the other students for any of our concerns. "So what that tells you".. ALSO, THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE SINGLE PERSON FROM THIS SCHOOL REACHED OUT TO US ABOUT STUDENTS SUCCESS OR BEING SUCCESSFUL OR HELPING IS BECOME SUCCESSFUL, NO ONE. I had to write a paper, I finished it and turned it in, it got sent back because it says it was done 100% AI, AI detected it and says it was flagged so I had to redo the paper, "I only went to AI for spelling and punctuation and grammar and those such thing", so they asked for the name of my computer, my software it used, the developer and a few other things they mentioned. So I rewrote the paper and turned it in just as it was, didnt care about none of the rest, spelling, grammar, periods, commas, quotations marks, dashes, none of it, just turned it in. They sent it right back and said it detected 100% AI detection again. You can see where I am going with this, so I acted a little foolish you know, so moving alone. Another thing is, the majority of the online classes are Proctor exams, this is the only school that we know of that has this crap. I took an exam an it flagged me because I moved my head several times, my prescription glasses was dark, I looked down too many times, and the lists continues. Proctor exam is when they want you to use your home computer while taking exams while using your cameras from your desktop or laptop during the whole duration of the test. My test was 75 mins, for my midterm and my finals. Ive contacted other schools so I can transfer away from here and each school I contacted responded theirs no way we will do our students like that, the way we do it is, a student can go to the school and take a test if they are having issues with their computers or medical reasons, or some sort of ways they can't be at home to perform their testing. This school sucks, all they care about is money money money. Not once I have experience any success or a successful moment with them, not once.. Not a single joyful class, instructor, just nothing, only thing good is recruiting for school, thats it. read more

I'm a 100% disabled conbat veteran and was told that my tuition for two classes on base at Kings Bay Georgia would be paid for by the VA. I passed my classes and and thought everything was fine, until over a year later I received a bunch of calls from a collection agency stating I owed over $1,100 to Columbia college for my classes. read more

These schools just can't compete with state colleges. It's an unfair fight. I did one semester at Columbia College in Denver (Aurora) and quickly learned that the school would cost - in student loans - many times what I'd pay at a state college in Denver - and could test out of much of the degree requirements there. That's 40 years of hindsight, but little has changed. Columbia had good teachers, but could not possibly provide what the State college could. I've learned it matters little, after a few years in an industry, where you went to school. Try to get the education you need at least possible expense. read more

Columbia college is a horrible college to go to. They don't have enough teachers to cover classes so its mostly online and self-taught. They will tell you that you have enough student aid to cover classes then lie and make you pay out of pocket and not even work with you. so if you want to go to a college that doesn't care about you and will screw you over financially this is the one for you. read more

I have attended several colleges and Columbia College is by far the best college I have attended. I specifically love their TRUintion policy where everything is included, even textbooks. The staff and students are friendly. I would 100% recommend this college to anyone looking for higher education. read more

I have attending Columbia College for about two years, I was a transfer student from St. Louis. The college is very friendly and have great faculty and staff. As others have complained about Financial Aids office they are a bit slow, but most colleges are slow for Financial Aid so this is nothing new. They will notify the students ahead of time multiple times to make sure they paid if there is a lag on the installation payments unless you already have a loan. They have always processed my loans quickly as I have done a few last minute ones, as long as you communicate it's okay. They have a great sense of community and resources for students, they really encourage internships, good mental/ physical health as they have faculties for students, they have programs such as TRIO for first generation students and even trips through departments such as the semster art museum trip for art students. They even have resources for when you graduate college that you can utilize as a professional such as Career Services. Overall it's a great school if you need a smaller classroom setting and a kind community. read more

I've never had this much problem with a school that I've attended. There financial aid office sucks! They make you wait two weeks just to receive your financial aid money. But then if you had sent in a loan and it wasn't approved just yet they make you wait a month just to get your money. The teachers aren't the best, especially on the online aspect. I'm so over it. I'll be transferring to Mizzou so I don't have this happen yet again. Don't go here. read more

this college has very dubious billing practices , my son signed up for a course and didn't pay in a 2 day window and they through him out and then billed him for the entire course. When we protested they turned us over to collections and threatened to sue us. read more

Wonderful online program! Campus itself is easy to navigate, although parking is kind of tough. Abundant selection of classes and majors. Most of the staff is helpful. All in all a great school. read more
