We've camped in our older travel trailer. ( 2006 ) for one less hurrah before it's retired., from coast to coast, and have stayed at many every parks and campgrounds. This one has so far been the best unkept secrecy we've been to. With Florida's agratorisim this place is a working cattle and goat farm. It sits on 572 acres of beautiful grounds and lake. Has to be Florida's best kept secrets. It's close to all Florida has to offer. Close to Disney world and other main attractions if you're here to visit all that. We were not. Just suppose to be a drive thru for us on our way back to California. Ended up staying long almost a week because I just didn't want to leave. They have clean showers and restrooms and the park is so well maintained. The people that work here like Thomas the park manager and Betty in customer relations were very helpful and knowledgeable about the farm and all it has to offer, which is quite a lot to list here. Even their volunteers, I'm sorry I forgot her name. Please forgive me but I'm old and can't remember everything. Are nice and informative about the area. It has to be the best part of our vacation. It's not a parking lot like most RV parks ( Koa's) and others like it. It's a perfect place for family's and couples. Not crowded (yet). Camp sizes are large and spacious for spreading out. (Note to self), Must bring fishing gear for next time. They allowed my two big dogs to run leash free in the goat pin. I was afraid to close in my dogs with the goats, but did allow them in while goats were out running loose on property. One goat did head buck one of my dogs and hurt the my boys feelings more than anything else. But taught him to keep his distance. We rented a small paddle boat for exploring the little island which seems to be a work in progress. Looks like the owners are preparing small inlets for tent camping. Very private areas. But still maintained even in construction. Guests are allowed to wonder nearly all 572 acres. Interact with the animals and learn from the knowledgeable staff. This place is a work in progress and I think it always will be with the owners vision of the place it will only get better and better. If I ever get to travel back to Florida this will be the place I make my destination too. Highly recommend, but hope it never becomes to crowed. It will, but loved the seclusion I felt even with other campers nearby. It's located in Saddleback but don't confuse with the other campground that felt like a vagabond gypsy type place, I'm so grateful we didn't stay there and that we found this place.

    Beautiful oaks.

Amazing 700 acre property on the water. Easy walking, riding, ATV-ing. Tent sites RIGHT ON THE WATER. Private updated bathrooms. Shower, vanity, toilet. The best part. Beautiful friendly cows waking you up at 7::30 am. What an exciting surprise! Saw a real live cattle drive as they moved them to greener and shadier pastures for the day. Many of the cows roam free around the campsites multiple times per day. Watch out for those cow paddy's. Friendly goats of many varieties are eager to be petted. "Penny Loafer" is the cutest miniature Nigerian Pigmy goat I've ever encountered. So many bridges to get you to multiple lakes and ponds. Beautiful birds everywhere. We watched Osprey fishing from our campsite every day. Doesn't look like much at first sight but...once you explore the whole property....there are also horses and very friendly donkeys that love to be petted. This is a working cattle ranch that allows guests to stay on the property.

What a hidden gem! We were blown away with how absolutely BEAUTIFUL the property was. A large group of friends and I camped on the shoreline of the lake and it was incredible. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with TP, staff was wonderful and accommodating and all the animals were an extra added bonus! The kids had a blast too! We brought our paddle boards and paddled around the lake which was so much fun. We can not WAIT to go back! Don't hesitate! Book now!

Roam around free ( except gator never saw it) wildlife never bothered us. It was fun to watch them though. The staff was very friendly and very helpful ( we suprised my son who lives there) online/on phone staff was amazing! Highly recommend this resort! You definitely get more than what you pay for! $488 for a week. You cant get one hotel room for that price, and we got a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom tiny home!

Amenities…read morelike a gym, game room, community room, swimming pool (wished it was heated), dog park and, like expected & typical in Florida, RV slips close together with some long term residents and some short term. We rented a Tiny House here, during the 2022 Christmas holiday. Reception staff was nice, not super knowledgeable about resorts events though. Resort Housekeeping serviced our rental (but the rental likely is owned by someone out of town). When we needed a space heater, because temperatures went below freezing, an ozone air purifier was brought (size of space heater, but NOT the same thing). The front sleeper sofa mattress was removed before we arrived, which made sitting there nearly impossible. May or may not be connected, but a couple days into our stay all three of us began to itch. The pieces didn't all fit together, at first, but there were Bed Bugs and our extremities showed the evidence - We had numerous bites! Days after, back at our home, an urgent care visit was necessary, due to an allergic reaction. The medications, laundering , loss of (possibly) infested items like luggage, and the daily attention to our home to eliminate any hiding 'hitch hikers' significantly outweighs the cost of our trip itself. Still a constant battle for weeks to come. So my greatest concern with the RV Park is their inability to identify a bed bug problem and prevent the critters from spreading. The homes nearby are at risk of an infestation, as well as the community areas, if this problem isn't handled with aggressive diligence.

Kelly did absolutely everything she could possibly do to help with the situation. She stayed long after her shift had ended. She shows the same diligence in every aspect of her position at CGCG & RV Park. Now for the park, they have some amazing residents, some of who also pitched in. Let's start by saying we were excited the first year we went to this campground back in 2021. It…read morewas our first experience at being a snowbird and we had a great time. However as each year passed and our fourth year came to an end for our 6/6 agreement the campground had lost its identity and an under current could be felt which lead to our reduced enjoyment, pleasure and clicks were a major part. As the park lost their good snowbirds they were replaced with a whole different type of person. The rec hall where many events are held turned from a discreet drinking scene to a drunk festival as every event was replaced with 40 oz bottles, moonshine, Jell-O shots and pudding shots leading to a quick deterioration. Watching a married women basically sitting on men laps feeding them shots was the new norm. During our last event a hillbilly theme party one person thought it would be cool to drop his pants three times and no one said anything even with management there. Frankly yes he had a bathing suit but seriously show some class it's a family park not an adult club. The same person danced with a women who basically lost her pants to her ankles, It's a shame a respectful park became this and most left events by 7 or 8 pm due to situations. In addition it you like the pool for swimming good luck the volleyball people called Bullyball by some young children took over the pool's shallow end even when it was not scheduled they pushed their way into the pool setting up their net. This went on for a few years and resulted in several awkward moments at the pool in which management did nothing they allowed it to continue however this year was absolutely out of control. This caused many campers to leave the park as the pool kept being overrun during the prime time 3 pm even if it was not scheduled. By end March push back began and people intentionally loaded up the pool blocking the volleyball players when they tried to start a game during non scheduled times. The Landry areas are a joke they raised the price despite many machines not operating correctly including frying your clothes, not rinsing soap, no cold water only hot water. The washrooms in general are in a desperate need for a full gut and renovation. They are often dirty and not presentable for use. The true reality and the condition of park today most of the grass is dead or killed off, most pads are all broken up this includes both the pad and patios. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing as 2 is not enough for the amount of lots, in addition there are rules however these rules are not enforced or for all. This includes drinking and driving golf carts there is even 1 golf cart that is literally a mobile bar. Evidently pot and medicinal pot smokers are a criteria at this campground as no matter where you are If you enjoy the smell of pot it is a multiple daily event this has degraded yearly. It is a shame that this park in a wonderful location has raised it rates $1500.00 per season over our time yet needs serious work. It appears that there is little direction by Management to lead its employees and organize a schedule of maintenance as well as impose the rules

Not because of the: - Ice-cold AC that felt like a personal Arctic breeze - Mini fridge that perfectly held all our essentials (and a sneaky stash of chocolate for S'mores) - Keurig coffee maker that made mornings in the wild feel like a cozy café - Extremely comfy beds that cradled us like marshmallows - Strategically placed fan keeping the cool air flowing and the bugs away - All in a safe, clean, well-appointed tent and campsite that made us feel like nature royalty But also for the pure joy of being able to immerse ourselves in nature with none of the hassle. In just five minutes, you could be on the river or fishing. We saw everything from alligators and turtles to amazing birds. The water was crystal clear, and the campers were extremely friendly and respectful. Even the shower water was hot with great pressure - a true luxury in the wild. For novices and pros alike, this is the perfect way to introduce kids and adults to camping. You get the best of both worlds - the thrill of the great outdoors with the comforts of home. However, a quick tip for fellow glampers: make sure the Velcro seams on your tent are sealed. Otherwise, you might wake up at 3 am to a raccoon staring at you eye to eye, munching on a bag of Cheetos. Trust me, nothing says "good morning" quite like a critter with a penchant for junk food and personal space invasion! In the end, our glamping trip was the perfect blend of comfort and adventure. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a first-timer, this experience is bound to leave you with great memories and a newfound appreciation for the great outdoors - with the added bonus of a good night's sleep and no backaches. Plus, you get to tell the tale of your midnight raccoon rendezvous - a true badge of glamping honor!

Worked at Saddle Creek in Lakeland, Florida in Building 18…read more Here is my experience: 1. Arrived at building 18 and made contact with Kathy in dispatch. Kathy instructed me to wait on another driver who could train me on a CNG tractor. 2. Waited for 2 hours in the breakroom. Finally introduced to Omar (CNG trainer) who showed me how to operate CNG. Kathy then assigned a truck to me which was not CNG but regular tractor day cab. (wasted almost 2 hours). 3. Assigned a trailer and handed the BOL by Kathy. On pre trip of assigned trailer, found license plate light was out. Informed kathy of defect and was instructed to repair the light at the shop. 4 At repair shop, light was fixed and finally dispatched at around 12:30 noon. Had been in touch with kathy and ELD logs documenting this defective light and the late dispatch. Receiving: Arrived at 1st receiver (Ft. Lauderdale). Discovered that the trailer was loaded incorrectly by Saddle Creek warehouse. Had to physically remove all packages from the trailer to get the 1st stop's load. Then had to reload the trailer to head to the second stop (West Palm Beach). Received numerous calls from Kathy in dispatch asking about my ETA to Palm Beach. Notified her and dispatch that the unloading took a lot of time and DOT hours were dwindling. Made it to the 2nd stop with an irate and rude warehouse manager. Asked me "what my The problem was" because I was late. Explained about the trailer error but didn't care. Notified dispatch( Kathy and Scott) that manager was rude and in my face. Leaving 2nd stop, notified Scott in dispatch that DOT hours were running out. (had to make it back from Palm Beach to Lakeland in 3 hours). This was not happening. Was instructed by Scott to take the 16 hour exception and proceed. Asked specifically about other options but received 0 feedback from Scott. Arrived back at Saddle creek building 18 and violated DOT driving rule (had to drive 1 hour illegally) Next Day Summary of Events Report was sent by both Scott and Kathy in dispatch to warehouse supervisor Chris Sands of the following: 1. Driver (me) dispatched late (completely ignoring the license plate light issue-item 3 above) 2. Driver took tractor to shop without authorization (was approved and instructed by Kathy to take the truck to the shop (item 3 above) 3. Driver took to long to unload (completely ignoring that the trailer was loaded incorrectly from warehouse) 4. Driver violated DOT driving hours: Scott stated to Chris Sands that he "told me, the driver, that if I run out of DOT time, to call him. This was false and Scott never mentioned those words to me. I do however take full responsibility for the illegal dot driving. In Summary I have found that the two personnel, Kathy and Scott (who was in direct contact with me during the entire load) reported false and inaccurate statements to management to either mitigate risk from the operations standpoint or to shift blame more on the driver. Met with Chris Sands (manager at building 18) in person and had a good meeting. Chris was attentive, direct, and a good listener. his major issue was with the illegal drive time (which is completely understood). Had no other comments or feedback when I explained that his dispatch team (kathy and Scott) falsified and accurately described the load events and details.

We had lunch at the Rooftop Bar with our two picky eaters and quickly realized that we should have ate downstairs where there was chicken tenders and fries. They weren't a fan of the flatbread pizzas, but enjoyed the wings. We did enjoy our cocktails and the view from the upstairs bar so maybe next time we will just grab one drink and then go downstairs for food. We spent several hours at the park and probably only saw half of the attractions so we will return soon to see the rest of the park because we missed out on the train shaped playground equipment located behind the welcome center. The treehouse ended up being a little boring and only had one tunnel slide and one swing so we quickly moved onto the indoor bee exhibit. My boys favorite attraction was the wooden owl that had multiple climbing walls, slides, and nooks to play hide and seek. One of the main outdoor playgrounds was unfortunately under construction. Hopefully they plan to add shade to that playground because everything was in the sun. Overall we really enjoyed our visit to Bonnet Springs Park and was impressed that there was no cost unless you visited the children's museum or ordered food.
