I do like the range of sizes in this shop, I think a lot of other shops would benefit from having…read morelarger sizes, not just size 6. The clothes appear to be good quality with good ranges, although they can be out of stock of some sizes which is frustrating. The only thing that lets them down is that their prices are so expensive, when are they going to learn that if they put prices down people will buy more so in the end they will make more doh!!

The store has for a long time had a problem with the interior being flooded and as a result looks rather shabby and unpleasant inside. There are often buckets and pots (still for sale) which are set around the store to catch any drips coming from the celing! Apart from this problem, the actual merchandise available is great. The staff here are competent and quick to serve people at the tills. No staff on the floor as far as I have seen but I have always found what I wanted without needing any help.

The area where the flooding used to…read morehappen has now become a stockroom and has been blocked off so can now no longer be seen, this unfortunately means the store itself is smaller, however personally I think it is better as the store doesn't look as shabby and even more appealing to me are the prices, you can get everything in here and if you look around hard enough you can find things even cheaper than they should be! They run various deals throughout the year and for various occasions, afterwards all the stock from that occasion is sold off at a very low price!! The staff are always friendly and look tidy and are more than competant. They are always available to help should you need it!

Gifts and comedy items and comedy cards are particularly good here. Prices vary but expect to pay at least £1 for a card here. Staff are pleasant and talkative.

Clintons sell a fantastic array of cards and other small bits like teddies, banners for birthdays,…read morewedding gifts, photo frames etc. This shop is quite small, and has plenty of competition, however it always has customers. Personally I am not a fan of clintons, mainly due to their prices that are charged, even though the products are lovely I feel they are highly overpriced when a few shops down you could buy a card just as nice for a quarter of the price!
