We LOVED this place! It's in a 3 story historic villa that's really lovely. A hostess gave us a little tour of the other floors afterwards. The original owner was an architect who built it for lavish parties, as he loved cooking, but his wife became quite ill. Then our waiter told us a Jewish family had owned it, was forced out because of WW2, but that the family never recovered the property. I'm a little confused, and furthermore as the website says Galician food (Spanish) and the website also sited modern European, Polish and Ukrainian food. My husband had just met up with us, after doing some anti-corruption work in Ukraine, so that caught our eye. The setting was a combo of romance, elegance and history, and despite a bit of confusion of what it was all about, the food was amazing. So much so, that I made a little video. The octopus presentation was spectacular, we were given a delicious complimentary appetizer, and everything exceeded our expectations. read more
