Firm insisted on having me pay for a consultation before even making a decision as to whether or not they would take my case. My facts and evidence are stronger than 99% of the "purely speculative" cases they do take. This is why I insisted on them telling me if they would take cases against a government BEFORE setting up/paying for consultation. As I predicted, the immediately declined to have any involvement with an opposing party is a governmental entity. Had I not pushed for a response, I would've been out $500 for their firm to just tell me that they don't take cases against the government. While firms have the right to choose their cases, $250 is a significant amount to pay for a simple 'no.'
