Wilkins RV is the BEST around. My husband and I are new camper owners and we have had our share of bad service but Wilkins immediately welcomed us to the family. Our salesman Bill Kennedy, for starters, bleeds hard work and all around customer satisfaction. About a month or two ago we came in after visiting/being treated poorly by Camping World, Burdicks, and Gander Mountain. He spent approximately 2-3 hours just showing us different options and helped make our decision on what we liked. He has lots of knowledge and is out to make a sale but also to serve the customer and do what's best for the customer NOT just himself. We waited about a month and decided it was time. We couldn't make up our mind on which we liked better and Bill was so patient and understanding. He even came in on his day off (without letting us know it was his day off) just to make sure we were squared away. Finally we decided that a 2019 Coachmen Apex Ultra Lite was the one for us. He insured we got all of our wants including vent overs, back up camera etc. Today we received a top of the line walk through by their service guy. Ray. If you don't know Ray. You NEED TO KNOW RAY. He is the Albert Einstein of Campers. He knows them all inside and out. He gave us a solid hour to hour and a half of just slowly going through showing us what to do, how to do it, and the important pieces of information. Their was a running light out the day of pick up, totally a manufacturer fluke. Ray saw it, told us about it, and would not allow us to leave until he fixed it. Which he did. He was great. And said if you have ANY questions to call him up, and he will walk us through it. After our walk through of the camper, we got a walk through of the necessitates from Justin. He showed us what was necessary and what wasn't! He had our best interests in mind and insured that we were not just buying things for no reason. He gave us a great overview of things necessary. Overall, this was the best buying experience we have ever had. Out of cars, motorcycles, and many other large purchases such as our home. Hands down, the best. Very disappointing experience with Wilkinson RV in Brewerton. We purchased a brand-new camper from Wilkinson RV, and the problems started before we even left with it. When we arrived to pick it up, we were told the microwave was defective. In my opinion, that should have been caught and corrected before the camper was ever sold or delivered to us. They removed the microwave and said a new one would be provided. We did eventually receive one, but the front faceplate was missing. Since we bought the camper in the fall, we winterized it, parked it inside, flushed it out, and checked things over before using it. Once spring came and we started getting ready for our first camping trip, we discovered more issues. The sink was only partially connected, nothing underneath seemed properly tightened, and the shower leaked inside. Some fittings also appeared to be over-tightened and started leaking as soon as we tried to use the camper. When we called and explained the situation, we ultimately decided to take it somewhere else to have the repairs done properly. That cost us about $1,000 out of pocket. This should have never happened after purchasing a brand new camper from them for over $25,000. Buying a brand-new camper should not come with this many issues right from the start. Lesson learned. We will never buy from Wilkinson RV again. read more

Don't waste your time. There is a huge lack of communication throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, we learned that after signing our paperwork. During delivery, the salesperson actually broke the bedroom door while trying to get into the back bedroom. It wasn't even put on a work order until our walkthrough two weeks later. It feels like the moment we signed the paperwork, customer service went completely downhill. The dealership is extremely difficult to get ahold of. Phone calls often go unanswered, and getting updates on repairs or concerns has been frustrating and time-consuming. I'm not someone who normally leaves reviews, but we purchased a brand-new camper and it has been nothing but a headache. I'm hoping to save someone else the frustration and suggest looking at another dealer before making a purchase here. The cleaning crew had been in our camper twice, yet when we pointed out the issues, I was met with, "Sorry it's not up to your standards." That response was unacceptable, especially after spending a significant amount of money on a new camper. What has been most disappointing is how disregarded we have felt throughout this process. Concerns are brushed aside rather than addressed, and the way some employees speak to customers when they are simply trying to resolve problems is unprofessional and disrespectful. We've made multiple trips back and forth to the dealership--over three hours round trip each time--and very little has been accomplished. To make matters worse, they don't offer buybacks, so now I'm stuck in a camper I'm unhappy with and dealing with a company that has been terrible to work with for service and warranty issues. And the issues mentioned above are only some of the problems we've dealt with since purchasing our camper. There have been multiple other concerns and frustrations along the way that have turned what should have been an exciting purchase into a stressful and disappointing experience. My 2021 Gulf Stream trailer was obviously built at the company Christmas Party. I bought my new trailer in Victor, NY for 24,000.00$ and it gas so many small problems that I am mystified they are in business. The first part fell off with-in the distance of less than fifty miles. Soon there were trim parts inside all over the floor. Gulf Stream was of no help, all complaints went unanswered for two months. Wilkins was not any help either...untill I started to get after them. I bought the new camper almost a year ago and nothing has been done about anything. I was told by the Victor Service department that the Service Manager, Jackie would not talk to me...she is too busy. Anyway I am waiting and will report how this mess is handled, I have zero faith. Buyer BEWARE!!! Wilkins took my credit card for a deposit on a used camper. The following afternoon the financial manager called me to say they screwed up and sold my camper to someone else. I assume for more money. He was very sorry and this never happened before. I asked why he was calling me, I never spoke to him in my life. I asked to speak with the owner of the company but was refused. Then I got a call from the vise president to say how sorry he was for their mess up. The vise president assured me that they would "make it right" Then, after several days of me bugging them to find me a camper with little respons, he offered to let me buy a new camper for $2500 more then other dealerships. did not put heat pads on tanks that w ere in the contract and lied when they said tankless hot water heaters were discontinued because they were a fire hazard, but they did compensate us with a 150,00 store credit for the heat pads but did nothing for the hot water on demand! They did install A aftermarket toilet for us so I should thank them for this service, as for the camper Iam disappointed that it did not come with a spare and this will be another expense that I will have to pay for read more

Buying experience was great delivery was great paperwork went smooth I got the camper home put the slide put for the first time and when I put it back in it gouged the floor Sent pictures to service dept who was going to send them to the warranty dept I've called the service dept a few times and have gotten no where. We've purchased 3 travel trailers thru you, every time we had to deal with someone different, over all its ok but trade in value was very low on a year old unit but was marked way up on the website for resale!!! Not a situation I prefer!! When it comes to refunds forget it! The worste company ever!!! WE love the Alliance Avenue but are still having some problems, no TV reception no matter where we are, and we took it back to be checked once already. It isn't the antennae because the signal works fine on the small TV in the bedroom. Had a successful revisit with the oven and it is working now, but we are still waiting for the sink cover, which they said they ordered and a new awning which was incorrectly cut on initial placement. We were shopping for a ne RV as our insurance company had totaled our old one. We had been to several dealers before stopping at Wilkin's. Our salesman greeted us with a handshake and eagerly listened to our needs and wants concerning our RV purchase, and lead us to several that fit that description. He even met us at a second location to look at units there. That's where we found our new RV. The service department had it set up and ready to go almost immediately! We purchased in the middle of covid crisis. Team members from Wilkins flat out refused to wear PPEs while coming in close contact with us. They claimed it was "their prerogative" and even when we requested they do so (since they would be showing us the inside of the camper) they still refused. If it were up to me, I would've walked away from the deal and never looked back. My parents recommended Wilkins RV and my husband and I had already shopped around at a few other locations that were either pricey, high sales pitch, and added expensive overall fees that would have been added to the camper price. Wilkins was pretty low key, super friendly and gave me options without the pushy sales feeling and they didnt have this ridiculous extra fee to check the camper. The price we paid was super reasonable too!! After deciding yo purchase our first camper the service rep went over every inch of what things were and how to work them.. sometimes explaining them twice so i could video him so we could have something to referred to when we are out on our own. The only issue we had was when we did the inspection a piece of the door was broken but they noted it right away to replace it!! We camped that weekend with it and was in love! We look forward to purchasing another camper from them when we are ready to upgrade!!! read more

We bought a camper a week and a half ago. We had a 1:00 appt today to pick it up. Here we are at 2:42 and the camper is STILL not even close to being ready to go. They have done nothing to even close it up let alone get it ready for us to take it home. The service people are just sitting around not even putting the brake box in which should have taken 5 minutes, nor have they fixed the molding that their own guy pointed out. I am stuck sitting outside in the gravel in this incredible heat as they have taken our truck while they do nothing with it. I would NEVER recomend them to anyone. NEVER did we have such problems with Jim's RV in Nichol's. Wilkin's doesn't abide by their own schedule and they all just si5 around doing nothing while we continue to wait for our camper and truck, literally for hours. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Oh, and only 1 of the service people were even wearing a mask or staying 6 feet away. read more
