Everyone's experience with dentistry is unique. And to a lesser extent, any individual's every…read moreappointment experience can be different. This makes reviewing a dentistry practice especially challenging, and finding one that fits you from a Yelp review even more so. That said, I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kiesling and his dental practice. Before yesterday, I have appreciated the semi-annual services I've consumed. They are polite, engaging, and on-time. But before yesterday, I'd not had any work done. I think it's fair to say that I'm no hero when it comes to dentists working on my teeth. I don't know about anyone else's pain threshold, but drilling has always been a nerve-wracking and painful experience; so I wasn't looking forward to having a big old filling replaced and a crack repaired in a different tooth. I needn't have feared, and all my anxiety was for naught. Dr. Kiesling and his assistant were professional and efficient, and I was out of the chair with virtually no pain in what seemed a short time. (Actually, as it turned out, I was in the chair for about an hour!) Wonderful! As I said, I don't expect everyone will react the same. I've had my share of bad dentistry experience. But I believe my teeth are now in capable hands.

If I could rate this with zero stars I would. This was previously a great dental office. I'm not…read moresure what caused the change, but now you cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Receptionists are rude and the business manager is exceptionally unprofessional. My daughter had a tooth replaced. Not only did this practice drag out the procedure into six appointments over the period of seven months, but they changed the cost of the procedure three times. This procedure wasn't covered by our dental insurance. We paid out of pocket. Our insurance company has indicated that this is a predatory practice used to garner more money from a patient. To top this all off I was texted on a Sunday morning from the dentist's personal number to "remind" me of an appointment for the following morning that I wasn't even aware of - barely giving me 24 hours notice. Because I declined without giving them 24 hours notice they have charged me a $100 cancellation fee. This dentist is an unethical Creeper. PAXTON FAMILY DENTAL is NOT ACCREDITED by the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

I've read the positive reviews on here and they are all copy and paste jobs from the 'write a review' website. This laziness alone supports my opinion. I'd honestly rather have my teeth rot and fall out than go to PFD ever again. Deets needs to feel the financial pinch at a minimum. lawsuits and loss of license for abuse at a maximum. Deets is the one who needs to "change his ways."
