I do not like going to OD offices normally.... but my opinion has changed through Dr Horns office and staff! Not only is he fast and efficient, he is kind and respectful. His staff was very efficient and friendly. I was in and out in record time with new glasses ordered! I was delighted when they came in earlier than estimated also... now in the past I've had difficulty getting use to new glasses (trifocals). However it seemed that the transition was quicker and easier. I'm doing well with new set and looking to have my other glass lens updated. Prices were reasonable also!

Dr Welling went above and beyond and though because I am in my fifties it didn't correct my far-sightedness, it did make everything else perfect! No more astigmatism. He also was very kind! I recommend them if you want a really good prescription for glasses or contacts and definitely for the lens replacement surgery. They are a little spendy and very busy but I've always had a great experience.

Long story short I then ended up being enrolled in a test trial at UCLA for stem cell deficiency where I qualified for surgery. Weeks before my procedure in need of a simple scan I called Medford office and they refused to do a simple test for me stating I was "dismissed" because I went elsewhere for care They sent me elsewhere and I wasn't asking for treatment or diagnosis just a TEST! My doctors office from UCLA even called and they said no. My point being is if you are ever referred to another office like OHSU four hours away, make sure you know whether they are going to "dismiss" you where you can't get a simple test done from them.

The Eye…read moreSurgeon Dr. Oliva did a corneal transplant and it is still living and doing well, after 2 previous tries from a different place in California by their eye surgeon, which both failed within 30 days. My new one was transplanted by Dr. Oliva on June 4th, 2024 still going strong 6+ months Later. I feel very grateful to have such a skilled professional working on my eyes. My eye journey will continue for as long as I can see. I will add a new Dr. in the Medical Eye Center for my Glaucoma. We are scheduled to meet soon. Happy to be with such wonderful people!! He was seen at the medical Eye Center in May and found that he needed cataract surgery. We needed to do that after the six month mark from the heart surgery. So we made an appointment in August one week after the six month mark. The morning of our appointment in August they called and canceled it because we need a clearance from the doctor. I don't know exactly why is it that we could not have been told this in May, June or July? Why so cavalierly waste our time over something that they knew ahead of time they needed? It's not respectful it's not efficient and it's definitely no way to treat people.
