Julie, has done an amazing job of overhauling an empty shop and making it into a fascinating trip…read morethrough a botanical Fun place for anyone to visit.
Whether you are a house, Plante fanatic, or looking for an interesting gift for someone who is, there's bound to be something there for you.
There is a rich collection of pots, a plant potting bar with very specific types of soil for very specific types of plants. They also have high-end plant care products for growing green things beyond their expected level of health and beauty.
Their selection is amazing, thousands of a variety of plants from succulents, to carnivors, to gosh, so many I cannot name.
However, let me focus on a super interesting reason to visit this store. First of all, it's a great place to take your kids. They can build a terrarium.
For this they have classes, or you can do it yourself, supervision of children, of course. To build a terrarium, you will select one of a number of beautiful shapes and sizes of Glass, the size determines the number of plants that come with your kit. You choose your plants, you choose your decorative items, your sand of many colors to choose from, and you make a beautiful living piece of art that you can keep for a long, long time..
There are also bonsai classes, and again you create your own bonsai space and learn how to trim them for hours of fun for those who love a unique detail in the bonsai.
Certainly, I can't name every type of service they have but I can say this there is a bingo night on Saturday nights. If it's the same as when I first went, for $20 you get six rounds of bingo and the winner receives a beautiful fairly costly Plant.
Again, there's so much here not only being a gift shop, a botanical wonder, or a place to socialize and enjoy a class where you leave with an investment in fun learning
This is over at Peterson Station and is lined with shops to their left and to their right. Have some fun at The glass garden then go over for some ice cream at Jack the dipper, or dinner at the Next Door Mediterranean restaurant. You'll find a nail salon, a hamburger joint, Doherty's pub, and an entire suite of Hair Studios featuring the best hairdressers all in one lovely space.
Please visit Peterson Station, and don't forget The glass garden. It's worth going to Peterson Station just to visit The glass garden where the owner Julie, will show you a good time. She has put a lot of love in the decor, it's full of cheer, laughter, and plenty of knowledge about all things green and flowering.
