This gym is always so clean and the equipment is old school which works and I love. The trainers and owners are extremely knowledgeable! They are always willing to help you out or show you a new way to do things. Definitely a good community gym. PLUS, the have a bay door they open when its nice!

This gym is fine for machines. There really are no nice amenities except for a sauna and steam…read moreroom. No pool or racquetball courts, like LA Fitness has. I've been coming here for a year. I didn't want to write a review until I really had some time to reflect. I took one Saturday boot camp class but got turned off. It was fun until I got to the back room, run by a big, bald guy (Deshawn, I think?) who thought it would be fun to embarrass me by obnoxiously shouting out, "Let's go, Gossip Girl!!" All I was doing was asking my neighbor what to do since he certainly didn't explain what he wanted. Just assumed. Imagine how I felt being new at the gym and a first-timer at boot camp. He walks around with a constant pissy look on his face, always looking at his phone, playing with his keys, or in his office (third one on the left), looking at his monitor. The other trainers are very nice and pleasant but there constantly new faces in there so that tells me a lot Then, of course, you have your typical creepy, old man gym-rat, who struts around like he owns the gym, refuses to clean his machines, and mansplains to women how to use THEIR machines LOL. Yep, ladies, he's there! I took a few of their Zumba classes. The instructors are very nice but they barely play Latin music or demonstrate any type of Latin dance steps. So the Zumba classes are basically just aerobic classes. Still a workout. Also, the vertical blinds in there have been broken FOREVER and the sun comes right in, making that room VERY hot. The Dance Jam class is fun! The instructor is fit and has MORE Zumba moves and Latin music than their actual Zumba classes. That's the only class I'd recommend. Cleanliness - it's pretty clean in most places. I did watch a trainer "cleaning" the treadmills last week and he skipped over the nasty cup holders completely on ALL of them. Also - the front doors are disgustingly filthy on the outside. Haven't been cleaned in at least a year. Just sayin'. Helpful hint - wipe down your machines BEFORE you touch them. Most of the people do NOT clean up their sweaty machines when they're done.

I'm extremely excited for them to open up their second studio in the East. This location is so easy to find, and parking is a breeze. Classes here are generally 45 minutes, and they're slowly integrating beginner and mobility workshops. They're such a great group of beautiful talented trainers who support you through out the entire class. It's like a group personal training session if you've never had the opportunity to experience a Reformer's Pilates class. The trainers really know their anatomy and teach you how to properly engage your muscles with proper form and technique. They're also so wonderful at taking feedback and really want what's best for you, so if you ever have any ideas on things you want to see in the studio, they're all ears. Every one of my friends who I've brought here have been hooked on the intensity, the tribe vibes, and technicality of the variety of classes they offer. They get to know you individually and your strengths & weaknesses to make sure that you're doing what's most optimal for your body, there's always variations that they provide if you have physical limitations. So it's super important to communicate that to your trainer so you can get the most out of your session. The facility itself is beautiful and always so clean, even with all the foot traffic this studio receives. I love that they have toiletries in the restroom for you to freshen up with after class. & the theragun is so therapeutic after the sweat sesh. If you're looking for some motivation and a great community to be surrounded by, I highly recommend checking this studio out.

Also on 8/5/26: 30% of the indoor bikes are broken. Can there be more urgency for repairing broken parts? We should not wait for one year for broken parts to be repaired.

I joined the gym last year when i was in town on work. Fine, functional. After I left a few months, card was an auto charge. Called the front desk and said I would cancel. Said they can't do that over the phone. I have to come in person. Said I don't live there. They said tough. 1 year of auto charges that I let happen without fixing. Fine, my bed. Card on file went off. Several calls every day. Finally answer. Try to explain I don't want the membership, can they cancel. No, I have to write a letter or something. Asked to speak with a manager. Argue a bit. Customer service rep / front desk agent says: "A manager can't help you and I won't transfer you anyway because I'm 17 and you need to show a bit of respect." 17 year old hangs up on me. I call back, get a manager, explain the situation, ask for her to cancel the members, she says she can't, she has policies, policies dictate me writing a letter and more hoop jumping. Ugh. Anyway, that's my experience. Pretty bad overall.

The guy that fixes and does maintenance is very sweet. The only thing I would say, which is something 24 is not fault for is the fact that people spit their gum outside in the front. I don't know why people do this, but it's not cool. They also provide paper towels and sanitizer, which is really nice. I do wish more people cleaned up after they are done with the equipment though! I enjoy working out there!!

I belonged to 24 hour fitness before Covid and I have since started going to a community center…read moregym. Since 24HF has senior fitness classes on the days that my community center doesn't, I decided to go. I'm older and use the One Pass that comes with Medicare Insurance. When I approached the classroom where the senior fitness classes are taught, I was appalled at how crowded it was. There were at least 50 people in the room, possibly more. There wasn't enough room to move around without smacking the person next to you. I told The downstairs person (who was working alone and running all over the gym doing other duties). He told me that they are allowed 60 people in that class. I asked if they check to make sure every person is reserved? And they don't. Yes, I get my membership for free. But before Covid I paid around $700/a year for my membership and that would really piss me off to try to go to a class that was not being managed as far as reservations and overcrowding go. I think I'm going to look into a different gym for my extra workout workouts.

A great value for convenient workouts!…read more Not only is all the equipment well maintained, the exercise room, flexibility equipment, and bathrooms are spotless. Best of all, the previous franchisee and the current franchisee have been wonderful to deal with. No nonsense, no hidden fees. The large glass windows give you something to look at besides a TV if you're trying to gut out a boring workout on the glider when it's raining out. If I've ever had a bad workout out here, it's because it's small enough that just one other person in the gym can make your workout miserable. It only takes one bonehead who likes cranking The 700 Club and Fox News to 90 dB while you're trying to finish off an upper body superset to make you wish you'd brought some noise cancellation equipment to shut out the cacophony. Yeah, that person is real, as is the person who likes to leash her aggressive pit bull to the door while she works out. It's not really the franchisee's fault, but it is reflective of the gym's clientele, location, and layout. Even with that nit, if you just want to get in, do a workout, and get out, this is the best place on the West Side to make it happen. P.S. The gym is actually open to customers 24 hours a day. The business hours in the yelp description refer to the times when someone is there for membership services.

They've been hemorrhaging members ever since they increased their prices substantially--$35 MORE per month. This is double what they were originally charging. If they don't reduce their prices, they're just going to keep losing members, especially those who joined when they first opened. The only thing that kept me at Snap was the price, but since they've increased it across the board, I'm happy to switch to another gym (West Coast, Crunch, etc.) who offers more equipment, digital scan check-in, towel service, and a large stretching room that isn't always full or occupied by a class. Their semi-new "recovery lounge" is the reason for the steep price increase. Rather than offering it as a separate add-on fee, they decided to add the fee onto everyone's monthly memberships, knowing very well that no one ever uses the lounge. Honestly, they'd have much better luck swallowing the cost of the expensive lounge and reducing their membership fees in order to attract new/former members. No one's going to pay $70/month on a gym membership. They don't even have digital scan check-in and you still have to use a physical key card to get in. Most other gyms have adopted the digital scan through your phone. Also, if you lose your card, it's $15 for a replacement card. It boggles my mind that Snap held a Member Appreciation week event recently. If they truly appreciated their members, they wouldn't have increased their prices a few months prior...
