A mix of public school with online school creates a poor work environment. If only the smiling…read morefaces of the staff were more than skin deep. There are plenty of kids here who deserve a better education from respectable staff. And I state firmly the staff here does maintain true respect and responsibility. The glamor is only skin deep. A polite smile. I believe some staff deserve to be legally held accountable. Luckily the poor kids at the office cover all that up. If only most of the money didnt go into a poor building that leans. If only the staff wneren't needing strong words that are not used very often. I find it grotesque to even think of. Poor leadership affects all of our governments and neighborhoods. I hope you find a better place as I sure did. If you wanted weird you get more than your fill.

My grandson Aiden, graduated from Schelastic this year, 2025!!…read more He started going because he was being bullied and harassed at the school he was in. The school couldnt do anything about it. Poor guy, he was so depressed. All of that changed when he started going to Schelastic Academy. What a positive, safe environment it was for him. He worked hard, he persevere and grew into a wonderful young man. This school works with the kids so they feel loved and accepted. And their education programs thru the computer is self paced, but they do need to keep on top of their studies. I have enjoyed and love this school for my grandson. It will be a wonderful school to watch your child grow and achieve and grasp everything they can through Schelastic Academy.

I DREAD the time that it's time to schedule classes. The advisors are hardly ever available, and if…read moreyou are an online student, it's SUPER hard to get them to respond to emails, or for them to see you, because I mean, how would they see you if they don't even respond to the emails? Then they talk about "same day appointments," you show up, as early as you physically can because (what if you work or have children, HENSE US BEING ON LINE) anyways, you get there and they turn you around saying there's "no more slots available," like what!? By the time you get any help, or any answers, most of the slots for the classes are TAKEN so you have to either enroll for some BS class, or take a class you didn't even want to, in that particular semester. It's almost like they put the online students on the back burner, and IT SUCKS!!!!!! Like they make it so inconvenient & it makes me soooo angry!!!! There's literally NO HELP!!! Idk about other departments, but the SOCIAL WORK DEPARTMENT/ADVISORS, omg, NO!!!!! It would be better if they had MORE THAN ONE freaking advisor per group of last names!!! One advisor per one group of last names is absurd. It slows things down, it makes people frustrated, and discouraged!!!!!!!!!!!!! Idk, I'm kind of regretting starting the social work program here at this school. I am so perplexed, angry, upset, overwhelmed, and this is the end/beginning of EVERY SINGLE SEMESTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Experience with the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA)…read more Unfortunately, my experience with the University of Texas at Arlington has been extremely disappointing. As a new student navigating an online nursing program, I expected clear communication, proper guidance, and support from the university. Instead, I received conflicting information from multiple individuals and struggled to get clear answers about my academic and financial responsibilities. I sought advising assistance because I was experiencing difficulty with NURS 3366 - Pathophysiologic Processes. Unfortunately, I was not adequately informed about the financial consequences associated with my situation before I was dropped from the course. I made repeated attempts to contact UTA's advising, financial aid, and student account services departments to resolve the issue, but the process left me frustrated and feeling unheard. I was eventually able to get an outcome only after being dropped from my classes. By that point, the situation had already caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I also communicated my concerns to the appropriate individuals, but I did not feel that my concerns were adequately addressed. What has been most disappointing is the lack of consistent information and the difficulty of getting a straightforward resolution. Students should not have to make repeated calls, contact multiple departments, and struggle to understand policies that directly affect their education and finances. I believe universities have a responsibility to provide transparent communication, accessible student support, and accurate guidance, especially for students who are new to the institution and trying to navigate its processes. I hope UTA takes student concerns like mine seriously and reviews how these situations are handled in the future. My experience has taught me how important it is to document conversations, keep records, and seek clarification whenever information is unclear. Overall, my experience with UTA did not meet my expectations, and I hope the university makes meaningful improvements so future students do not have to go through a similar situation.
