One doctor is super sweet and friendly, while the other is rather standoffish--to be quite honest, I never remembered which was Hilton and which was Diminick. After getting my braces off, I missed one follow up appointment and they put me on "inactive" status, meaning I had/have to pay for any other visits out of pocket. I usually don't like to mention names, but one office was (that begins with gh and ends with osh) was particularly rude. I checked Yelp & after reading the reviews for this office I knew I could call this office for help. Sure enough, when I called and began explaining our dilemma, the sweat young Lady who answered said "come on over," asking only our location - as they were closing at 5pm. We drove an hour (each way) out of our way and they GAVE us a package of bands and wouldn't take any money for them! Actions speak so much louder than words, don't they? If I am ever asked who I would trust in this area with my children's or my own orthodontic needs I know what I will tell them & why. I saw I could trust these Good People at Susquehanna Orthodontics. Dr. Brian, himself is fine and helpful, but the office staff and treatment coordinators left me completely disappointed. There were major issues from the start with them never verifying my insurance benefits, then many scheduling hiccups because they are only in Mechanicsburg two days a week on a schedule that rotates every four weeks. They regularly offer me appointments in Carlisle, which is too far to drive for a 10-minute appointment. The last issue was the confusing way I felt I was basically tricked into buying a second retainer when one was already factored into my upfront costs. The staff seems to turn over so often that I hardly ever saw the same people there from one appointment to the next. My teeth look great, but the whole experience left me feeling a sense of "Buyer Beware"!
