I was looking for a nightstand and found one I loved, along with a farm bench I was not currently shopping for, by the same vendor. Though both were very reasonably priced, it was a little more than I had planned to spend this day. I asked the owner if she would see if the vendor might consider a bundle discount. She was very sweet and quick to consider and follow through with my request. The vendor also quickly offered a discount for which I was extremely grateful. During this chat I had measured and was sad to figure out the bench would be too big. I happily took the nightstand and meanwhile the owner followed up with the vendor and me to hook me up with a brand new bench the vendor had been working on that was exactly the size I needed. The owner stayed in prompt and consistent touch with me, and I now have a bench that I adore, perfect size, and the store and vendor still honored the initial discussed discount without my asking again. I have always found adorable, unique, special pieces and decor at great prices. Please give this store your business and bring your friends, you'll be as happy as me!

Selection is eclectic in a good way, just like thrift shopping you have to go in with low expectations and you will find gems. I'm not saying that the quality is low, more to say that you will be surprised about what you are able to find and you will go home pleased with your findings. Ended up picking up bar stools for a fraction of the cost at any of the store nearby, and even ikea. We love them and have come back many times for various other furniture. I don't come in with any thoughts about what I might want, and I always leave feeling content.

These are professionals. I was driving along Crystal Lake Drive, and a crew from Shonnards was doing some maintenance. I observed their crew using a power blower to blow debris BACK INTO THE BEDS instead of blowing debris farther into the street like so many other landscape maintenance folks seem to do. Often the mow-blow-go guys just blow all the clippings into the street even though it violates city code and is just obnoxious. I'm going to refrain from naming names of other landscape service providers that do this, but maybe I'll write some reviews soon and call 'em out on it if they don't stop. I've even seen downtown businesses blowing leaves into the street. Shame on them. If I needed some landscape maintenance services, I would call up Shonnard's just for this one thing I observed because it shows they care. Thank you Shonnard's!

There were plenty of staff around; I received numerous offers of help, and the cashier who helped us was really nice and welcomed us to their town. The options for gifts were plentiful, with everything from purses to candles to preserves to clothing to dishes and fun kitchen gadgets. (The shop is attached to a furniture store that looked beautiful, but we didn't spend time there.) They also sold local postcards, greeting cards, and other Oregon-themed gifts. We purchased a beautiful blown-glass Christmas ornament for ourselves and numerous small gifts for my parents. The prices were what I would have expected -- not cheap, but the items were nice and well-made, and the prices felt fair for what we purchased. I highly recommend this shop.

As many of you know, furniture is a long-term investment, and the shopping experience should come with attentive, knowledgeable staff who help guide you through that process. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt more observed than welcomed. One employee made eye contact and immediately turned away, and as we continued browsing--essentially left to "prospect" on our own--there was little effort to engage or assist us. On our way out, another staff member offered a brief hello but never followed up to ask if we needed help. When you're making a significant purchase like furniture, customer service matters just as much as the product. Sadly, this visit left us feeling overlooked rather than valued. We later found our couch at another location and will receive it in 30 to 60 days due to the customization we requested. We are happy to have found a place that truly understood what we were looking for our home.

Alex came with a truck and packed/secured everything very carefully and had a very pleasant and informative attitude. My furniture was taken to the business and I received a list of the items to review the next morning. They even took an item I didn't have on my original list - a grandfather clock. They followed up with me the next day and also sent an email link for me to set up a personal account so I can follow the sales activity and also receive direct deposit to my bank account when items sell. The process couldn't have been easier. Some of the antique stores in Albany never even called me back and the owner of one store set up an appointment but never showed up. The personnel at Corvallis Consignment couldn't have been more professional / helpful. I highly recommend this business.

Before informing, she repeated that she thought that hand sawing my rather thin boards was a BAD idea and would take a very long time--to which I replied that I had time. She kept repeating her opinion again and again before leading to an in-store handsaw station and recommending that I actually just buy completely different boards so that they didn't need to be cut. I told her that I already had the boards in hand which I DID WANT and she told me again that she could only cut off feet. I was tired of this interaction and just had her cut off a 1-foot section from two boards, and 2 feet from another. Only one of the 1-footers was actually 12 inches, the other was 30cm. I ended up purchasing my own hand saw for remaining cuts. My visit was otherwise fine, but I see no reason for this employee to give such attitude and snark to customer simply asking for boards to be cut--a service which Home Depot is supposed to provide with ease. The employee was a dark-haired woman with a ponytail... slightly older. The handsaw I purchase works great! A fantastic item to own so that I don't disrupt any more Home Depot employees by asking them to cut wood.
