Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware) I visited Wildcatter's Bowling & Entertainment on 3/24/2026. The service and food was fine. I tipped $12 on a $57.98 tab ($69.98 total - 20% tip). When I reconciled my checking account, I noticed the debit card had been ran for $77.62, which means the tip had been increased to $19.64 (33% tip). I took this to Tosha, the manager and asked that she look into the variance and didn't hear back. It's only a $7.64 difference, but it's the principle of the matter and theft. We're do I even start!! They say new management but they need a newer one! The game card machine was broken it took over 2 hours for food mind you one of which was just a salad! the steak was terrible didn't even eat it. Over 30 mins just to get a drink. Then got charged for wrong ticket and the waitress knew it was wrong one when I addressed it but didn't do anything about it.... They did discount the ticket for the long wait but since I got charged the wrong ticket that was pointless for mine. Never again!!! read more

Good diner-food with friendly service. A little attention to detail goes a long way. The shoestring fries on the side salad and the perfectly cooked bacon on the chicken sandwich let me know I would be enjoying lunch. I was not disappointed. I was a little surprised to see some of the other reviews, but Wildcatters was hitting on all cylinders when I was there. Come check it out! Ok when in Borger just look for the most out of place building in the whole town. Once there you can mark off the "list of things to do in life" have a fantastic steak in a bowling alley in Borger, TX. CHECK... The Bowling alley is brand new, clean and well maintained. It features flat screen tv's above each lane. A bowling friend tells me they put to much oil on the lanes but i had no idea. Its cheap clean fun for a small town with nothing to do. Spuds sports bar located inside the same building. Has standard bar food items. But the Rib-eyes are what its all about here. They have great flavor and seasoning. They are well cooked over a real flame. The beer is ice cold here. Sometimes there is ice in it, its so cold. All the food and beer are available in the bowling alley. Great for a night out with the family. Some good steak and a little bowling. Not like there is anything else to do in the town. Enjoy. read more

so this business just re-opened and my family and I decided to head on over for dinner. the staff is friendly and helpful, but they've got a long way to go to improve their appeal. The table they sat us at was dirty, the menus were smeared with food. we ordered chicken fried steak and the steak was overcooked and you could taste dirty oil. there is a 2 dollar upcharge for loaded baked potato, but it was still practically dry when we got it. in short, was worth a second chance... but that's enough for me. read more

I'd love to write a good review of this place. It is to nice to have a facility like this in Borger, and it seems to be manintained pretty well. But I was frustrated with how they handled our group when we visited in December, 2014. We had two separate groups that were going to bowl together. (Total of about eight people.) We showed up about 15 minutes apart, but we all began bowling at the same time. We planned to bowl for one hour, maybe more. What we didn't know is they started charging the first group as soon as we paid, not the time we began bowling. Since we waited for the second group to arrive, our game ended 15 minutes earlier than theirs. I tried to explain this to the girl at the front desk, but she didn't seem to care, and wouldn't allow us all to finish together. I'm not sure if that's a standard policy or not. They didn't tell us anything about it when we checked in. I could possible understand this if we had been notified about it first, or if the place had been busy. But there were only a couple of other people bowling that night. I've e-mailed the management to let them know of my frustrations, but got no reply at all. Poor customer service will run people out of an establishment faster than anything. read more

This bowling alley is huge, complete with an arcade, concession stand and indoor bar and grill. The pizza is really good, my friends and I order one or two every time we go. There is usually decent music playing and there are a lot of lanes. I have had a few annoying experiences with them however - most of them entail waiting at the desk to pay for a game and get my shoes sometimes for up to 30 minutes! (With NO lines). The other annoying experience was when I called them from pampa to make sure they had lanes open before making the trip - they said that they did indeed have lanes open. Drove 20 minutes, got there and there was a birthday party in full swing and they had rented all the lanes. So, my husband and I drove 20 minutes for nothing because of a careless employee. Other than that, I've had some good times here. Staff is the only reason this place will never have 5 stars. read more

I am really, sadly, disappointed with Wildcatters. I know they have just reopened but, I have eaten there twice now and both times have been fairly disappointed. I'm not complaining about the service. Although slow, I know that they are still learning. No. I am disappointed in the food. Both times we went, we 2 children with us. The selection for them is really kind of sparse. For the adults n the first time I got the chicken fried steak. (I tend to judge a place of they can make a decent chicken fry). It was... OK.... it comes with a baked potato.... no mashed potatoes. Limited on the gravy also. To get the baked potato loaded, there is an uncharged. So butter only our pay extra... The second time, I ordered the sirloin steak. I like my steak cooked well done(I know, I know). When it finally came out, it wasn't even medium well. It was barely medium. My daughter-in- law's steak was cooked more than mine. (She likes hers medium rare). Borger is pretty limited on the amount of really good sit down restaraunts, I was really hoping the food would be better..... read more

I genuinely only give this place 1 star if any. They had horrible customer service and let people vape wherever they want. People may not think that vaping is bad but it is just as bad or even worse than cigarettes. The smell and amount of smoke that the vapes produce is beyond enough to give someone a headache. By the time I left I could barely see from the migraine from the kids vaping. The place is usually fun but for them to let people vape constantly in an open area is ridiculous. Then getting started on the customer service. They just re-opened and they have a definite "can do" attitude already. I dont think anyone wants to be suffocated by smoke and when I went to ask politely if someone could ask them to stop or at least go into the DESIGNATED smoking area they just told me that they can vape wherever they want. There was no compromise or even trying on their part. No one wants to go to a family place and get smoked out. If I wanted to suffocate in smoke then I would go to a vape shop, not my local bowling alley/arcade. read more
