They work with you to submit your Insurance forms...although they don't specifically accept dental coverage plans. This allows them to upgrade equipment to keep up with advances in technology. Better for all of us patients!!! They take time to educate you on proper dental care, suggesting electric tooth-brushes for better tooth/gum care. I did not have dental care for 12 years....YES...you read that correct. I used my Philips SoniCare & Eco-Dent tooth powder ALL those years! Then I made an appointment, even a couple of the staff STILL remembered me!!!! I was VERY surprised that my teeth & gums were not in bad shape after that much time away with ANY cleanings & after YEARS of eating cakes, cookies, drinking sodas, juices, etc. I had a "small cavity " just starting to form on ONE tooth! Dr. Ousborne doesn't try to upsell you or add more "needed services" to your bill. He patiently informs you of what IS needed & lets you decide how to proceed. I scheduled, and due to my own fault, I missed the appointment. I called the next day after realizing it, and was met with the MOST rude office manager. She told me that I was blocked from making a new appointment because I missed my "new patient" appointment. I told her I'd been in once before and she said b/c it was an EMERGENCY appointment that I was still considered "new" (mind you this isn't my primary dentist but I was thinking of switching over) so they basically BANNED me for accidentally mixing up the date of my appointment. I went in the office to personally speak with someone in charge and to my surprise, the office manager didn't give the same energy she had over the phone once I dropped in- she then offered to speak with someone to see if I "could get rescheduled" which I later found out SHE could've easily done the reschedule. I don't know what type of games this office is playing, and everytime I've been in there they are empty- they should want the business. I called to the Towson office was promised a call back by the owners and that NEVER happened- that was a week ago. So, I'd say take your business elsewhere if you can.

I knew after that visit that we wouldn't return, but I wanted to take care of my daughter's teeth before discontinuing my appointments (especially since it would be a different dentist). When I came to get the cavities filled, I encountered more rudeness and impatience from Dr. Ajayi. When my daughter didn't do exactly what she asked her to do, she walked out of the room. The hygienist offered ways to help - smaller inserts for my daughter's mouth, cushions for my daughter to sit on to raise her, etc. Dr. Ajayi walked out of the room seven times!!! She spoke negatively about me and my daughter to the dental hygienist in front of my other daughter!!! I have never seen this type of unprofessionalism from a dentist! I am terribly disappointed by their lack of courtesy, compassion, and professionalism.

However, four days post op I was experiencing a significant amount of pain in my lower right extraction site (way worse than the other three) and so I decided to schedule an emergency appointment, as I was worried it could be a dry socket. I met with him at the Towson location for this appointment, and immediately could tell he was having a busy day and was not in the mood to deal with my issue. He had a very condescending tone and demeanor throughout the appointment, and when I expressed my concerns I felt like I was constantly talked over. He expected me to have the knowledge of an oral surgeon when I very much am not, and he barely looked inside my mouth to check on the state of the incisions. I explained that his tone felt condescending and he was exasperated. I then asked to leave and he went to a colleague and said "she called me condescending!" (this was verified to me by another colleague at the practice). I left and then decided to return with my mother present, and my mother was able to experience his lack of bedside manner first hand. He was rude to my mother, so much so that even she had to say something to him about it. I have never felt more disrespected by a medical professional in my life. This was my first experience undergoing surgery and I am now scared to have any more procedures done due to fear of having a doctor that doesn't care for my pain or concerns.
