She kept turning her head around to watch us and talk to us. She made sure that we were on straight and helped us get corrected. She taught us a lot about the areas and horses. I really loved that she kept a conversation the entire time. We absolutely loved the views of the mountains, even if it was smokey! Jerrod, Jenni and Kathi were great from the beginning communicating everything needed for my hunt. They even worked with me when my friend backed out due to a health issue. Everyone was helpful and friendly when I showed up. My guide, Moses, was the best. A true professional, hardworking, knowledgeable, tireless, relentless but still friendly. Moses worked his butt off to get me in range a great deer and did most of the work caping and quartering afterwards. Moses took me farther and higher every day looking to put me on a good buck when the weather didn't cooperate. He tailored my hunt to my abilities and desire. Like hunting with a good friend, maybe better. Worth every dollar, especially when you consider out of state license/tag (without points or draw), lodging, food, horses and a top quality guide who knows the area. Not a hunt for your first hunt, the faint of heart or for someone in poor health. He broke his collarbone and 3 ribs. I have a hard time understanding how a stable who rents to children as young as 7 can have a horse who is so unpredictable. They have a wealth of hunting and guiding experience all over the country and world. We booked a bear hunt for 4 hunters. The accommodations at the lodge were amazing. Very comfortable cabins to stay in with home cooked meals every day. The guides worked their tails off for us, and wanted to see us punch our tags as much as we did. While their guiding abilities were great their personalities were even greater. I'd be happy to share a camp fire and beers with these guys any day of the week. Based on this trip we will be looking forward to hunting with Sawtooth Wilderness Outfitters every spring. You can ignore the bad review from the past owners and book with these guys with confidence.

(We ended up going on a last minute hunt that was sub par at best but paying full price.) Gave it to us in writing. Found out he is no longer willing to honor his word. Says there are new owners and they don't care about the agreement. So, if you book with these guys, this is the type of organization you are dealing with. Their work cannot be trusted. Side note, my buddy did go on his hunt with Sawtooth, week after I was going. He was not impressed at all. They did not see a single deer. They did see a few elk, but way off. Avoid, there are other more honorable outfits
