I have been in the residential rental business since 2012. Julie P was my Property Manager from 2014 to 2021. She was able to keep my Maryland unit occupied, with quality tenants and was more than able to mitigate issues that arose throughout the time she was managing the unit. Some of these little things that she managed were: Water damage incurred from a neighboring unit. Selecting contractors to replace/repair an Air-Conditioning unit Hurricane Damage. Working with the Adjustor to let them in and out. One instance of Fire Fighters kicking in the door to clear the unit during a building fire alarm. Working with contractors to replace the door the above firefighters kicked in. Coordinating with the Units HOA to allow various pool access, resolve parking issues, package delivery Keeping me in the loop during the entire duration. I do not feel she ever over-stepped her bounds, but at the same time took initiative where she was allowed. Accounts Payable documentation made sense, and the tax forms arrived on time. She was also able to act as the sellers agent, and was able to get the unit listed, posted, and sold in a very reasonable time. (This is why she is no longer the Managing Agent of my unit.) She was able to sell it! If I had any other units in the DC/VA/MD area, she would be my go to person for property management. read more

Mary and Wilkinson PM made every effort to make the house comfortable to rent. Just having bought a house that didn't get regular maintenance checks, it shouldn't be taken lightly. The house was in good shape and at a very good monthly rent for a 3 bed 2.5 bath. They stayed on top of HVAC maintenance and pest control. Mary was responsive to maintenance requests. She even had the walls repainted when the touch up painting before we moved in didn't go well. We took good care of the property as tenants and there were no issues at move out. They found a new tenant on short notice and allowed us to move out early to avoid paying for two houses. Overall it was a great experience. read more
