Let me start by saying I had a massive fear of the dentist…read more Keyword there is "HAD" haha not anymore! ZERO PAIN ZERO ANXIETY! Dr. Banks and staff are without a doubt the finest dental team in the world. People are like "uh I really like my own dentist" nah, just save it. This isn't arguable. It's a fact. Give these gals all the dental awards. ALL OF THEM! I will 100% be back for my 6 month cleaning. I'm not just gonna totally lie like I always do to other dentists. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. 50,000 gold stars! I would have paid triple for that kind of care. Highly recommend.

The 2 coverages we had did not know about the other companies so they were both being billed as primaries. This dental company was collecting more than the original bill amount. This company had to pay back money to the secondary insurance company. If you have 2 insurance coverage companies, watch the billing. A woman in that department attempted to gaslight me and make me feel like I was the one making a mistake. It was clear who was in the wrong when they paid the secondary insurance company back what was owed back to them. When I transferred to a different dentist, I requested records from this fraudulent dental billing. I was then once again gaslighted and was told I would have to pay for the records to be transferred. I threatened to turn everything over to the Ohio State Attorney General's office. Needless to say I did not pay to have those records transferred. And no, this is not my real name. I am choosing to use an alias to protect my anonymity.

Carrie Fletcher-Clock, DDS - Happy Patient

I recently relocated to Ohio and was in search of a new dental office after being with my previous…read moredentists for over five years. Unfortunately, my experience at Carrie Fletcher-Clock, DDS, in Kettering was far from positive. After reading the reviews, I decided to book a consultation when I needed immediate dental attention. The consult went well, and I initially thought I had found my new dental home--but I was wrong. After the consultation in July, the front desk staff told me they would call me, but I waited two months without hearing anything. When I finally called to follow up, I was met with excuses and no accountability. The front desk blamed the delay on insurance, but as a patient, I wasn't aware of what goes on behind the scenes and felt that even a simple update would have been appreciated. Instead, I was left in the dark with no communication for over two months. When I finally returned for my appointment, I had some follow-up questions based on my conversation with insurance. The dental hygienist ( young lady with blonde hair in bun) was very polite and patient, answering what she could, but Dr. Fletcher-Clock's attitude was shocking. When I asked her questions about my care plan, she told me, "I think you will be a problem," and insinuated that I thought I knew more than her, which was confusing and uncalled for. I wasn't rude at all or challenging her. Multiply time letting her know I AGREEW WITH HER ; I simply wanted clarification and reassurance about my treatment plan. Her dismissive tone and comments about insurance were unprofessional, with statements like "They're probably not even dentists looking at the X-rays. Insurance sucks, and they're in India." I left feeling unheard and shamed for merely seeking information about my own care. Patients should never be made to feel like a burden for asking questions, especially when dental visits can already be anxiety-inducing for some and I tend to experience anxiety when visiting the dentist which is why I had questions and needed to feel safe. What made this experience worse was the lack of accountability. Dr. Fletcher-Clock didn't take any responsibility for the miscommunication, instead blaming me for being "difficult." When I expressed discomfort and wanted to reschedule or reconsider my options, she remarked, "Do you know I blocked off two hours for you?"--as if my time and questions were irrelevant. I responded, "Do you know I've been calling your office for two months with little to no feedback?" I even offered to pay a cancellation fee because I was so uncomfortable (ready to leave) with her tone and statement and to be fair if she felt my questions were a waste of her time. I left the office embarrassed and deeply saddened. Even as I walked out, a staff member (Older lady sitting in chair with dark hair) gave me a dirty look, which added to the already negative experience. This type of treatment is exactly why some patients are afraid to speak up or ask questions at medical and dental offices or refuse to go to the doctor in general. No one should ever feel shamed for wanting to understand their care. This experience was incredibly disappointing, especially after moving to a new state and hoping to find a reliable dental home. It's unfortunate, but I cannot recommend this office based on the lack of communication, professionalism, and care that I received.

I received a bill stating that my insurance was no longer in network. The office said that it was in network, the billing just didn't go through correctly and it's my job to get it fixed or pay for the visit. She said is too busy to deal with insurance and I should feel lucky that she submitted the bill on my behalf. The next day I was contacted and told that since I am not happy with doing my own insurance billing, my family and I should go somewhere else.

So they drilled it again and stuck another filling in. Surprise, surprise--that one fell out too. Now the tooth is so damaged I need a crown, but I can't even afford it because of all the money I wasted here. But that's not the worst part. They installed a crown on my front tooth, and as I was just walking down the hallway--BAM! My tooth falls out like a scene from a horror movie. Their genius solution? They put the crown in a tooth coffin, bonded my teeth together like some Frankenstein experiment, and told me, "Don't eat anything." And when I finally called them out on their terrible work, they didn't try to fix it--they just kicked me out. If you value your teeth, your wallet, and your sanity, avoid this place at all costs. They'll turn your mouth into a money pit and leave you to deal with the damage they caused.
