As of 2023, All tax preparers at this practice are enrolled agents (EAs). They do not have any CPAs. I found this to be a significant downside. After leaving Huey and Bjorn our new tax preparer found additional significant discrepancies in prior Huey and Bjorn filings which was both a function of Huey and Bjorn oversights and lack of experience on their part as well. If you have a simple tax return (individual) without any dependents or business then they are probably fine but I would NOT rely on them for anything else.

Working with Libby of The Tax Ladies has turned out to be an unbelievable nightmare and the…read moreabsolute worst professional encounter I've ever had! The lack of accountability for mistakes made coupled with her lack of response (numerous & repeated phone calls & messages left over a 5 mo period) to legitimate questions I had concerning the status of my taxes, has been beyond frustrating! I came to see Libby in March to prepare my fairly straightforward taxes, but because of mistakes she had made & with no sense of urgency on her part it wasn't until mid August that the State & the IRS received them. During this time I had to constantly stay on top of things & make numerous calls to the tax agencies to find out what was going on, since she wasn't returning my calls or keeping me updated on anything. This totally defeats the purpose of paying for this to be handled. Now instead of receiving a refund I am being told that I owe over 10 times that amount. Unfortunately, because I have such little confidence in things at this point, I will be paying someone else to review them. I rarely write reviews, but felt it necessary in order to caution those who may be considering using this business - one that deals with something as important as taxes should certainly be more professional & at the very least accountable -
