The safest thing there was the fresh fruit and the bread rolls. The rum punch included with the package was pre made and not good at all. We settled for warm wine and the Pepsi was nice and crispy so at least there's that. Of course we get what we pay for but dang this was bad. I thought with fancy pants Starlite being in the family this would be a slightly better experience but lesson learned. Affordable doesn't mean my family gets a break on paying a lot of money for outings, it means we will be slumming it. Also, they took a picture of us and had the nerve to ask $16 for it. No thanks. We had a small dog with us at our campsite, and he briefly walked over to the campsite next to us. A staff member approached us and told us that if our dog was not kept on a leash, he would ask us to leave. We understand the rule and had no issue complying with it, but the way he spoke to us was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. I am an IR nurse, and I always treat my patients with compassion and respect. Imagine if this staff member arrived at the IR department in pain or with an injury and was treated with the same level of rudeness. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

This place sits close to Salem's and is on 60 and Kings Ave. Place is a great size for a skating rink and they have different races for different ages there to make it stay fun and active. If you want a trainer, it is $5 extra and you have to trade your shoes in for the skates which makes sense cause you're not going to leave without your shoes! They also have a bounce house and have staff to supervise. There's an arcade too for those who aren't into any of those things and a place to redeem for prizes.
